"Hello everyone, thank you for coming tonight, all I have to say is that I am grateful for heaven’s for giving my sisters and I another year to celebrate." Mother Lu took the lead since she was the eldest amongst them.

The people smiled as they heartedly clapped for her.

The next person to speak was mother Mo who flashed everyone a beautiful smile, one so rare especially coming from the one and only strict and feared matriarch of the Mo family.

"Well, Hello everyone. It is a rare occasion for me and that is why Iam this smiley, which as you all know us not something you should see." She said making everyone in the venue laugh. She laughed alongside everyone before she continued.

"You see every year has been the same for me but this year, I have been blessed with a daughter in law everyone! Someone I never knew I would be even getting, considering my son’s personality!" This time round, there was a mixture of laughter and admiration from the crowd as Mother Mo instructed Mary to stand and wave to the crowd.

With the help of Ian, the girl joyfully waved to the crowd and the admiration in the eyes of Mother Mo was more than evident that everyone else, especially the ladies in the room started feeling jealous but a certain someone was oozing out alot of hatred as she glared at Mary, almost burning her back and Mary being Mary, she turned around as stared at Rita, maintaining eye contact as she gave her a cold smirk that disappeared as fast as it came.

Rita on the other hand was a little bit surprised on seeing the girl look at her straight in the eye, no fear evident in those eyes, and the smirk, well, let’s just say it made her a little uncomfortable but she brushed it off real fast, regaining her ’confidence’ as she inwardly continued degrading her.

Before mother Mo could complete her speech, the woman smiled mischeviously before taking Rebecca’s hand into hers and looking back at their audience.

"Ohh come on people! I need a capable, loyal, elegant and perfect brother in law as soon as possible!" The moment she finished her statement, everyone, including Rebecca looked at her in shock but it quickly disappeared as most men started shifting in their seats obviously ready to try out their luck but for most of them, they wanted Rebecca so that they could get close to the big five family but ladies and gentlemen.... We all know Rebecca and not to mention her crazy niece Mary who would go to any lenght for family.

As people were exchanging words with Rebecca giving out her birthday speech and of course mother Mo running away from Rebecca, two gentlemen at the back of the venue were looking at Rebecca, each lost I’m their own thoughts.

One of them looking at her because her twin sister was his lover and to date, he doesn’t know where her body is and the other one looking at her because he had a huge crush on her, he still does but never had the confidence to express it even after she left her husband and well.. because her twin was (or maybe still is) his boss’s love.

Rebecca felt someone looking at her, a look so different from everyone else’s but when she tried locating the look, her eyes accidently met with Jonathan’s and what was that she saw in his eyes? Pure admiration? No thank you! She quickly averted her line of sight while Alice remained fuming in her seat as usual just because Jonathan was busy admiring Rebecca.

After the speeches and cake cutting ceremony was over, it was now time for people to impress the birthday girls with the gifts they had brought and if they were lucky enough, this was going to be their lucky day.

This was a time everyone was really looking forward to especially Rita. "Time to go to hell bitch! " She muttered as she saw people starting to line up to present the gifts.

It was something that people took serious since the birthday girls were supposed to open their gifts before everyone so ofcourse, if your gift is viewed not impressive by everyone else, let’s just say your reputation might be a mess and being rich folks, reputation really mattered to them.

"We will be the last one’s guys." Jane told the group and Liam, Jordan being unaware of what was going to happen just nodded. The other girls, Nicole and Lisa and Chloe who knew about the whole plan just persuaded their partners and they were to present their gifts before Jane’s group because afterall, they wanted this gift to be remembered by their aunties.
