"Turn it off! My daughter has been framed!"

Alice shouted but no one could actually concentrate on her as they were all watching Anna slap herself and forcing her tears out.

"What do you expect from an actress anyway?"

Someone from the crowd spoke as they all started giving Anna weird looks.

"She is such a bitch!"

"What are the Chen’s even thinking?"

"I always knew she was so fake!"

The people present started gossiping as those who have never liked Anna took it as an opportunity to trash her.

Edward was actually in shock seeing the clip that he looked at Jane all of a sudden wrapped up in Liam’s hands protectively and down to Anna in his arms.

"You lied to me.. why Anna, don’t you care about yourself or at least our baby!"

The man could not keep his cool and ended up shouting, scaring the girl and all who were watching.

"My love I.. I did not slap myself.. I.. I.. "

The Anna in question had panicked so much that she could not even reason out.

"You what Anna?" Edward clapped back two times angrier but he couldn’t understand why he was that angry.

"I. I.. I did not hurt our baby please..."

She started sobbing harder which in turn made Edward calm down seeing her weak appearance, prompting him to silently hug her as he swallowed his anger.

The Chen couple wore embarrassed looks as they listened to people in the crowd throwing dirt at their name but they couldn’t do anything because the people were stronger than them.

Mary clapped her hands as she stared at Alice, once again gaining all the attention.

"Next time check the security cameras around you before doing anything ma’am and on a completely unrelated topic, I still can’t believe that you actually stay in the upper class society! I mean.. who would?"

Her tone was completely full of mockery and sacarsism that couldn’t be unheard.

Alice was now fuming with anger as she wanted to charge towards Mary as she cursed her,

"You bi.."

She did not finish her statement when a firm and cold voice filled the venue, actually sending shivers to everyone.

"I dare you to finish your sentence woman!"

Ian spoke as he walked towards Mary and snaked his hand around her waist and his cold eyes stared intently at Alice, making her freeze both her statement and her steps.

"I.. I.. General Mo! She has clearly insulted me, the second madam of the Lu family, how dare she?!"

Alice gathered her courage and spoke but deep down her heart was beating fast.

Everyone, including Anna had stopped and was holding their breathes to see what was going to happen.

Ian giggled lightly as he responded, "Well, I don’t see the insult, in fact, she is more than right."

His statement was followed by giggles all

around as Mary turned and winked at Rebecca, making the woman smile as she tried concealing her laughter.

Before Alice could clap back, Ian spoke once again but this time, his words came as a shock to everyone.

"Before I forget, you see this gorgeous lady right here, the next time you see her, give her respect as Mrs Mo and the next young madam of the Mo family, the military family of country X! This goes to everyone else too."

His words were firm and coupled with his aura, everyone could actually picture the kind of power carried by Mary.

"The next Mrs Mo! That is all I ever wanted ugggh!"

"She is pretty and intelligent too!"

"But can she fight?"

"She must know all those to be the general’s wife come on!"

Different murmurs could be heard as people shamelessly rated Mary.

They all started giving her different looks but no one knew that the Mary in question did not feel a thing at all.

After a long silence of absorbing everything, a round of applause filled the venue as they all clapped for both Ian and Mary, totally forgetting about Anna and Alice as if they were some pieces of shit.

Alice held back her anger as she stared at Mary’s back, "I will make you pay bitch! I haven’t lived longer for nothing..."

Her eyes were purely covered with evil intentions, together with her daughter as they were both staring at the same person but they did not know Mary’s men were on the watch and had actually seen them.

"Well Mr Chen, If you’re fiancee ever dares to accuse my woman falsely, you know where all this will end in.. "

Liam turned to Edward after Ian and Mary went to their seats and without waiting for an answer, he turned around together with Jane as they walked to their table.
