Chapter 151: I am back

"That’s my man." Jane smiled deeply as she stared at Liam before giving him a peck.

"At your service my queen." He responded back gladly accepting the peck.

The two sat round the table where the rest were when they all heard a voice making them automatically turn to the direction of the voice .

"Becca..."

Jonathan stood behind them as he called out Rebecca. Everyone else turned to Rebecca to see what she was going to do but at the same time they were worried for her.

The Rebecca in question just nodded to her family members as she stood up to talk to her ex husband.

On seeing Rebecca standing, Jonathan became super happy because he thought she couldn’t resist the thought of seeing him.

"Make it quick Mr Jonathan." Rebecca cut the man from his train of thoughts as she said to his face, in a stone cold voice.

Jonathan who was woken from his train of thoughts looked at Rebecca from head to toe as he could clearly see her curvy body perfectly which were actually making the man sexually aroused.

"If you are done checking me out, speak up!"

This time round, her voice came as a command startling the man.

"Uum..Becca.. I actually miss you.. can you or can we still be together...we can get remarri..."

He did not finish his statement when a loud slap echoed the hall making him hold his cheek in pain.

"You bastard! The next time this thought comes into your mind, delete it immediately! Nonsense!" Rebecca proceeded to leave the venue looking completely pissed but on her way out, a commotion was heard as a luxurious car was parking right outside the venue making everyone wonder who was coming hours late to the venue.

Rebecca actually stood back instead of leaving because she was also curious. Jonathan on the other hand was busy rubbing his swollen cheek that he did not realize she had already left.

The car came to a complete stop and the back seat was opened only for a dashing young man to come down. The man extended his hand for a young lady, equally smart and beautiful.

Everyone erupted in discussions the moment people realized who that was. The top families were surprised that they ended up shouting Mark’s name in unison.

Anna on the other stood still and kept shaking her head in denial the moment she saw the lady accompanying Mark Mu.

The reporters as always crowded him to question him and surprisingly, the man seemed patient enough and entertaining.

"Mr Mu, welcome to the event. We are all curious to know who the lady beside you is, if you don’t mind."

Mark just smiled as he brought the young lady closer, making the cameras get a clear view of her.

Mark smiled once again as he looked at the cameras before finally speaking. "Well this evening is someone’s engagement party but at the same time, it is about to be someone’s comeback party."

By now Anna was sweating uncontrollably as she wished the lady was not who she was thinking.

His statement confused everyone present as they couldn’t understand what exactly the man was saying when suddenly a loud shout was heard startling everyone.

"Lisa! Please tell me it’s you!" Rose shouted as she made her way towards Mark and the girl making people widen their eyes in shock when the girl nodded and let down her shawl as she smiled.

"I am back Country X!" She said confidently as she winked at the cameras when one of the reporters spoke reminding everyone who she is.

"Oh Heavens! She is the A list actress who disappeared months ago! She is the goddess of acting! She is miss Lisa!"

The female reporter shouted making the others widen their eyes in shock.

Before anyone else could speak, Rose ran past the reporters as she jumped on Lisa, given her a very tight hug. Lisa gladly reciprocated the hug as she controlled her tears. The venue was almost silent with an exception of the clicking of cameras as people who were fans of Lisa praised her, some screaming as others shed tears.

After a whole minute of hugging, the girls parted as Lisa seriously stared at the cameras as she spoke.

"Well it is indeed true that I suddenly disappeared with no trace that everyone seemed to forget me but that’s okay." She chucked a little before continuing.

"You all know I am an open person and I will therefore tell you all where I have been."

There was total silence as everyone was indeed curious to know where she has been.

"I got into a serious accident and for the past months, I was in country B receiving serious treat.." Lisa didn’t finish her statement when Anna shouted attracting everyone’s attention.

"No! You should be dead! You are dead bitch!"

Everyone gave her very weird looks including Edward who even took his hands off her.

Lisa chuckled lightly as she gave her a stare right into her soul scaring the girl.

"I am sorry to dissapoint you Anna, I know that is what you always wanted but look at me...I am back.."

Her voice was calm but for some reason it send chills to everyone hearing it.

Anna was about to shout back when she noticed the looks directed towards her that she immediately regained Hee composure as she changed her words but the damage was already done.

"Eerm.. I mean welcome back Lisa.. Hehe.."

She scratched her head but the looks she got now were worse than the ones she got earlier.
