The shooting theme for Z Magazine was autumn nostalgia, and it was a street shoot; hence, the chosen location was an older suburban street. However, since it was far from the city center, most of the original residents had moved away, leaving the place with an old-world feel and sparse human presence.

After September began, a bout of autumn rain cooled the weather, dispelling the lingering heat.

The staff from Z Magazine arrived at nearly the same time as them. The stylist created a rather strikingly cold makeup look for Delphine in the car. Her originally soft and understated facial features were sharpened, transforming her temperament completely.

The outfit for this street shoot consisted of cropped slim-fit trousers, a corduroy shirt, and a mustard-colored vest. Delphine’s naturally curly long hair, thick and soft like seaweed, complemented her look perfectly. Standing by the red wall of the vintage-style street, she instantly evoked a feeling of time travel.

"Your expression needs to be colder, more aloof."

"Yes, perfect—that’s exactly the feeling I want!" The photographer from Z Magazine slapped his leg in excitement. This girl’s facial proportions were flawless, and every gesture she made felt like art. Each candid shot turned out exquisitely.

What was originally planned as a two-hour shoot was completed in under an hour.

Everyone happily decided to wrap up early. Kyla Zamora had some work matters to discuss with the people from Z Magazine, so she left with them in their car.

Delphine felt somewhat fatigued after the shoot and instructed the driver to take her to the Leclair residence. His voice was shaking.

The voice was oddly familiar, and Delphine couldn’t help but feel she’d heard it before. When she looked again and saw Leo Yeager running over, shouting all the while, her complexion suddenly turned pale.

The group of men was about to seize the injured woman, but Delphine instinctively stepped in front of the vehicle, blocking them. She shouted to the driver, "Call the police!"

The driver, who had just gotten out of the car, was initially terrified thinking he had hit someone. Now, seeing this group of menacing thugs, his face turned completely white. Mistaking the situation as an attack against Delphine, he quickly pulled out his phone to call Maximilian.

"Leo Yeager, what heinous thing are you up to this time? Didn’t you learn your lesson from before?" Delphine confronted him coldly, her tone sharp as she stood her ground in front of the car.

The men who were trying to grab the injured woman faltered when they saw Delphine suddenly appear, especially when she addressed Leo Yeager by name. They instinctively turned to look at the Yeager family’s eldest son.
