The Throne Is Mine -
Chapter 306
Chapter 306: Chapter 306
No matter how much Amelia ate, she found it hard to get rid of the foul taste of the cookie Lilith fed her. For Lilith helping her so much today, she would have better cookies made that should impress Lilith.
Lilith was now a demon, but Amelia had the power to help her experience things she might have missed when she was human.
"Here," Killian said, holding out a fork filled with more food for her to eat.
Amelia frowned at the sight of more food. She was already full and did not need anymore, but she could not resist eating when Killian looked so happy to be feeding her. His time here with her in the castle was limited and he would need to leave soon. Amelia opened her mouth for him to feed her.
She could only hope this was the last but Killian went right back to putting more food on the fork.
"You mustn’t eat so much if you are full," Anne said to save her daughter. She found it cute that Amelia would not just say no to her husband feeding her.
"Are you full?" Killian asked.
Amelia slowly nodded her head. How could she not be full when she ate from her plate and Killian fed her from his? She had not once seen him take a bite of his food. She knew that he did not need to eat this food to survive, but it bothered her to not see him eat.
"Let me feed you instead," Amelia said, taking up her fork and knife to do it.
"I am sure Killian does not-"
"Shut up, Lilith. Let her do as she wants," Killian said, not allowing Lilith to ruin his fun because she was all alone without Lucifer. She should go back into the underworld and not bother him.
Lilith sat back in her seat. Killian would soon regret not being kind to her. She wanted him to leave the castle soon so she could give Amelia another cookie. Or she would have to feed Amelia two in the morning.
Amelia handled the taste quite well so far and Lilith was curious to see if she would still be alive in the morning. It was no fun yet that she could not reveal what she was doing. She would leave for the underworld before Killian could find out what she was feeding his wife.
"No one wants to see the two of you acting like this? Where are the king and his mother? I was hoping you’d tell us what will become of them. Bones of a king will sell well among my sisters," Sybil said, patting her mouth with a cloth now that she was finished eating.
"You’ve got some nerve to clean your mouth after the mess you have made," Ramona said, tempted to snap her fingers and make Sybil disappear.
"I placed the two of them in a dungeon. The former king is wetting himself and his mother is plotting a way to get out of the castle. It won’t be long before she calls upon you to free her and her son. I happen to like your aunt even though she is a bit rude when it comes to greetings," Lilith said, reaching out to touch Amelia’s hair, but her hand was smacked away by Killian.
"Do not touch her," Killian mouthed.
He would love nothing more than for Lucifer to come to get his wife. The two of them had a weird relationship that he did not want Amelia to be influenced by.
"You are so boring," Lilith muttered, standing up since dinner had lost her interest. "It will be more fun when you are not here tomorrow," she said, purposely picking up a few strands of Amelia’s hair as she walked behind her.
As much as she liked Amelia, she would not do whatever Killian had in his mind. Not unless Amelia wanted to. Their husbands would not like it until they sat down and watched it happen.
"I will be going to spend some time with my husband. The underworld has no sun or moon so if I am a little late tomorrow, please go easy on me. And do not come looking for me," Lilith winked.
"I wouldn’t even if I could go into the underworld," Amelia muttered as she remembered Lucifer and Lilith having sex on the throne. She didn’t need to think hard about what the two would do after being apart for almost an entire day.
"Dinner was nice, but it is time that my mothers and I head to bed. It was a long journey to get here and tomorrow will be another busy day," Anne said as she stood up. "Mother," she smiled, urging them to get up to leave Amelia and Killian alone.
Ramona and Cordelia stood up so they could leave with Anne to find a room they could all share together. They did not trust Anne to be alone in another room in case there was someone looking to kill her again.
Anne started to walk away from the table with her mothers behind her, but she noticed that Sybil had not moved. "Sybil. I said that it id time to head to bed."
"I am not one of your mothers and I still want to hear about what will- Eek!" Sybil screeched, pushing back her chair to get away from the large flame that came from one of the candles on the table.
Ramona and Cordelia pulled Anne away from the fire out of instinct even though she was not a witch.
"Killian, you bastard!" Sybil hissed, knowing that it was his doing to get her to leave.
"Dinner is over for you," Killian replied, keeping his eyes on Amelia who was also startled by the flame. He was only motivating the witch to leave so he could be alone with his wife.
Sybil knew who she would turn into a frog next and boil in hot water. She stomped out of the dining hall, still shaken up by the flames.
"That was not nice for you to do when they are afraid of fire, Killian. You need to apologise when you see them again," Amelia said, putting her fork down since Killian did not deserve to be fed by her. "Would it have killed you to kindly ask them to leave so we could be alone? We could have returned to our bedroom if you wanted to be alone. Killian," Amelia whispered, removing his hand from her leg.
"I apologise-"
"I said to them," she sighed.
It was like dealing with children.
"I am apologising to you now since I upset you. Am I forgiven?" He asked, leaning forward to be in her view.
"Only because I do not want to spend the rest of the time you are here being angry with you. I need water to rinse my mouth. I can still taste the cookie Lilith offered me," Amelia said, pulling a jug of water close so she could have all of it. She switched to the one with juice when she noticed some was left over.
"What cookie?" Killian asked, looking around the table for any cookies, but there weren’t any served. "What cookie did she give you?"
"It looked like one she might have found in town. She said thought it tasted good, but I disagree. There is a horrible taste that I cannot get rid of- Killian?" Amelia sat up, looking around for Killian after he vanished from her side. "What did Lilith give me?" Amelia wondered out loud, now concerned about what she ate.
She thought nothing of it since it had come from Lilith, but seeing that Killian left her side when they were supposed to enjoy every second together, something was wrong with the cookie.
