"I spoke of going down to the underworld to search for the rest of your soul, but it is a bit tricky since I would have to let Lucifer know that I have taken it. The demon who keeps track of souls will notice that something is off and inform Lucifer. It will be up to him if you get to keep the soul even when it is already out of the underworld," Killian explained.

Lucifer didn’t like it when something was taken from his realm without permission and a deal was made in exchange for something pricey. It didn’t matter that Amelia’s mother needed the soul.

"I knew there would be some risks to it. If it places you in trouble, then I should stay as I am now," Anne said, not wanting anyone to have to face the devil because of her.

"I don’t mind stealing from the devil. It is something that I do all the time," Killian admitted. Lucifer had yet to find out that it was he who stole the mirror and a few other things. It was entertaining to watch Lucifer say that he was missing something but had no idea what it was.

Killian took things further by telling Lucifer that it was the old age getting to him and that was why he felt like something was missing.

"I see. If the devil tries to take my soul back down to the underworld, I will not be upset. There are many people who were wrongfully killed and not given a second chance to say goodbye like I was. I got to see my daughter, meet her husband, and see Margaret be turned into a toad. It would have been a blessing to see any grandchildren should I have any in the future, but I am still satisfied," said Anne.

"That I am working on. You should be around long enough to see one. Do not tell Amelia that I have said that," Killian begged as he could see Amelia getting with him over the simple answer.

"I will not. Is she excited to have children?" Anne asked since she had never heard Amelia speak of loving them.

"She is."

"That is good to hear. I do not want her to think of it as her responsibility to give you children. The two of you should have them when you are ready. Do not let the kingdom pressure you into it because it is in need of an heir. The two of you are both healthy and I assume you will be turning my daughter into a demon or will you sacrifice everything and become human?" Anne asked, curious about what decision they made.

"She will turn into a demon. It is not possible for me to turn into a human unless many Gods come together and decide to punish me. There are too many demons waiting to kill me if I were to turn into a human and Amelia would be much better as a demon. It will become hard for anyone to kill her with the strength she will have as a demon. I intend to get rid of the priests," Killian said since they would pose a threat to his wife and future children.

There was a chance if Amelia was already pregnant that she would be carrying a half-bred demon which would be easily affected by the tools used by the priests and holy water. There was a very rare chance for their child to be half-bred and not affected by holy water since they would be a human and holy water should have no effect on humans.

Killian was still looking to figure out why it caused Amelia to burn when she was far from being a demon or witch.

"Amelia was burned when holy water touched her. Is there something more about your past that we should know about?" Killian questioned since Anne was a mystery.

Anne didn’t see why it had something to do with her past when before all of this she was a simple human. "You just said that she will turn out to be a demon. Haven’t you started?"

"No, we decided to wait for when taking over this castle would end. She will be in a lot of pain when she starts to turn."

"I was just a human when I birthed her. There is nothing special about Richard and I doubt my mother would have done something behind my back to change me. I do remember my parents being normal people. They just left me since they could not afford a child. I wandered into the woods and found the witches. There is nothing odd that I can recall, but I will ask for their help," Anne replied.

Witches were good at pointing out what someone was so they should have an answer to what was happening with Amelia and why holy water affected her.

"We should go inside before she starts to worry that we have been out here long. The next time I return to the castle, I will bring your soul so that you are somewhat back to normal. The moment you need to eat, grab the former king or someone else. Anyone but my wife. I might not be able to stop myself from getting rid of you if you try to eat the woman I love," Killian said, choosing to be upfront and honest so if the day ever came she would know her fate.

"If I ever try to eat my daughter, I would hope that the man who claims to love her would pry me away from her and kill me. You would be doing me and Amelia a favour. I could never live with myself if I ever tried to attack her. Walk with me," Anne offered her hand for Killian to hold.

He became like a son to her.

"If there is ever a chance, I would love to see Richard with the illusion of my old appearance. I wish to torture that man for the shit he put Amelia and me through. I hope it is killing him again to know that his daughter now sits on the throne. If I cannot visit him, at least tell him what has become of the throne," said Anne.

"I intend to. I thought of taking a toad to show that it is his mother and then throwing it in a fire to toy with him," Killian smiled.

"I like you," Anne chuckled at his devious plan.

"What took the two of you so long to come inside? Were you talking about all of us? What did you say about me?" Sybil asked as she disliked being talked about when she was not around.

Ramona was disgusted by the sight of Sybil eating with her hands when there were forks and knives on the table. The spell to make Sybil look beautiful had started to disappear and needed to be made again so Sybil now looked like a wild animal as she ate. "Sybil, you ugly beast. Must you eat like you don’t have the slightest idea what forks are for?" She asked.

"And why would they be talking about you when we are present? They must have been talking about how he will look to get on her grandmothers side. I like parts of demons, humans, frogs, and the roots of trees found in the underworld," Cordelia said, listing the perfect gifts for him to have her blessing to be with her granddaughter.

"I was not talking about you, mother. Or you Sybil. We were just greeting each other. There are forks for a reason," Anne said as she sat down opposite Sybil with Killian’s help. It was like a small murder scene before her and it was only bread and wine that was placed in front of Sybil so far.

"Stop acting like you are still the queen with all that manners nonsense, Anne. You are regular folk like us and I am hungry. Someone should bring me some meat before I start looking around for my own food," said Sybil.

Amelia started to panic as she thought Sybil’s food would concern one of the servants. "Please start serving the food before she eats one of us," she said out loud to the maids who were already shaken up by everything that happened throughout the day. They were trying their best to act like everything was normal.

Lilith tapped Amelia’s hand to get her attention. "Eat this," she said, holding out a special cookie she wanted Amelia to eat before Killian came to sit down beside her. "It is the best thing I have ever tasted."

Amelia bit into the cookie and frowned the moment she started to chew. The taste was not wonderful. It was bitter and had a strange aftertaste. Lilith had to be in the underworld too long since this was the worst cookie Amelia had ever eaten.

Lilith put the rest of the cookie in her mouth just as Killian sat down. She had to wait until Killian was not by Amelia’s side to feed her another cookie again.
