The Throne Is Mine
Chapter 300

Chapter 300: Chapter 300

"What about those two?" Ramona asked, pointing at Beth and Fraser. She didn’t know where they fit in with the people who hurt Anne. "Have they hurt any of you?"

She considered Amelia to be her granddaughter and since she was not around Amelia till now, her first gift as grandmother would be to turn the people Amelia hated into animals. She would make a nice potion with them or skin them to make something nice for Amelia to wear.

Amelia looked at Fraser who had become a mess. His cockiness had faded and was replaced by fear. Like always, he was still hiding behind his mother. Had she and Killian not come down from the north, Beth would have succeeded in ruling the kingdom behind Fraser until she could no longer control her son.

"Aunt Beth has never done anything to me other than bring Fraser into this world. If she has not done something to you in the past, we should let her leave the castle. Fraser on the other hand is not going anywhere, but I will deal with him myself," Amelia said.

Fraser wasn’t exactly the worst of her enemies. He was more of an annoying one who always looked to bother her. She couldn’t let him leave the castle since he might be used to trying to take her off the Blackwell throne and she just did not want him out of her sight.

Since Fraser so desperately wanted to be in this castle, she would keep him here forever. Make him regret picking a fight with her. He should be thankful that she had not yet decided to kill hi,.

"Cordelia," Ramona said, giving her sister the honour of turning the first person into an animal. "Since you are going first I will turn the old woman into a frog."

Amelia glanced at the witches after hearing about a frog. She did not think that her mother’s words meant her grandmother would have to be turned into a frog. She had to stand here and watch that?

"Amelia," Anne said, touching Amelia’s shoulder to get her attention. "Can we speak outside for a moment?"

She did not want Amelia to have to watch her mothers turn everyone into animals and listen to the things they planned to do with those animals.

Amelia nodded her head. She could spare a few minutes to give the witches time to turn everyone before she would let the people in to be judged. She also needed to wait for Lilith to come to the throne room to help with judging. Lilith was able to see the extent of how many sins someone had.

"Amelia," Beth said, approaching the mother and daughter. For the first time in years, she curtsied before Amelia and bowed her head to show respect. Before Amelia continued any further with what she was doing today, Beth needed to know what would become of her son. "I need to speak with you."

"Nothing will happen to you," Amelia promised.

"I am not worried about myself. I am worried about the king. My son. What will become of him?" Beth asked, feeling nervous about Amelia’s answer. She pulled Fraser into the castle mess so she had to get him out of here.

"Fraser is not like the men of the court or your grandmother. He has not killed or harmed anyone. He did spread rumours about you killing your father but that is true. He has done nothing to be killed for. Do not be so petty as to kill him because he sat on the throne before you. That was not only his doing. Your father and many others pushed for it to happen," Beth said.

Amelia could not blame Fraser for the throne not going to her right away. If not Fraser, her father would have used Annabelle’s child if it were a boy, to look to bring in another woman to get her pregnant or turn to another male relative.

"Princesses don’t sit on a throne-"

"I have," Amelia interjected.

She reached her goal differently from what she had planned, but regardless of the many obstacles in her path, she now sat on two thrones.

"Sometimes I feel saddened that it took marriage for me to sit on a throne as queen, but I started to consider myself very lucky. I got what I always wanted and surprisingly, I found something that I loved more than the throne. I am not angry that Fraser sat on the throne before me. Any more," Amelia added since she was angry at one point.

Who wouldn’t be when Fraser of all people wade made a king before she became a queen in the Blackwell kingdom?

"It is true that he has not harmed anyone. He was not on the throne long enough to ruin the kingdom, but it still stands that if demons coming to this kingdom had not happened, Fraser would have tried to kill my husband and perhaps me if he felt like it. You know your son better than I do so please do not stand before me and try to say that it is not true," Amelia quickly spoke as Beth opened her mouth to start lying for Fraser.

Since Fraser had made his mother his right hand, Beth had to know what he was planning when it came to Killian. She must have known about the men who entered the castle with the purpose of attacking Killian.

"Do not stand before me and act all innocent, aunt Beth. You know how your son is. I’ve been thinking differently of you lately. You knew that my father was hardly a good king yet you allowed him to mould Fraser into a mini him so you could rule behind him. You used your son to have your moment to see what it would be like to be king-"

"You do not understand," Beth replied, taking a step forward to Amelia, but she was blocked by Anne.

"I do understand because I have been where you were. Coming up with many plans to get closer to the throne. Fraser was your way to the throne after grandmother sent you out of the castle. You cannot see it, but there is regret written all over your face. I feel sorry for you, but I will not change my plans for you. Please stand back," Amelia said, turning down further talk of letting Fraser go free.

"We are family. You would allow these monsters to get rid of the few Blackwell royals we have left?" Beth questioned. It would only be Amelia left in the castle by the time this was finished.

"It seems you skipped the history lessons when you were younger. This would not be the first time the Blackwells were targeting each other. Why did you not speak up when it was just revealed that Margaret killed my mother? I can admit that I have killed my father and I would like to get rid of your son just as he would like to get rid of me. I’m sure you wished to get rid of my father so you would be the only Blackwell heir at that time."

"Let’s not try to act like we have all been innocent. Today is not a day to upset me since I will change my mind about letting you go free. No matter how much you desired the throne, you should not have pushed to have another version of my father sit on it again," Amelia said, slightly disappointed with Beth.

She had sympathised with Beth in the past since her aunt was also a princess who did not become queen though she might have been better than her brother. Beth lost Amelia’s respect by pushing to have Fraser on the throne when she knew he would not be a good king.

"I have spent so much time, effort, and money preparing you to become queen and this is how you repay me?"

Amelia sighed, not in the mood to deal with her grandmother again. It was somewhat funny how everyone ignored the things they did and spoke of her betraying them. Like they did not all have their own desires and were looking to either kill or use each other.

"We should go outside to speak to our mother. I have much to do and I am already behind," Amelia said, taking hold of her mother’s hand so they could walk out of the throne room together. "Hurry up and change them to animals so I do not have to go through these conversations again. It is annoying to hear the same thing over and over again and have to repeat myself."
