Chapter 188: Chapter 188: A Short Training Session – 4

“My wives… did you forget why I was doing the simulations in the first place?”

Damian continued.

“Unlike other universes, our universe doesn’t have a home cosmos to draw power and providence from. We are completely alone. It’s because of that our universe started to lose its life, piece by piece. We are urgently in need of something, some sort of way to reverse the situation of our universe. That’s why we are doing simulations… to awaken my gifts as an Anomaly.”

Damian lowered his voice slightly. “Rebirth after rebirth. Regression after regression. I’ve lived thirteen lifetimes, lived as an immortal and a god, but I never managed to awaken my gifts as an Anomaly. But in this life, in my 14th lifetime, I have finally started to awaken the gifts of my Anomaly, my true nature…”

Damian touched Avaline’s cheeks gently and looked at all his wives together. “The reason I’m saying all this is because I don’t want you to be worried about me. You don’t have to worry that something will happen to me. I’m doing something that goes against the rules that have always existed because I’m a necessary Anomaly that the universe needs. If our universe is going to survive, I have no choice but to use the gifts of my Anomaly. And since our universe was abandoned by the Regulators of the Cosmos, they no longer have the power to interfere with what happens within our universe.”

“Even the Universal Tree, Positivity, and Negativity cannot control my Anomaly. And they don’t care because they, too, understand that if our universe is going to survive, I need to be the Anomaly I am… I mean, they birthed me in the first place.” Damian sighed.

“I’m sorry I let my emotions take over for a minute there.”

“We understand, darling, but it’s hard. We’re your wives. We couldn’t help but get concerned when you do dangerous, rule-breaking things. As goddesses, we understand how a being cannot break the rules of reality and here you are breaking them one after another,” Amelia said, holding her husband’s arm.

“I get it. I’m very extremely grateful that you’re looking out for my well-being. But at the same time, I hate to make you worried,” the human king replied.

“I’m an Anomaly that even the Regulators of the Cosmos couldn’t anticipate or comprehend. No one, not even the three Regulators of the Universe, can control my Anomaly or harm me. And even if they could, they wouldn’t do anything. Because they also want me, their own child, to be an Anomaly,” Damian said, patting Lenora and smiling at his three wives. “So I ask you… Don’t worry about your husband”

“I’m going to become so powerful that those who let our universe fall to this level will feel what fear truly is,” Damian smiled.

“Anyway, there’s still a lot of time before we get to that point. Right now, all we have to worry about is increasing the providence of our universe and defending it against the raiders and invaders.”

Damian reassuringly patted their heads, making them smile, before looking at his four High Humans. “Anyway, as I was saying, I have given you four vampire traits.”

“Does that mean they can use the racial powers of vampires?” Amaya asked, curiously observing the four High Humans like she was looking at a new toy.

“Well, not exactly,” Damian explained.

“They have vampiric abilities like enhanced senses, regeneration, superior reflexes, high pain tolerance, charm, mental attack resistance, and stronger physiques, but not on the same level as Noble Vampires. Still, it’s enough to make them the most powerful and talented High Humans ever.”

“That’s ridiculous,” Tiana muttered in shock.

“You said regeneration like Noble Vampires? Does that mean, like us, they also won’t die and can regenerate endlessly as long as their brain isn’t destroyed?”

“Yes… but there are complications,” the Vampire King continued.

“The abilities of vampires come from their unique energy, [Blood Essence]. Since they couldn’t possess [Blood Essence], their abilities as High Humans are naturally immensely weaker but still effective. For example, if a Noble Vampire takes several seconds to regenerate a lost limb, it would take hours for a High Human to regenerate the same.”

“The ability that makes Noble Vampires so powerful is their insane level of regeneration. Even if their regeneration is not as strong, it still makes them formidable opponents. Not to mention, High Humans already possess high adaptability,” Akira muttered.

“Right…” Damian nodded and looked at his four High Humans. “You’re not just High Humans anymore… I guess you should be called [Superior High Humans]. That sounds about right, don’t you agree?”

“Whatever you say, Your Highness,” the four High Humans agreed.

“The reason I gave you more power is to make you unique among the other High Humans, make you superior among all others,” Damian said as he raised his hand.

In the next second, about three hundred droplets of blood manifested from his hand before crystallizing into small, pea-sized blood crystals, each containing a single drop of blood trapped inside.

“Take these blood crystals with you and use them to create three hundred more High Humans on Earth. Make sure the ones you turn have useful or powerful abilities,” the Human King continued, narrowing his eyes.

“Don’t forget, you four are the strongest High Humans now. With your new vampire traits, you have more resilient and stronger bodies, which means you can train more intensely. Plus, with your adaptability traits, you can easily become some of the strongest Awakeners in no time.”

Damian looked at Lucian. “I know the world you originally came from, the world of Morris. It’s a human-populated and technologically advanced world… I want you to take these four there.”

Damian looked at the four [Superior High Humans]. “Once you are in the world of Morris, use your High Human status to create as many [Superior Humans] as needed and take control over Morris. I don’t care how long it takes… You may go now.”

“We will do as you say, Your Highness,” Shiru, Maria, Ana, Yuki, and Lucian bowed before their king and then disappeared from the spot.

“What are you planning, darling? Are you just going to conquer all human worlds like this?” Lenora asked curiously.

“That’s the plan. But right now, my High Humans are very weak. They need to grow more powerful to deal with other human worlds like the cultivation worlds or Murim worlds. But the world of Morris doesn’t have powerful Awakeners. It is technologically far more advanced than any other human world. Conquering them will give us access to their technology and medicine, which we can use to manage Earth even better,” Damian explained his plan.

“It’s been more than a thousand years since the system first appeared and awakened on the world of Morris. They’ve greatly adapted to the changes and even used the supernatural elements that came with the system to improve their technology… I consider Morris very valuable. By integrating their technology with Earth, I can bring Earth thousands of years forward.”

“Husband is a great king on his own,” Avaline said proudly.

“Well, that’s to be expected. He was a prince of a kingdom in his past lifetime… He learned from the best,” Lenora said.

“I think darling is even better than any other king from the Upper Plane. Because unlike them, he has much more responsibility on his shoulders. After all, the entire fate of our universe lies in his hands. Yet he knows what comes first, what he should do at the moment. He is the greatest of kings,” Amelia said.

“You guys flatter me too much,” Damian said, patting their heads.

“You deserve it, husband,” Avaline said, holding her husband’s hand.

Watching their interaction, the five Countesses, especially Kathryne Dracula, burned with jealousy.

She could be seen gripping her fingers so tightly that her nails were digging into her palm, while the six Alpha Werewolves just stood there, not knowing how to react.

Damian clearly knew what was going on with the five Countesses, and he just sighed, not knowing how to deal with it.

In his past lives, he never wanted to have more than three wives, whom he loved dearly, and he never had any need for more.

But that was no longer the case. Now he was the Progenitor of Vampires, Humans, and many races to come. He needed many more women to satisfy his needs.

Damian looked at the six Alpha Werewolves, observing them from head to toe.

He had to admit Lenora was very careful when she chose the representatives of the Werewolf race.

They were very beautiful, though not as powerful as the five Vampire Countesses.

But it didn’t matter, since once he became the Werewolf Progenitor, he planned on giving them more power. For now, they had no tasks here.

“You six, go back to Vargheim and make sure everyone there knows,” Damian’s eyes glowed with an intense red light, casting the rest of his face in darkness, “that the Werewolf Progenitor will be arriving to take his throne.”

“W-We will do as you say…” the six Alpha Werewolves said before they disappeared from the spot, leaving behind Damian, his three wives, and the five Countesses alone.
