Chapter 187: Chapter 187: A Short Training Session – 3
Each noble vampire clan has unique bloodline abilities that are passed down from generation to generation to children born through procreation.
There are currently 12 noble vampire clans in existence, including the Five-Count Clans, and each of the 12 noble clans possesses a unique bloodline ability of their own.
“Your bloodline ability, Blood Smithing, marks the 13th noble vampire bloodline ability ever born in the vampire race,” Lillian said. “I wonder where your bloodline stands against the others in terms of power.”
“How many constructs can you use at the moment, at the same time?” The vampire king asked.
“Your Highness, it depends,” Lucian continued.
“The quantity and quality of the constructs I create depend on how much energy I put into them and how strong I am myself. The more power I put into generating a construct, the more powerful it becomes. I can currently make about three constructs with the energy I possess, but if I put the energy required for three constructs into making just one, it would have the power of all three.”
“That’s actually a very powerful ability, depending on how you use it,” Tiana Valthryne muttered.
“I don’t think so though. No matter how much I try, I couldn’t make more than three constructs. Even if I try to put in less energy to create just one more construct, I start losing control, and the constructs become completely undone,” Lucian said.
“Well, that’s obvious,” Damian said.
“You are a young noble vampire without proper training. You cannot expand the capabilities of your bloodline ability yet. It would take thousands of years of training before your ability could stand against other noble vampires.”
“Let me demonstrate to you the true potential of your bloodline ability,” Damian said.
When Damian became the Vampire Progenitor, all the noble vampires, and the plebeian vampires they created, came under his influence and became his vampires by default.
As a result, the 12 bloodline abilities possessed by the 12 noble clans also became Damian’s bloodline abilities.
This is a unique power exclusive to the Progenitor of Vampires: whenever a noble vampire with a new bloodline ability is born, that ability is also acquired by the Progenitor by default.
So, when Lucian became a noble vampire and awakened the new bloodline ability [Blood Smithing], Damian also acquired this ability in addition to the 12 bloodline abilities he already possessed.
Damian raised his hand as a red substance, similar to what came from Lucian but thicker and denser, almost like his own blood, started to seep out of his hand and began to take the form of a figure in his own image.
The blood didn’t stop flowing as another blood soldier grew out, and then another one.
One by one, three dozen blood soldiers were created using the bloodline ability Blood Smithing.

[Bloodline Ability: Blood Smithing]
[Effects:
-You can create any sort of physical constructs or inanimate objects using your blood and your blood essence as the power source. The quantity, quality, power, and strength of the constructs depend on your own energy, power, and strength.
-You can animate the constructs or objects you create by assigning them functions or instructions, as long as they are physically feasible of being performed by the constructs
——
The three dozen blood soldiers Damian created looked much different from the three blood soldiers created by Lucian.
They possessed armor, swords, spears, and various weapons in their hands, and everyone could sense a strong presence coming from each of them, as if they had souls of their own.
“Anyone want to test their strength?” the Great King asked, especially looking at his four High Humans: Shiru, Maria, Ana, and Yuki.
“I want to try, my king,” Maria stepped forward with a confident expression.
“Go ahead,” Damian nodded, and one of his blood soldiers, responding to his mind, stepped forward, holding a spear in its hand as if it were truly alive.
Maria held her spear in her hand. A silvery white aura covered her figure as her presence grew stronger.
“A Holy Power user?” Akira muttered in surprise.
All the vampires and werewolves were shocked that a human possessed Holy Power.
They were also slightly wary of her, since Holy Power is a weakness for all creatures of the night.
Maria’s strength grew rapidly as her [Holy Essence] coursed through her body.
She sprinted forward at full speed, leaving specks of her energy behind.
As soon as she appeared in front of the blood soldier, she skillfully swung her spear, enveloped in holy energy.
The blood soldier stood like a statue, holding its blood-forged spear in its hand, before it raised its arm into an offensive stance, following Damian’s control.
As Maria arrived, it also swung its spear, clashing with the incoming holy attack.
Their attacks met, creating small waves of wind pressure. Maria felt like she was striking a brick wall.
With a surprised expression, she gritted her teeth.
She had packed her full strength into that attack but it didn’t even leave a scratch on the blood soldier.
In fact, she could clearly see the blood soldier hadn’t moved an inch, as if her attack had done absolutely nothing.
Following Damian’s mind control, the blood soldier put more power into its spear and forced it forward, pushing Maria back several meters.
Before she could regain her momentum, the blood soldier flashed forward like a speedster and attacked again, not with its spear this time, but with its hand.
The punch connected, sending Maria flying and crashing through the ground before finally coming to a stop.
“Haa… that hurts,” Maria muttered as she painfully stood up, using her spear for support.
She had wounds all over her body, and while her [Holy Essence] was slowly healing her injuries, it wasn’t fast enough.
Healing at this rate was rapidly draining her energy reserves.
“Damn it…” Maria gripped her spear and prepared to attack again, but she stopped when she noticed her king had ordered her to stop through telepathy.
The blood soldier returned to its position while Maria walked back to stand beside her king, her head lowered in shame at the performance she had shown in front of him.
“Don’t feel ashamed… Our king is as strong, if not more powerful, than the god kings of the lower pantheons. It’s expected that you cannot even hold a candle to one of the blood soldiers he created,” Lenora said.
“I’m not disappointed, Maria,” the Human King replied as his finger glowed with the rich green energy of his [Wood Essence].
He shot it toward Maria, and as soon as it landed on her, all the injuries she had sustained were instantly healed.
“Thank you, my lord,” Maria replied, bowing slightly.
“I understand you were busy managing everything happening on Earth, but you should still make time to train,” Damian said sternly.
“I will do my best, my lord,” Maria replied.
“Tell me, Shiru. Are the High Humans I created enough to manage Earth? Did I overestimate your capabilities?” Damian asked.
He wasn’t blaming her; he had simply realized that having just 16 High Humans manage a 1.8-billion population of [Superior Humans] on Earth might have been a miscalculation.
He had thought that, just as five vampire countesses ruled Nightingale before his arrival, something similar could work with the High Humans.
But he hadn’t accounted for one factor: experience.
The High Humans lacked experience in such responsibilities.
“…It’s… I—” Shiru couldn’t answer.
She didn’t want to admit the truth: that they couldn’t handle such responsibilities.
As the King’s personal assistant, she didn’t want to disappoint or dissatisfy him.
Damian didn’t need her to say it out loud. He knew what she was thinking.
The three wives, Lenora, Amelia, and Avaline, watched without interfering.
They had already discussed many things with their husband, including their ideas and suggestions.
Even now, they were communicating with each other through their minds.
“Come close, my High Humans,” Damian ordered, and Shiru, Ana, Maria, and Yuki stepped forward obediently.
Damian raised his hand, and blood droplets like red pearls formed from his palm and shot toward the four High Humans, landing on their foreheads before entering their bloodstream.
In the next moment, their skin became slightly whiter, their complexion healthier.
A warm sensation spread through their bodies.
Their heartbeats quickened slightly, and they felt rejuvenated.
Their eyes and hair became more colorful and vibrant, naturally more beautiful.
“Darling, what did you do to them?” Amelia asked, using her goddess senses to observe the changes in the four High Humans.
She noticed that their presence had changed, very slightly, but enough to make them different and unique from the other High Humans.
“Their heartbeats are faster… so is their blood circulation. And I can feel their life force becoming stronger than before,” Lenora added as she assessed them curiously.
“Nothing much. They’re still the same High Humans as before, except now I’ve given them traits of a vampire,” Damian replied.
“That… it’s similar to what happened to Lucian, right? How he inherited traits from a High Human?” Amelia asked.
“Yes… I’m starting to get a handle on this,” Damian grinned.
“I’ve just learned how to control my race creation abilities. I can now decide which traits are passed down to the beings I create at will.”
“Already?” The three goddesses looked at each other nervously, shocked by the talent displayed by their husband.
It hadn’t been long since he became a Progenitor, and to think he already had this level of control over his Progenitor abilities was simply ridiculous.
“Darling… just how talented are you? I can’t believe this. The abilities possessed by Progenitors directly affect the boundaries of creation. It takes a Progenitor thousands of years to gain control over their race creation abilities like you did, and you’re doing it like it’s nothing,” Lenora said.
“And not to mention, there’s never been a being who became the Progenitor of more than one race before. There was no such thing as a human inheriting the traits of a vampire, or a vampire inheriting the traits of a human. It shouldn’t even be possible in the first place,” Amelia continued.
“I wonder if this should even be something you’re doing. I’m worried you might suffer backlash or something, darling.”
“Now that Amelia mentioned it… shouldn’t manipulating things like this have serious effects, husband?” Avaline also asked with concern, prompting all the women present to look at their king with worried expressions.
Damian looked at his wives, then at his court ministers. “Yes, I’m an anomaly. But that became irrelevant the moment our universe was abandoned…”
“My entire existence is an anomaly. The universe that birthed me is an anomaly,” Damian continued.
“My existence may have been an anomaly, but I was of no use because i couldn’t use my gifts yet they feared me.”
“They feared what I might become. That’s why they made sure I wouldn’t use the gifts of my anomaly… That’s why they cut off our universe from the rest of the cosmos, as if imprisoning me inside a dying star.”
“My wives… did you forget why I was doing the simulations in the first place?”
