Chapter 359: Chapter 359 - The Black Storm

"Well, his mysterious behavior leads me to suspect that he is one of the mafia dons. Whoever the man in the painting is to him, I will find out," Robin paused for a moment, contemplating his next move.

"I know exactly how," he finally said, reaching for his phone and dialing a number.

The recipient trembled at the sound of Robin’s name but answered the call nonetheless. He spoke nervously into the phone,

"I’m sorry, Mr. Jewel, but I will leave tonight. I have already sent my daughter away, so she won’t cause you any trouble."

Don Kane assumed that Robin was calling in regards to the ultimatum he had given, which is why he responded in such a manner. However, Robin had a different motive for the call.

"On the contrary, I called to ask for a favor," Robin cleared his throat and continued,

"I have a painting here with me, but I don’t know the person in it. I was hoping you could help."

Don Kane, being the Don that he was, saw this as a great opportunity and took advantage of it.

"I would like to see the painting first, but what do I get if I am able to identify it?" he asked, his tone serious.

Robin had already anticipated this question. After all, Don Kane wouldn’t do anything for free.

"You mentioned that your daughter has already left. If you ensure that she never sets foot in New York City again, then you can stay."

Don Kane smiled internally, pleased with Robin’s proposal. It was exactly what he had in mind, and Robin had predicted it. Allowing a small smile to escape, he replied,

"Please send me the painting."

Robin ended the call and quickly sent Don Kane a snapshot of the painting. Don Kane immediately called back, his voice filled with certainty.

"That is Black Storm. Nobody knows his real name. He is a hacker."

Robin was frustrated to once again have to deal with another hacker. He found them to be too cunning and time-consuming.

"I understand. So, can you assist me in finding out who this hacker works for?" Robin asked, hoping for a positive response. However, this time, the answer was not in his favor.

"You know how hackers are. They never leave a trace and never reveal their clients. Unless you can find a more skilled hacker to track him down," Don Kane suggested.

Instantly, Robin thought of Daniel and Peter.

"Alright, thank you," Robin replied. He was about to end the call when Don Kane added,

"Also, make a general request for the best hacker. That way, it won’t raise suspicion."

Robin’s eyes lit up as he hadn’t considered that approach. However, he also realized that if the hacker was too busy, he might not be available.

As Robin pondered his options, he decided to explore all available avenues. "Your information is helpful," he acknowledged.

"Thank you, Mr. Jewel."

After ending the call, Robin sighed in frustration and turned to Daniel. "We have another hacker to deal with. His name is Black Storm."

Robin was relieved that Sabrina had returned to the inner room, where she and Lizzy were sleeping soundly.

Daniel quickly found information on this hacker, but he realized that they were still missing some crucial details. He asked Robin seriously,

"Even if we find him, who are we going to tell him that we’re searching for?"

Robin shrugged and replied, "The person who assigned him to me as a project."

Daniel nodded, but he cautioned, "It will take time."

Robin agreed, saying, "I know, but please increase the security around our cameras."

"I’ve already taken care of that. They can’t be hacked," Daniel assured him, calming his anxious heart.

Two weeks passed, and it was now the weekend. Sabrina went to visit Matilda at the penthouse, bringing along urgent information and a gift.

Meanwhile, Robin waited for her in the living room while she carried a large box upstairs with the help of a woman she had brought along.

The woman waited at the door while Sabrina went to wake Matilda in her bedroom.

"Tilda, you have to accompany me to a party with Robin," Sabrina said, shaking the sleepy Matilda.

Matilda yawned and was surprised to see Sabrina in her room. Her words about Devin not being home and not answering her calls echoed in her mind as she responded,

"I’m not interested in parties, Sabrina. Devin hasn’t been home since last night, and he’s not answering my calls."

Sabrina’s eyebrows raised as a smirk formed in the corner of her lips before she asked Matilda in a serious tone,

"Why didn’t you call me?"

Matilda picked up a bottle of water from the bedside and gulped it down before explaining,

"I feel like I’m complaining. Can you believe that we still haven’t gotten intimate?"

Sabrina was shocked at that revelation, recalling what Devin had said to her before she went to France.

How could he not practice what he was preaching? Sabrina only hoped that it wouldn’t backfire.

"Please, let’s talk more at the party. I already got you a dress and it’s getting late," she said, going out to retrieve the box from the woman she had come with.

Opening the box, she revealed a long white dress adorned with jewels. Matilda was mesmerized.

"This is stunning. What kind of party is it? This dress looks like my dream wedding gown."

Matilda couldn’t take her eyes off the dress as Sabrina giggled and said,

"You’re so silly. Let’s change and go. I also brought someone to do our makeup," she added, bringing the woman she had brought along.

Matilda was still in a daze as they dressed up and had their makeup done. She couldn’t help but say,

"I look like a bride."

Sabrina smiled and agreed, "Indeed, you look stunning."

Upon arriving at the party, Matilda felt a sense of strangeness and asked,

"Are you sure this is a party? It looks like a wedding."

"Really?" Sabrina raised her eyebrows. She was gorgeously dressed, but her baby bump was not hidden.

"Wait, how come I’m the best-dressed at this event?" Matilda held Sabrina to a standstill as she gawked at the guests from a distance.

"Tilda, you look so beautiful," a familiar voice said behind her, bringing tears to her eyes.
