The next day, the reporters began to report live from the courthouse.

"Miss Zayla Chance has been sentenced to ten years in prison for her crimes against Mr. Jewel and Miss James, as was broadcast on live television during Miss James’s Birthday party."

"Her father, Mr. Kennedy Chance, has also been sentenced to life in prison for his series of crimes including aversion of tax, embezzlement of funds belonging to his investors, and the murder of Mrs. Florence Jewel ten years ago."

Sabrina muted the TV after those words before deciding to return to work as she saw how the police escorted Zayla to the car. She looked soulless, and her father looked sick.

Sabrina had mixed feelings but was sure she would have peace for ten years.

Her phone rang, and seeing Robin’s name, which she saved as ’My King,’ a smile played at the corner of her lips when she pressed the answer button.

"My queen, what do you think about the news?" Robin asked.

He feared for two things. One, Sabrina’s kind heart to change her mind to forgive Zayla, and two, her fears of Zayla coming back from jail to cause trouble.

Though he had plans, he wanted to know her stand before voicing it. Sabrina smiled and responded,

"At least we are free for the next ten years."

Robin smiled at the end of the line, feeling happy and satisfied that she wouldn’t show compassion to her enemy as he thought.

However, everything still boiled down to his second fear, which seemed to be the case from Sabrina’s response and asked half-jokingly,

"Do you think she would remain alive until then?"

Sabrina was a little confused at the question, knowing that Robin would no longer have authority over Zayla since she would be under police custody.

"But she will be in prison."

"It doesn’t change anything," Robin said but did not want her to dwell on the subject and quickly asked, "Anyway, how are you doing?"

"Very well," Sabrina smiled and replied. Robin smiled at the end of the line since he was confident that she was indeed fine and said to her,

"Then I want to remind you that I love you so much."

"I love you too," Sabrina smiled and replied.

Robin had made it so that whenever she thought about him, she would automatically smile, unlike before when all he gave her was sorrow.

Now, she would wake up with a smile, go through the day smiling, and go to bed with a lingering smile when he wrapped his arms protectively and lovingly around her.

Robin ended the call after that, and Sabrina was lost at work when her phone rang again after a few hours.

Seeing Robin’s pet name, a smile tugged at the corner of her lips once again as he said,

"There is someone at your door. Please allow her in." Sabrina frowned a little, asking,

"Who is it."

She wasn’t expecting anyone and wondered how Robin would be the one to inform her about someone being at her door and not her secretary or Laura.

"Please check it out, my queen," Robin said pleadingly and ended the call, knowing she would not attend to the door if he stayed on the phone.

Sabrina went to open the door as two pretty girls walked in, beaming with smiles and holding single roses, which they gave to her.

Sabrina accepted the roses and smiled more expansive, as she found them adorable, wondering how Robin organized this.

Despite his busy schedule, it always amazed her how he found time to do such things for her.

He kept surprising her daily, and she knew not to guess what would come next because she would only fail at it.

Just as she thought, a singer she recognized walked in and began to sing acapella.

’I just called to say I love you... I just called to show how much I care. I just called to say I love you. And I mean it from the bottom of my heart.’

He repeated this chorus three times, and when he was done, he spoke with a smile, "Mr. Jewel asked us to pass that message to you."

Sabrina laughed so much; she was shedding tears of joy. Her phone began to ring, and the singer walked out with the two girls.

When Sabrina answered the phone, it was Robin, and she was lost for words, unable to control her tears, as she sniffed the scent of the roses.

Robin was watching her from his office, his heartwarming, but she had no idea, as she spoke in a teary voice,

"Robin, it’s too much."

"Nothing is too much for you, my queen. You should recheck the door, but don’t end the call," he said softly.

Sabrina was still holding the two single roses as she walked to the door and was met with two people - A food delivery guy and another guy with a large bouquet.

Sabrina took the bouquet she had arranged in the vase before taking the food. Robin waited until she closed the door before he said on the phone,

"I’m sorry I can’t have lunch with you this afternoon because I have a crucial meeting, but you can share with your dad or anyone," he said at the end of the line; a joyful tear fell from Sabrina’s eyes.

"Robin, I love you," Sabrina choked on tears, but Robin frowned a little before speaking in a soft but stern tone,

"I thought we were no longer on first-name terms."

Sabrina laughed, wiped her tears, and said, "I love you, my King."

Robin smiled, his heart swelling up, and he said,

"Now that sounds better. Please enjoy your lunch, and I will see you in the evening." He loved it whenever she called him her King.

"Okay, see you," Sabrina smiled and ended the call.

A few days later, it was the wee hours of Friday morning when Sabrina was awoken from her sleep by a call from Matilda.

"Sabrina, Devin found out I was going to get an abortion. He locked me in the penthouse since yesterday and has not returned."
