Her second brother heavily dotted on Gu Aihan, which was strange for her.

Earlier her second brother hardly ever dotted on Gu Aihan. Hmph! He was so busy with his research work that he hardly noticed anyone.

But after an accident, her second brother started to dot on Gu Aihan too much. He kept on claiming that Gu Aihan was her only sister.

He even ignored her, which in reality didn’t bother her much.

But she was worried that if she tried to do a DNA test, Gu Aihan would know, and once she knew, she would swap out the results.

Her second brother might even help Gu Aihan considering how much he doted on her.

She needs to be careful! She can’t alert the enemy with no proof in her hand.

A plan was forming in her mind and Gu Jichun suddenly said to Gu Jin,

"Can you not tell anyone about our meeting?"

"Why?" Gu Jin raised an eyebrow.

Gu Jichun sighed in her heart that her sister truly looked the most beautiful.

So beautiful that she wanted to pull her cheeks. Without any hesitation, Gu Jichun pulled Gu Jin’s cheeks and sighed in satisfaction.

Gu Jin was completely surprised by Gu Jichun’s action.

Though Gu Jin hated physical touch, for some reason she couldn’t bear to ask Gu Jichun to pull away her paws. Hence she obediently let Gu Jichun pull her cheeks.

"So listen to me. For the next two months, pretend as if you don’t know me. When you arrive capital don’t try to clear my reputation and if possible please keep Gu Aihan busy.

No! You have to keep her busy! Anyhow! If everything turns out right...I will give you a huge gift at the end."

Gu Jin vaguely knew what Gu Jichun was about to attempt,

"Okay. I will try my best to hold Gu Aihan in the capital for the next two months."

Gu Jichun was instantly excited and hugged Gu Jin with a excited expression,

"Thank you! Thank you so much!"

Unbeknownst to Gu Jichun, a figure had already heard their entire conversation and muttered,

"I need to tell Miss Aihan all of these."

Saying so the figure turned around and left.

Gu Jin patted on Gu Jichun’s hand and said,

"Okay, let’s eat dinner."

Both of them sat down and had dinner.

After dinner, they talked for a while and both of them returned to their tent.

Gu Jichun slept peacefully thinking she had come up with an excellent plan.

In the middle of the night, Gu Jin woke up, snapped a finger and a skelly appeared from her shadows.

It was a skeleton warrior with wind power.

Gu Jin placed a finger on her lips and slowly moved out of her tent. After confirming Gu Jichun was asleep and creating some distance between herself and Gu Jichun, Gu Jin motioned the skeleton warrior to lead the way.

An air tornado appeared in front of Gu Jin, who with skilled practice took out a board from her space and stood on it.

Soon she reached the middle of the forest, where a black-cloaked figure was holding a human-like figure.

Gu Jin got down from the air tornado and looked at the human-like figure,

"Was it fun? Keeping a watch on us for the past week was difficult right?"

The human-like figure struggled, but the skeleton warrior behind him who was dressed in the black cloak and had a mask on, tightly covered the mouth of the human-like figure.

"Hm...what should I call you? A cockroach? Ah...no spy would be better right?" Gu Jin chuckled, but her laughter held no warmth.

She sat on the grass in front of the spy and said,

"Tell me your name."

She motioned the skeleton warrior to pull away the mouth.

The first thing the spy did was to shout,

This series of actions stunned the spy and he immediately asked in a wary tone,

Gu Jin looked at the spy with a smile,

"Well, this incense contains a numbing effect, as long as someone inhales it for 2 minutes their body would be paralyzed for at least 48 hours.

If they inhale this incense for more than 10 minutes, they might suffer from dizziness and they would be out for the next 2 months.

If they inhale this incense for more than 15 minutes, they might die. All in all, you will die a horrible death if you don’t speak. I won’t put off the incense if you don’t start to speak."

Fear flashed in the spy’s eyes, but he quickly concealed it and laughed,

"The incense has no such effect! Otherwise, why would you not give antidotes to your subordinates?"

Gu Jin chuckled when she heard the spy’s words,

"Who said I ate the antidote? I ate candy. I have long ago trained my body in such manner that no poison or incense could harm me."

In the past 3 years, Gu Jin consumed poison on a daily basis. Whenever there was too much poison accumulated in her body, Gu Jin would use acupuncture to remove it.

Even the leftovers were removed, then Gu Jin would repeat the cycle. In this way, Gu Jin didn’t die, nor suffer from any side effects, but she had to endure a lot of pain.

Yet Gu Jin endured it to the point no poison or such thing worked on her.

"And second thing, my subordinates aren’t humans."

Gu Jin snapped her finger, and the two skeleton warriors instantly took out the black cloak. Looking at the skeleton warriors, the spy was stunned, before struggling.

However, by then the 5 minutes had already passed and he even started to feel a bit dizzy. All the energy from his body seemed to have been dissipated.

If earlier the spy wasn’t sure whether Gu Jin was telling the truth or not, now he knew. Gu Jin was absolutely telling the truth.

He instantly answered Gu Jin’s question,

"I am Yu Sheng."

"Yu Sheng. Okay. So Yu Sheng tell me why were you spying on us?"
