Chapter 588: She broke the ritual
"So you want to kidnap me now?" Elliana asked, and Azrael cracked the bones in her neck before raising her hand.
"Why not? It has been my motive since the beginning," Azrael whispered.
Elliana smiled.
"In that case, let’s do it. Come, kidnap me," Elliana said, looking straight into Azrael’s eyes.
"You really thought the reason I was being tamed was because I was lacking Magna and powers?
The only reason I was acting tamed was because I wanted to look into my father’s eyes with my hazel innocent eyes and not my black eyes that would’ve shown him the monster inside me," Elliana said.
Azrael paused in her steps when she saw Elliana’s eyes turning pitch black.
And it wasn’t just her iris that turned black this time, it was the sclera part of her eyes that turned pitch black making her look like a monster who was ready to suck anyone’s soul.
"Come and kidnap me," Elliana said again before she raised her hand, her hand that was oozing blood.
She clenched her teeth before she took a deep breath.
"Das Feuer der Hölle," Elliana said before she placed her hand on the ground, clenching her fists so that more blood oozed out of her hands as she rubbed her hand on the magical realism, giving it more of her blood.
Azrael squinted her brows as she observed what the girl was doing, almost looking like a maniac.
"Why are you not moving, Azrael? I am in front of you all defenseless, unable to do anything. Come at me," Elliana said, scoffing at Azrael, who felt provoked.
Azrael stepped ahead and was about to grab Elliana’s hair in her fist when suddenly Elliana’s blood started burning, making a red flame shoot towards the sky that turned black, covering the entire magical realism with its flames.
The girl who had been looking at everything unfolding in front of her since earlier, and could see why it was getting hard for everyone to get a hold of Elliana, gulped when she saw the fire and the flame that was starting to consume the entire magical realism, as if trying to burn the prism built around them.
And it wasn’t some normal fire.
"You!" Azrael raised her voice when she realized Elliana used the fire of hell that was given to her as a legacy in her blood by none other than King Eros.
"I will not let you go so easily this time," Azrael warned Elliana who chuckled.
"Hahahha," Elliana laughed loudly, her monster side taking over her, the sanity inside her being suppressed by her powers, who started to take over, creating an inhumane shield body around Elliana. It was just like a monster hovering over her.
They promised they wouldn’t let anything happen to Elliana even if they had to sacrifice themselves in that act. Circe raised their hands before looking at Azrael.
"An emotionless bitch like you would never be able to form this kind of connection and bond with her powers. Oops, I almost said bitch. I meant, witch," Circe smirked at Azrael, looking at the woman with a proud amusing smile since they knew Azrael wouldn’t make the mistake of crossing the fire of hell.
It was a good measure that Elliana thought about.
However, there was a major drawback of using this fire. It only activates after taking a lot of Magna and-
Circe looked at Elliana, who swayed in her place as she coughed blood, bleeding subconsciously which was a bad signal for a witch.
’Hang in there, Elliana. We promise we will go back safe and sound. Don’t forget what you said to your husband. Fight for him,’ Circe said to motivate Elliana, who nodded at her and opened her eyes again with great difficulty.
She raked her brain, thinking about what she could use against Azrael to hurt the witch and catch her off guard.
She didn’t know what was going on back in the Black Forests. Since the bond broke, there was no way for her to contact Nathaniel or send them the signal to help her out. Her only hope was -
Elliana raised her hand in the air, throwing a burning dagger at Azrael who was trying to get near her.
"Do you really think you can get to me by crossing this hellfire?" Elliana asked, coughing more blood before shifting her gaze towards the girl who was standing at the side of the magical realism, looking at everything with wide eyes.
"You are just going to be like your mother? You would rather stand on the sidelines and see this witch destroy people than help someone," Elliana said, her words provoking the girl.
"Don’t speak ill of my mother. You have no idea what my mom is going through or went to -"
Elliana started laughing coldly, her laugh stopping the girl from speaking anything else.
"Who is your father, sweetheart?" Elliana asked without a filter in her mouth, her words angering the girl who was probably younger than her.
"Wait. Don’t answer that. You will shame your mother in many ways if you try to answer that question. We all know the truth after all, no?" Elliana’s eyes started bleeding because of the reaction from using the hell’s inextinguishable fire for too long.
She looked towards Azrael, who was still trying to figure out her strategies.
There was no way she would be able to counter the hell’s fire of Lord Ahriman.
Azrael looked at the fire observantly. The only way left was if she would be able to teleport Elliana back into the invisible palace that she formed with years of practice and lock the girl.
Though this was the only way, it was also the most risky one. Azrael knew she couldn’t afford the fire to come in contact with her direct powers or her body or it would be the end of it all.
The girl who was raging with anger because of what Elliana said, stepped forward, her eyes turning violet in pure anger and disdain.
"Elliana Minerva!" She raised her voice, and Elliana shifted her gaze from Azrael to the girl.
"That’s correct. That’s my name. Elliana Minerva, the proud daughter of King Eros Minerva and Azura Minerva," Elliana smirked, wiping the blood from the corner of her lips.
Meanwhile, back in the Black Forests where everyone was waiting for Elliana to give them some kind of signal, they gasped in pure shock when they saw the ice dragon appearing out of the blue, making Caesar fall back due to the intensity of power it consumed from him.
Pluto’s eyes widened when he saw exactly what he didn’t want to happen.
The ice dragon roared as if telling them something was wrong. But everyone’s gaze was fixated on that one man who was breathing heavily after being brought to the real world.
The dragon placed the man on the ground, making Azura who had her eyes closed to chant the spells, open her eyes when she felt his presence.
"Eros," Azura stood from her place to rush to her husband, making Nathaniel widen his eyes.
"No. Queen Azura!" Nathaniel shouted, making her realize what kind of mistake she made. However, it was too late.
Azura looked down at her feet and gulped. She had already stepped out of the design, breaking the eternal seal they had formed.
"I..." her eyes widened.
"A-Azura, is that you?" Eros spoke, his voice weak and timid, making Azura nod as her eyes brimmed with tears.
"T-that girl who saved me just now... *Gasp* She called me Dad. I-is that-" Eros struggled to speak.
"Our daughter," Azura nodded at him, walked to him, and held his hand in hers.
Sebastian stood from his place when he saw everything unfolding in front of him.
’No matter what happens, if we want Elliana to come back alive, no one should step out of this star,’
He clearly remembered her words and his gaze shifted to Azura who was holding Eros’s hands.
"What did you do?" Sebastian’s eyes drooped, and his voice turned a deep shade darker, making Pluto tremble in his place as he closed his eyes, ensuring his entire body was still touching the design properly.
The last thing he wanted was to face the wrath of the angry King.
He prayed that no one would say anything about the ice dragon coming back with King Eros.
"King Sebastian," Azura immediately saw his beast taking over and knew not to address him without his position anymore.
Nathaniel stood from his place, still inside the star design.
"King Sebastian, calm down. Nothing will happen to her. She will come back. Please keep patience. She sent father back because -"
Sebastian raised his gaze towards Nathaniel, a black drop of malice dropping from his eyes, making Nathaniel immediately shut up.
Sebastian scoffed.
"-Because she knew things were turning ugly. She sent her father back first because she still has trust in you guys that you will keep her safe. But what did you do?" Sebastian looked at Azura.
"You were so happy to see your husband that you forgot my wife, who is still fighting in that magical realism from god knows who, and left her to die?
You couldn’t control your excitement and put my wife’s life in danger once again. How dare you?" Sebastian looked at his feet for a few seconds, his beast growling and snarling inside him.
"Have you ever loved my wife? You are not a mother," Sebastian said, his words piercing Azura’s soul, and she shook her head, her eyes brimming with tears.
