The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride
Chapter 583: Angelo ran away?

Chapter 583: Angelo ran away?

"So we are really doing this?" Pluto looked at Nathaniel, who looked at the girl in Sebastian’s arms at some distance.

His eyes were neutral, but his aura clearly depicted how worried he was about what Queen Azura and Elliana planned to bring King Eros back from magical realism.

"We are, but I am not sure if this will really work," Nathaniel sighed.

Pluto hummed, understanding his dilemma, his gaze shifting to the vampire king who was hugging Elliana now. Everyone was afraid. Even though they were trying to act strong and confident, everyone had fear in their hearts, fear of what would happen if things didn’t work.

Since Leila got sick and was on the verge of dying right at the time when she was talking about Queen Arizona, they weren’t sure if Arizona was on their side anymore.

After Elliana said that she had made up her mind and wanted to save her father, Queen Azura decided it was better if they tried to get King Eros back without her sister’s help.

Elliana has once seen magical realism, all thanks to Leila, thus, Queen Azura was going to use her entire focus and Magna to send Elliana back into that magical realism.

Then Nathaniel and Pluto would give their magna to Elliana, keeping a connection between them in such a way that they would be able to transfer Magna to her constantly.

It would be difficult to bring King Eros back and might take up too much of Elliana’s Magna. There was a heavy risk and negative factor in this plan.

If Elliana turned out to be unsuccessful and didn’t bring him back within 10 minutes until Arizona would be kept busy, she might get stuck in that magical realism and then everyone knows that Azrael would get her hands on Elliana easily and might try to accomplish her evil plans.

Pluto sighed as he looked at Queen Azura who was preparing the ritual star with Camere and Ezra.

"Promise me you will come back," Sebastian whispered to Elliana, who smiled at him and nodded her head, her heart racing just at the thought of performing this thing.

This might as well turn out to be the biggest magical trick she was performing today, and she was clear that failing this mission wasn’t even an option.

"Trust me. Keep your love lit in your heart and call me right after the minutes if I don’t return. Your love has the power of bringing me from the dead, this is nothing," Elliana stepped ahead and placed her forehead on his, making the man sigh.

He cupped her cheeks and pressed his lips onto hers.

"Just because you are good at words, you can make me agree to a thing as risky as this," Sebastian said and Elliana smiled.

"You support me because you are madly in love with me," Elliana whispered and Sebastian hummed.

"To the moon and back," he kissed her forehead before stepping away from her and holding her hand, intertwining his fingers with hers.

"When is Caesar coming?" Elliana asked Pluto.

Pluto was about to answer when they felt the male witch’s presence.

"I am here," Caesar said before he bowed to the queen.

"I can’t believe this," Caesar grumbled, making Elliana smile.

"Thank you for coming to help me," Elliana walked to the man before shaking his hand and then looking at her mother.

"My soul is ready to venture into the forbidden regions," Elliana raised her hand, making Nathaniel roll his eyes before he stepped ahead and held her hand, pulling her in for a hug.

"Return with our father, okay?" Nathaniel said, his words surprising Caesar.

When he was asked to make his presence known because he was needed by Pluto and something about Elliana needing his help, he hadn’t thought about what was happening.

"Wait. What do you mean to bring back your father? Is King Eros alive? And why did you say ’our’? Elliana is your sister? How is that possible?" Caesar looked at Pluto for answers who sighed.

"As you can see, we are half-siblings. I am Queen Azura’s daughter. And yes, my father is alive, under some witch’s clutches. I am just going to go and get my father back," Elliana explained briefly before she took off her sandals and nodded at Nathaniel, who nodded back at her.

Nathaniel gazed at Pluto, who stepped forward and placed his hand on Nathaniel’s.

"Maybe joining hands will make it more effective," Pluto said, but Nathaniel shook his head.

"Well, it would but Elliana needs to walk into the circle and she can only keep one hand out if it is for Magna’s absorption. I will hold her hand and you hold mine. Caesar will hold your hand," Nathaniel explained, and they did as he said while Sebastian stayed back.

These ten minutes felt like the longest time in the world.

"Let’s do this," Elliana nodded at Queen Azura, who was probably the most nervous one among everyone because she was risking her daughter’s life and freedom to save her husband.

Elliana held her mother’s trembling hand and smiled reassuringly.

"Trust your daughter, mom. I have had experience of running away from hard situations all my life. If things feel wrong, I will run and come back," Elliana said.

Azura pressed her lips into a thin line before nodding her head.

Elliana sat in the middle of the star design that Azura formed for the ritual before she placed her hand on the crystal ball.

Sebastian clenched his fists as he saw his wife closing her eyes, ready to teleport herself into the magical realism that was her father’s prison.

His phone vibrated and he furrowed his brows. He clearly warned everyone to not call him, especially now because he would be busy. Then who could it be?

Sebastian pulled the phone out of his pocket, looking at the number with a sigh as he picked up the call.

"It better be important," he said the first thing he picked up.

"Why do you think I would call you even when you told everyone to not contact you for an hour? The thing is..." Stephano took a breath.

Sebastian didn’t like the silence at the end of his sentence. It clearly meant something was wrong.

"You messed up," Sebastian said without any hesitation, his gaze shifting to Azura who had started to chant her spells, his fists clenched by his side.

As much as he hated his brother for interrupting this important time when he didn’t want to be disturbed, deep down he was grateful too because he didn’t know how he was going to spend these ten minutes without losing his mind, knowing all too well his wife was risking her life out there.

Stephano scratched his forehead.

"The thing is, just like you asked, I gave orders to my men to keep an eye on Angelo. However, I think he got a gist of what was going on because the next thing I know I got a call from my men that Angelo escaped their sight," Stephano told him everything that happened back in the black market and how his men explained everything to him.

"It was a calculated move from Angelo’s side. It means he was suspicious that we were making a move on him. But exactly how did he find out about this?" Sebastian asked, closing his eyes.

"Did you-"

"I would never do that, Sebastian. I know that we have had our differences and you probably don’t trust me because of our past, but I can swear on my love for my parents that I didn’t do anything," Stephano said before Sebastian could complete his sentence.

Sebastian took a deep breath.

"At least hear me out before you jump to conclusions yourself," Sebastian said, making his brother shut his mouth and wait for what his brother wanted to say.

"What is it?" Stephano asked, his tone still cautious, ready to defend himself if his brother said anything.

"Did you ever put any kind of thing that can be used as a hearing device in the office?" Sebastian asked and Stephano squinted his brows thinking about all the technical things in the room.

"Well, the security cameras were removed from the office after you insisted and apart from your laptop, there isn’t anything that can be used to hear anything," Stephano explained.

"In that case, I want you to personally recheck my office just to be on the safer side and ask your men to keep looking for Angelo while my team is busy with the rogues. I will see what I can do once I return," Sebastian said and Stephano hummed.

"By the way, Grandmother keeps asking about Princess Elliana. What should I tell her? It’s been 12 hours since she left and now you are gone too. After that incident where Princess’s mom came and broke the window, she has been a little worried," Stephano said.

"Tell her I brought her shopping. She went to the university because the finance minister’s son is her friend and she wanted to be with him. Then I took her with me," Sebastian said and Stephano ended the call, making Sebastian look back at his princess as he saw the large violet-colored Magna shield appearing around the star in which Elliana was sitting.

It was finally taking place.
