The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride
Chapter 570: All the things she said.

Chapter 570: All the things she said.

Elliana knew Charlotte had high potential Magna. She didn’t want to do it earlier, but it was important to preserve the Magna since she had forgotten her ninth lock would unlock anytime if her powers got triggered.

"Are you done?" Elliana asked, looking at the panting girl in front of her who was supporting her body on the cubicle’s wall, looking at her with pent-up rage.

"You... What kind of witchcraft are you using on me? Why do I feel like this!" Charlotte nearly screeched and Elliana smiled at her.

"I absorbed the Magna you used in attacking me, so it doesn’t get restored," Elliana said, unapologetically shameless about the fact.

The dean pressed his lips into a thin line when all the shouting and hooting in the audience stopped as they looked at the girl with wide curious eyes.

Did they hear her right? She said she absorbed the powers. How could she do it?

"You... What -"

Elliana smiled at Charlotte’s loss of words.

"However, seeing you panting like this, I don’t feel good anymore. It makes me feel guilty even though I didn’t commit a crime and you didn’t leave any chance to use the hardest attacks on me," Elliana whispered, her words confusing the dean.

"I would like to return the Magna I absorbed from you," She added, and the dean looked at her in realization.

Elliana wanted to return them, but it wasn’t technically possible until she was using that Magna to -

Elliana stepped down from her cubicle that was raised in the air and descended the stairs all the way to the ground before she looked at the audience.

"You wanted to see an interesting fight. I apologize for not being up to the mark," Elliana clicked her fingers, breaking the cubicle Charlotte was in, making the girl fall on the ground with a thud.

Everyone gasped while Elliana stood there, unfazed and unbothered.

"This is for wanting to throw me on the ground," Elliana smiled subtly before looking directly into Charlotte’s eyes.

"Now let’s cover the part where you wanted to beat the sh*t out of me, shall we?" Elliana asked.

The dean gulped and immediately stepped forward. This isn’t right. He can’t allow that.

"Student Elliana," The dean used his mic to catch her attention.

Elliana turned to look at the dean, who shook his head at her and she sighed. This again, why do they make it look like she was some sinner? Why was he acting like she was going to kill the girl? She didn’t want something like that -

"You!" Charlotte screamed, using Elliana’s distraction to her benefit.

Thump! Thump! Elliana’s heart clenched in her chest as Charlotte used her manga to hurt her where Elliana won’t be able to protect herself easily.

However, it wasn’t the part that affected Elliana’s heart. It was mainly her siren powers that felt triggered.

A gasp left Elliana’s mouth when she felt the air around her change, and she clenched her fists, her gaze moving toward the area above her wrist. Her mark was starting to glow. She looked back at the dean, her eyes turning violet immediately.

Was he not going to say anything now? That this was wrong? That this was unethical? Elliana’s eyes waited hopefully for the dean to make his move, do something to tell her this was a fair fight.

She didn’t even turn towards Charlotte. Her gaze was fixated on the dean who felt ashamed of what his student did but didn’t do anything himself.

Charlotte, in her desperation to win and throw down Elliana, forgot one of the rules: you are not allowed to attack from behind if the person in front of you isn’t in battle mode.

But, since Elliana was technically still on the battlefield it wasn’t a penalty point. That’s what the dean thought to keep himself from moving.

However, these penalty points and rules didn’t work when it came to the dark witch queen’s daughter who was on her way to becoming the next queen.

Charlotte gave her all with a scream when she noticed Elliana wasn’t using any shield that would absorb her energies. It meant, this time the lethal attack would hurt her above and beyond. She was already squeezing the girl’s heart, so it would be easy, no?

"Charlotte!" The dean shouted, feeling the negative vibes spreading on the battlefield that was supposed to be a healthy battle to showcase their powers.

The dean immediately rushed forward, Elliana’s gaze not shifting from his movements.

Everyone stood from their seats to see what the dean was doing while the girl just stood there, her back still towards Charlotte.

’Elliana, allow us,’ Circe said, their voice holding a warning, and Elliana looked down at her feet.

’I don’t want to see any bloodshed,’ Elliana whispered.

Circe immediately understood what Elliana meant.

They raised their spiritual hand stopping the thousands of fire blades paired with air that were pure blue, defining how lethal this attack was, right before they could come a few inches closer to Elliana.

It was chaotic and everyone gasped at the sight.

Caesar and Serene, who got out of their battlefield after fighting neck to neck against each other, bowed to each other as a form of respect before moving to the backfield rooms to rest.

The results of their battles were to be announced once both the battles were over. However, both of them knew that Caesar won the battle without a doubt.

As they walked towards the backrooms, Caesar stopped dead in his tracks when he looked at the screen that was displaying the second battle between Elliana and Charlotte.

Right. How could he forget that this mischievous girl was also participating? He stopped to see the kind of moves both the girls were using so that he would be able to counter them well. Though he knew he was the strongest among all, he didn’t want to underestimate his opponent.

However, to his surprise, the girls weren’t even fighting.

While Charlotte was on the ground looking miserable, Elliana was standing with her back to the girl, but what surprised him, even more, was the way those thousands of blades stopped right above Elliana as if some divine energy was protecting her.

"Charlotte really gave her all to this attack. But is this alright? It’s clear Charlotte attacked from behind," Seren commented from behind Caesar, who kept observing Elliana.

There was no shield around her, so they can’t really say that she formed a strong shield that protected her. Were her powers really so strong?

Was there any truth to the fact when the dean said the person he has to be wary of in the entire battle would be this mysterious girl? Caesar kept looking at Elliana, who turned around slowly, obviously knowing how everyone’s attention was on her.

They noticed how the dean stood in front of Charlotte, ready to protect the girl.

"What are you doing?" Elliana asked the dean, her voice bolder and deeper than usual, carrying no emotions at all.

"Elliana, drop it. You don’t want to hurt anyone," the dean said.

Elliana smiled and stepped back before sitting on the stairs of her cubicle. She placed her elbows on her thighs as she looked at everyone with a curious gaze.

"Why? Why didn’t you come to protect me when she attacked me with this trick and almost made my heart burst? I surely was absorbing her powers, but even I am prone to getting hurt. Was it alright for her to attack me like this?" Elliana asked her genuine question, making everyone look at the dean who struggled to answer her.

"Student Elliana, she couldn’t hurt you-"

"Will I ever be accepted into this University? Since day one I have been treated like some kind of abomination was forced here.

Heck, Yaretzi taught me more things than this University alone, and you guys have the nerve to enquire about my ethnicity whenever I come here to train.

All the things she said have been running through my head and making me question my self-worth. Was it alright for her to say those things to me?" Elliana asked again.

A scoff left her mouth as she shook her head.

She made a mistake coming here. A big mistake that she would correct now.
