Chapter 522: Call me mom
Chapter 522: Call me mom
After meeting Arizona with a pale face, Leila rushed to a random forest and puked the contents of her lunch.
She couldn’t digest the horror of what Arizona was planning.
Were these guys for real? Does life mean nothing to them?
She always thought that Azura was the cruelest of all of them because of how she gave the punishments and how she would rather kill everyone with one strike than use her efforts. She always thought that Azura made the best use of her dark magic.
But now that she looked at Arizona’s evil side, she didn’t know what to believe anymore.
Was this really supposed to be a white witch queen? With these kinds of horrific ideas? Hadn’t the former witch queen divided the powers and the Kingdom’s Queen based on their characters? Why was a White Witch Queen this evil? She was supposed to bring the light to the witch world, but she was even darker than a black magic Witch.
This was pure madness.
No, it wasn’t just madness. Leila puked more as she thought about the evil death machine that Arizona was using in that room, collecting evil magna from the death of evil people. Death of a person, that to be a person with these kinds of evil intentions, was the darkest of all energies, and to say she collected the Magna of 1500 people.
The energy was enough to kill a queen with a snap of fingers.
Leila’s body trembled as she fell to the ground because of the aftereffects.
The smell of that evil energy was so toxic that it was making her insides churn like this. But Arizona looked perfectly fine even though she was coming in and out of the room repeatedly.
Leila shook her head as tears brimmed her eyes.
It was a mistake. She should’ve never come to these sisters.
It was just a simple thing. She hated Azura and wanted to take over the witch kingdom from where she was thrown by the queen, but now seeing all this horror, she didn’t know if she would ever be anything in comparison to them.
They all were mad.
Leila stood from her place and used her magic to go to Azura.
The witch would probably lash at her for even appearing in front of her, but if she didn’t do anything for this kind of horror that her sister was planning against Azura and her daughter, she would never be able to look at herself in the mirror.
Leila vanished from her place, locating Azura, pausing abruptly.
To her surprise, Azura was in the same place as Elliana, and she contemplated going there.
Though Elliana has never attacked her uselessly, she wasn’t someone who could be blindly trusted either, not after she almost lost her control in the fight and had almost unlocked her true potential if not for those rogues who hit her head.
Leila sighed.

Meanwhile, in the hospital room, Azura looked at Elliana with beaming eyes, making the girl look at Nathaniel, who shook his head at her to indicate to her to not react.
"Seriously? What do you want? You are creeping me now," Elliana said nonetheless as Azura kept looking at her.
"Mom. Call me mom," Azura whispered, hope brewing in her eyes as she looked at her daughter.
Elliana quirked her brows and looked at Nathaniel. She has had enough of this. She was already suffering from a gruesome headache, she didn’t need more frustrations on her end.
"What is this woman talking about? Why would I call her mom? She still hasn’t made amends with me, explained things, or even apologized properly," Elliana asked, Azura’s expression immediately changed, when she heard her daughter saying ’this woman’ again.
"Nathaniel," Azura looked at the man, expecting him to ask Elliana so the girl could listen to him and call her mom.
Nathaniel rolled his eyes.
"Can you guys sort it out between yourselves? Why are you bringing me into this mess? I am not even your real son or your real brother. Can you guys stop?" Nathaniel groaned, making Elliana pout.
"Why would you say something like that?" Elliana whispered and was about to add more when the door opened and Sebastian, who had been talking to the doctors earlier, came back with some medicines in his hand.
As soon as he entered and heard his Princess’s uneven heartbeat, he raised his gaze and looked straight into her eyes.
She had just woken up a few minutes ago and Sebastian had gone out to talk to doctors about her condition at that time.
"How are you feeling, Princess?" Sebastian walked to her before he brushed his knuckles against her cheeks, tugging her hair behind her ears.
"I told you I wouldn’t be able to bear it if something happened to you. Why do you do things like this? Can you not take care of yourself? You know my heart is beating only because you are alive now. You turned me from a dead body into a living being with emotions. How could you make my heart almost stop?" Sebastian asked before he bent and kissed her forehead, making her smile.
Nathaniel and Lucas - "..." Can you be any less cheesy?
"Are things taken care of? How are you planning on cleaning everything?" Elliana asked rather than commenting on that, and Sebastian sighed.
"Your mom helped us clean everything," He said, looking at the lady, who was looking between him and her daughter.
"You mean this lady?" Elliana asked, and Azura’s eyes immediately drooped with disappointment.
Azura knew coaxing Elliana would be hard, and she was ready to wait for as long as her daughter wanted, but hearing the word ’Mom’ from her mouth, and then hearing ’this woman’ again didn’t settle well with her.
She didn’t want to blame her daughter for it. After all, her actions were the reason behind her animosity. Thus, she stood from her place, ready to leave.
"I... I actually brought these herbs for you from the royal Kingdom. Rather than these human medicines, you will heal quicker if you take these medicines. I hope you get well soon. There are things that I need to attend... So... " Azura let her sentence trail off, looking at her daughter expectantly.
However, when Elliana didn’t make any move to stop her, she took it as her queue to leave and sighed.
"I will be off then," Azura smiled at Nathaniel whose expression turned solemn when he looked at the witch queen.
It was true that he despised her for a lot of things, but he never despised her as a mother. From the moment she realized her relationship with Elliana, she has done nothing but think about her welfare only.
It’s like she has made Elliana her entire life and existence. She has even forgotten about her husband whom she needed to look for. She was only focusing on keeping her daughter safe. Thus, seeing her sad even after trying so hard, he couldn’t bear it and looked at Elliana.
"Don’t you think you are crossing the line now, Elliana? Be thoughtful of others too, will you? Is it so hard to say the word? Shouldn’t you be grateful that your mom is alive?" Nathaniel asked, and Elliana looked at him before quirking her brows.
"Crossing my line? How exactly?" She asked.
"Don’t pretend to be dumb when we know you are not. You clearly understand what I am talking about," Nathaniel said.
"I don’t. Please enlighten me," Elliana said.
"Why are you making things tough for her? Can you not forgive her? Do you even have any idea what she did for you? What has she been doing for you? How much she is -"
"Stop right there," Elliana’s words made Nathaniel stop.
Nathaniel glared at Elliana and stepped ahead, ready to knock some sense into his so-called friend and sister.
Seeing his dark gaze, Sebastian looked at Nathaniel, ready to attack if he tried something.
"Why are you getting angry? Tell me. She is not your mother, is she?" Elliana asked, her voice turning cold.
"Nathaniel, please don’t fight with her because of me. I don’t want you -" Azura started.
"You should not interfere and speak between us," Elliana said to Azura, making the witch look down, sitting in her place, despite her wounds.
"Elliana!" Nathaniel raised his voice.
"I said stop it!!" Elliana raised her voice too, the tears brimming in her eyes shocking the three of them.
