Chapter 513: Blue’s life in danger

"You dared to lay a hand on me?" Sebastian smirked as he looked around at the rogue vampires who were baring their teeth at him before a chuckle left his mouth.

Lucas immediately looked at their spy army and nodded at them to not worry about their King. He was more than capable of handling this situation himself.

"Sir -" Lucas started as he tried to fight back the rogue vampires and reach his king. The sense of deja vu hit him, and he tried his best to stay out of any rogue vampire’s mouth.

The princess wasn’t going to come this time to save them. He shook his head at his own thoughts.

"Stay away from me for the time being, Lucas," Sebastian said before he grabbed the hand of one of the rogues and twisted it, pulling it away from his body, making blood splash on other rogues who immediately paused and stepped back to look at the monster in front of them.

Sebastian wiped the blood from above his mask before smirking as his beast’s hunger for blood increased even more.

"I forgot to bring my daggers today. I guess, I will just have to form a few from your bones," Sebastian raised his gaze at the rogues before he broke the arm in two and practically pulled all the muscles away from it until only bones were left in his hand.

"Quite sharp, I must say," He whispered to himself, and then without a warning, he started attacking the rogues one by one, plunging their chests, abdomens, and heads whatever he could, like a monster in his playfield.

Abramo looked at his grandson and didn’t know if he really needed to be afraid of these rogue vampires who were attacking the kingdom, or his grandson who was taking his monstrous form.

The prophecy of him being the one to destroy the vampire Kingdom immediately came to his mind, and he shook his head.

Right now wasn’t the time to think about it.

Prince Stephano, Marcus, and Santo reached shortly, and the scene in front of them made them wonder if their brother really needed their assistance.

To them, Sebastian looked like the death God roaming in the fields offering deaths to rogue vampires.

However, it wasn’t just one side winning the fight.

Though Sebastian was taking care of quite a few rogue vampires because rogue vampires were powerless against him, it doesn’t mean his team wasn’t having a hard time.

"Blue!" Harry shouted when he saw one of the rogue vampires plunging their fangs into her hands and the girl screaming in pain and agony.

"Don’t come here! You won’t be able to save me anymore, Harry. It’s... It’s the end for me," Blue screamed, tears rolling down her cheeks when another rogue vampire bit into her shoulders, followed by other vampires.

Tears welled in Harry’s eyes who was already fighting the rogue vampires.

Lucas heard Harry’s yelling, and he turned to the direction where Blue was now getting attacked by 7 rogue vampires who were using her to replenish their energies.

His hands clenched by his side before he grabbed a random wooden stick and threw it at them.

"7 rogues attacking a woman? Do you dare to attack me, you motherf*ckers?! You bas*ards!" Lucas shouted, a wail of agony leaving his mouth when one of the rogue vampires plunged a dagger in his back from behind him and he fell to his knees when the rogue yanked the dagger back.

"Lucas!" Prince Santo immediately rushed into the fight and twisted the neck of the rogue who attacked Sebastian’s subordinate.

"Are you okay?" Prince Marcus asked, and Lucas spat blood before grinning at the princes.

"Do I look okay to you, Prince Marcus?" Lucas seethed through his pain before placing his hand on his knees and standing back.

He started walking back to the field to aid his team when Stephano held his forearm.

"What are you doing? You obviously need to lie down. Go into one of the resting tents!" Prince Stephano ordered Lucas.

"I can’t. I can’t leave my king like this," Lucas shook his head.

Stephano’s eyes drooped low, and he held Lucas’s collar, making the subordinate swing in his place.

"He is not just your king. He is my brother too. I promise you that nothing will happen to him. You standing here will only make things difficult for him. Your blood is going to attract more rogue vampires his way. So just leave. Get it wrapped. And once you feel you can fight again, come back. But I think we will be done by then," Prince Stephano said, and Lucas, who was barely able to stand properly, looked at his Prince who was fighting ten rogue vampires in a single go.

"I don’t want to go. He needs me. It’s a good thing if I attract vampires my way. They will come for me, and my king will be able to fight them easily. In fact, I will give my blood to my King who will replenish his energy," Lucas looked at the Princes resolutely, and Stephano was about to speak again when his eyes went wide.

He looked behind Lucas and took a deep shaky breath, making other princes and Lucas turn to look at what it was.

For Lucas, it wasn’t as surprising as it was for other princes as they saw Sebastian’s eyes turning dark red with hints of Black circling his red irises, and Stephano looked at Lucas for an explanation.

"It’s just his beast side taking over. It’s still not his devil who wants to reign. There is nothing to worry about. It’s quite normal," Lucas said.

Stephano felt ashamed for a second. Even for his brother’s so-called normal phenomena, he had to consult his subordinate.

Sebastian heard Blue’s screams and was about to rush to her side when he saw three more spies getting attacked.

He turned towards Lucas who was bleeding profusely, and his anger rose even more.

"You dare to hurt my people!" Sebastian rushed to Blue first and removed the vampires from her before he grabbed the girl and raised her in the sky.

He wanted to take the girl towards Stephano so she could be taken to the relief camps, but as soon as he picked her up, the smell of her hot blood gushing out of her body wafted through his nostrils and his nose flared, making his jaws immediately ache as his fangs started to elongate.

His pupils dilated and the nerves in his forehead strained as her senses recognized her fast-beating heart and hot blood, wanting to drink from her.

Blue, who was losing consciousness, looked at her King with a soft smile when she saw the strain in his eyes.

She didn’t need to be told what it was and a sacrificial smile appeared on her face.

"It’s okay, sir. If you want, you can drink from me. I had already accepted my death when those vampires bit into me," a tear rolled from the corner of Blue’s eyes, and Sebastian looked at the girl who was one of the best spies he had and he clenched his jaws before bringing his face close to her neck.

Everyone looked at the scene in horror as they saw their King losing control.

As much as Sebastian needed to be strong to be able to fight these rogue vampires, and a vampire’s blood was what he needed, they didn’t want him to lose his control and create controversies either.

However, as soon as Sebastian brought his face close to her neck, he paused.

Be prepared to take your punishment as soon as you get better," Sebastian snarled in his ears before he used his vampire speed and pushed the girl into Stephano’s arms before going back to fighting the rogues and saving his people from getting bitten, shocking everyone with his control.

Sebastian’s beast hummed at him proudly.

"It’s amazing how she is saving us even when she isn’t here," the beast said, and Sebastian hummed.

"And I wonder how long will I be able to hold back from hurting and feeding from my people, and how long will she be able to hold back herself from coming here," Sebastian sighed.
