The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride -
Chapter 456: The hint
Chapter 456: The hint
’You don’t know how life is going to be,
I found you, and your life won’t be sweet honey anymore,
Ohhh baby, let me cut some slack and warn you,
Not like a song on the radio, it would be a heavy base ringing your world,
A death song I would sing in your ears, and you decide how you will survive and rise above the horizon.
I might be the devil of your life but you are the Satan of mine.
I am letting go, but you have to hold on tighter.
Sins to zero, ohhh, you are a sinner no one knows,
ohhh, you will change the history,
And I wanna watch it all, your thoughts of despair,
Ohhhh, only pills of anguish help you, the doses of self-destruction allow you to rise higher, while you embrace the demons,
The seasons will pass by, hold onto that part that calls out for you, ohhh’ The siren sang, closing her eyes as tears of blood dropped from her eyes.
It was the biggest hint she could give to Elliana on this road that was leading her to miseries and her end.
It wasn’t allowed. She wasn’t allowed to sing the future to anyone, but she wanted to do it for this girl. She wanted to do it because it was the only right thing that her heart said.
That vampire’s words stung her heart.
Did she not feel any sympathy for Elliana? Of course, she did. If it had been anyone else, she would’ve snatched her powers long ago, regardless of whether she was good or bad, lived or died.
However, it was all Elliana’s love and care towards her people, but more than that, it was her resilience to live and spread love even when she was thrown only hatred that she stopped for so long.
Elliana had thousands of reasons to use her witch powers on her human family and kill them all after she found out the truth, but the fact she didn’t say it all. That was how good her heart was, and maybe that was why she wanted to see it.
She wanted to see the girl change history.
If not her, then she didn’t know if anyone would be able to end this animosity between all the species.
What started from a curse because of one witch who fell in love with a royal vampire, needed to end with the healing of another witch who fell in love with his son.
The siren sighed, wiping the tears of blood, raising her gaze when she felt a weird dark energy around her.
She looked around herself, her gaze settling on the dark witch at some distance, who was also observing Elliana and Sebastian, and her eyes turned blue immediately.
"This witch - what the -Damn it!" The siren stopped when she realized what this witch was probably doing there.
She turned around and jumped from the tree, running away from the place as fast as she could to save herself from being seen.
Now wasn’t the time to reveal her identity to anyone, especially an evil witch who was doing everything in her power to let history repeat in her own twisted way.
The siren gulped.
It was more important now to take away her siren powers from Elliana. If not, this witch would use her for something that would destroy her powers forever, and she wouldn’t be able to save her people ever or continue the legacy.
Meanwhile, Elliana, who was sleeping on the bed and heard the melody in her ears, smiled softly.
She didn’t know what this song meant, who sang this song to her, or if it was her powers or anyone else, but for some reason, it was soothing to her heart and she snuggled closer to Sebastian, who was reading the documents on his phone.
He looked down at his wife, a soft smile appearing on his lips as the crease on his forehead evened. He turned off the screen and placed the phone on the nightstand before pulling her even closer.
"Princess," he whispered, he kissed her temple softly, enjoying the feel of her warm hands flattening on his chest.
"Mmm?" Elliana hummed softly.
"Now that I think about it, we didn’t complete our 5-time quota of lovemaking. I didn’t say anything earlier because you were mourning, but now that you are snuggling close to me, I feel like you are tempting me to do it," Sebastian whispered in her ears and Elliana moaned before rubbing her nose on his shirt like a cat.
"I have an exam tomorrow, Mr. Marino," Elliana whispered back before she turned around from him, making him scowl.
In a swift motion, he appeared on the other side of the bed so she could hug him again while she turned on her left side.
Elliana blinked her eyes open, looking at him with squinted brows.
"Don’t turn your back on me, Cara," Sebastian said, his eyes dangerously scarlet.
She knew not to say anything to provoke him whenever his beast started to act, and thus, she just sighed before lifting her lips and kissing his chin.
"I wasn’t turning my back on you, Mr. Marino," Elliana whispered into his ears.
"It was an opportunity you missed," she blinked at him innocently, making his pupils dilate, and he groaned.
"I am sorry, Cara, please turn your back to me," Sebastian immediately groaned again, making her giggle softly.
"I have to wake up early in the morning to revise a few things. Let me sleep," Elliana said, and Sebastian sighed, giving up as he pulled her closer.
"The least you can do is sleep naked with me, Princess. The touch of your butter-soft skin will compensate me a little for not being able to be buried inside you, then again, I don’t think I would be able to control it if you sleep naked. Huh... What kind of magic have you wrapped me in?" Sebastian whispered, and Elliana’s heart skipped a beat at the word ’magic’.

After a couple of days, as soon as Elliana got out of the exam hall, she was welcomed by none other than Daniel, who looked like he wanted to talk to her.
"Hey," He whispered and Elliana smiled before nodding.
"Hey?...." She trailed off, confused.
"So... Uh... Do you know that the girl, the princess of the hunter’s bloodline is dead?" Daniel approached the topic with caution.
He had been trying to talk to Elliana ever since, but she always ran away as soon as the exam was over, making it hard for him to catch her.
Elliana bobbed her head up and down.
"Not just dead, she was practically shredded," Elliana said.
Daniel’s lips twitched at the nonchalance in her voice.
"Did you do it?" He went straight to the point.
She looked at him flabbergasted.
"That’s some wild guess you are making, Daniel. Why would you -"
"We have met your bodyguards, Elliana. That image of him ripping off that girl’s heart is still fresh in my head. Besides, I saw her taking you away with not the best expression. So I am guessing something went down between you two, your guardian heard of it and took down the girl?" Daniel asked and Elliana shook her head.
She hated how observant he was to connect the dots so easily, but this time he was wrong.
"My guardian won’t ever do that. He is a vampire, remember? And aren’t vampires trying to maintain the peace with that hunter bloodline? Isn’t that why that marriage happened in the first place?" Elliana asked, remembering how Mr. Marino asked her to not do anything that would bring problems between them.
However, now that she thought about it, who did her so badly? There was no doubt that it wasn’t a human, and for some reason, she was sure that it was someone who was related to her, so who could it be?
"Ohh, is that what that young master Sebastian is telling you? That he is in a marriage of convenience and he will leave his bride after the crowning ceremony and hold your hand?" Drake was the one to speak this time as Samantha and Melony joined them.
Elliana felt awkward with his question. How was she supposed to answer them that the bride they were talking about was her only? And that he won’t hold her hand again after leaving her?
"He isn’t. I have been looking into things -"
"To give wings to your fantasy of loving a married prince? That’s not what we expected from you, Elliana," Alcinder’s words came next, and she clenched her jaws.
She didn’t understand why they were prying into her privacy today.
"And I don’t see why it’s always the girl’s fault. Shouldn’t that married man have thought about his marriage before approaching her? She didn’t even know who he was. And love sees no boundaries," Samantha sided with Elliana, and the latter smiled at her thankfully.
"Don’t worry, guys, I am not a homewrecker. In fact, I might not even stay after this semester. I will leave in a week or so," Elliana smiled, shocking everyone with her choice of words.
"What did you say? You are leaving?"
Elliana froze in her place when she heard the familiar voice and she gulped before turning around.
"Dexter, that’s not -" She couldn’t complete her sentence when he disappeared using his vampire speed, and she closed her eyes with a dejected sigh.
That wasn’t how she was planning on telling him this.
