Chapter 441: Kill her

"How many times do I need to explain the same shit to you, Madeline?" Elliana asked, licking her lower lip like a monster, ready to attack and devour her alive.

"Honestly, I know that you are not even interested in the man himself but the powers he holds in the vampire Kingdom. And now with the nearing ceremony, you would want to find any chance to get close to him," Elliana whispered to her before smirking.

Her heart thumped loudly, feeling a strange fear running through her veins that she had never felt before. It was something that she didn’t even feel when she faced those royal vampires. So what was this feeling that was clogging her heart and rendering her unable to breathe?

Madeline could see that the girl standing in front of her was nothing like the girl she had known all her life, and she cursed the time when she thought she would be able to come and pacify Elliana to do their dirty work.

Elliana grabbed a fistful of Madeline’s hair, making her scalp ache with immense pain as a whimper left her mouth.

Madeline gasped at the pain that shot across her entire body. Tears rolled down her eyes. She wanted to scream for help, but they had come so far that unless the person was a Vampire, no one would hear him.

It was like hammering one’s own foot. She had thought that she would take Elliana far away and would be able to tame her into accepting her orders, but who would’ve thought that the tables would turn around like this?

Madeline’s lower lips trembled as Elliana’s hold on her hair tightened once again before she yanked her head backward.

Elliana’s other hand reached her throat. She wrapped her hand around her neck, one finger at a time, her gaze becoming even darker and Madeline looked straight into Elliana’s eyes, feeling like death was looking at her today.

"However, amidst all this, one thing stays as it should be. He is mine, Madeline. Do you want the power? Go fuck some other prince. I don’t give two damn what you do, but that man, that piece of specimen is mine and no one else’s," Elliana hissed in her ears before she pulled back and smiled at the girl.

"And I am ready to do anything to have that man, even if it means killing someone," Elliana continued.

She twisted the girl’s body, kicking the back of Madeline’s legs, and making her kneel on the ground before she threw Madeline flat on the ground, making her land with the side of her head hitting the soiled ground.

Madeline looked at Elliana in horror. She wanted her body to move, but it was like some divine otherworldly powers were holding her down.

At the same time, Kadakali, who felt Elliana’s increasing powers and her losing her control over her emotions, clicked her hands and a crystal ball appeared in front of her.

"What are you doing?" Prakrith walked to Kadakali when she saw her anxious face and tried to look into her crystal ball.

But before Prakrith could see anything, she felt her goosebumps rising and her pupils dilated.

Was something wrong with the environment of some particular area? Prakrith thought and was about to click her fingers to bring her crystal ball when she paused.

"Elliana?" She whispered one word, and it immediately caught Kadakali’s attention.

"Something is wrong. She is angry. Beyond angry," Kadakali said with tears in her eyes as she felt Elliana’s hurt and angry emotions in her heart.

"And what do you think you are going to do? Are you thinking of helping her? But how can you even think that? We are bound for Arizona, Kadakali. And she isn’t -" Prakrith started, but Kadakali’s eyes turned golden, and the indication stopped her from speaking anything further.

"Well, I don’t see her here, Prakrith. As a matter of fact, I haven’t seen her for quite some time. Who was the one who entrusted us with taking care of Elliana and asked us to ensure she doesn’t cross her limits of powers?" Kadakali asked.

Prakrith looked at the witch in front of her and pressed her lips into a thin line.

It was clear that unlike her, who could sense the environment and the aura of the people around her, Kadakali hadn’t felt any disturbance in the inner circle between those powerful witches.

Something was happening between Nathaniel and Arizona, and it wasn’t anywhere near good. Not to mention how Azura arrived for the first time in their Himalayan palace and demanded where Arizona was.

The vibes she was oozing weren’t great either, and it clearly felt like she was there to get some kind of animosity sorted her or probably even hurt Arizona if possible.

"I don’t care what is happening around us, Prakrith. You don’t get it, do you? I have built an affinity with the girl after caring for her for so long. I can’t see her turning evil because of something that’s not in her control," Kadakali said, her eyes moist with her own emotions now.

"Maybe it doesn’t mean anything to the four of you, but I want her back. I want the same girl back who used to get surprised by even a small sudden bubble in the water she was playing with. That Elliana, that innocent Elliana who didn’t -"

Prakrith’s scoff stopped Kadakali from saying anything further.

"You mean the same Elliana, who used to sit back and take the bullying as severe as getting her entire body burnt into that same hot water in her bathroom? The same Elliana who was thrown from the third floor in a fit of anger?" Prakrith’s words made Kadakali sigh.

"I don’t know. I honestly don’t know if this change is for good," Kadakali said before looking back at her crystal ball, her pupils dilating when she saw Elliana taking a sharp wooden stick that she was about to plunge into Madeline’s body.

"Damn it!" Kadakali shouted in pure horror.

No. No. She can’t let this happen. She can’t let her good girl become a monster just like them. No. She won’t allow it. Kadakali raised her hand in the air to stop Elliana.

Meanwhile, Madeline, who was standing in front of Elliana widened her eyes in shock.

There was no way this girl was serious, right?

"What did you say?" Elliana asked, urging Madeline to repeat her words.

Madeline wanted to spit the same words again. She wanted to tell her that just like her mother was a mistress, Elliana would resort to nothing more than that. That the vampire prince will throw her after using her thoroughly and she will ensure that humans don’t take her back and she becomes a public woman.

She wanted to curse Elliana with the same words again, and she gulped, stepping back in shock when she saw Elliana picking a wooden stick and breaking it from the middle.

"What would you make me, Madeline? Come again?" Elliana asked, and Madeline smiled evilly, trying to gain control.

She didn’t want to lose it when she could see Elliana was getting affected because she was standing with a wooden stick in her hand.

But of course, she wouldn’t really do that, right? The girl was probably taking revenge for what her mother did to her, but she won’t get too severe, right?

"I said what I said. Do you really think anyone would accept a girl like you, Elliana? Stop being delusional. You are nothing more than a spec of dirt and a tool of pleasure for those men. I bet if anyone even wants to see you alive. So why don’t you just die?" Madeline asked.

Elliana couldn’t say anything. Maybe because the last sentence Madeline said hit home and her heart clenched painfully.

Tears brimmed her eyes once more as she remembered that nothing Madeline said was wrong. It was the reality of her life. No one wanted her to be alive.

Even Mr. Marino might want her dead when he hears about her true identity.

However, in all this reality, she didn’t need a girl like Madeline to show her the mirror.

"I wish you hadn’t said those words, Madeline. I really didn’t want to show a demonstration of what I could really do. But you leave me with no choice," Elliana pouted her lips, her eyes showing anything but innocence.

"You have a really filthy mouth, Madeline. You hurt people without even trying, no? Thus, it’s better if I cut this mouth of yours for once and all and save everyone some pain, no?" Elliana asked before she flickered her gaze to the ground before looking back at Madeline, her eyes almost turning back to a golden shade of amber.

"It’s better I kill you today," Elliana whispered before she threw the stick in the air, gripping it at a new angle as it came down.

"Woah, Elliana, have you lost your mind? What are you -" Madeline gasped when she saw Elliana raising her hand and bringing it down into full swing.

However, before the stick could touch her body, someone held it in mid-air.

Elliana’s eyes immediately went back to normal as she gazed into the eyes of the familiar man.

All the emotions she was feeling and suppressing came crashing back.

"Lose it," he said two words, and Madeline sighed in relief.
