Chapter 432: Anxiety attack

Chapter 432: Anxiety attack

As soon as Elliana reached the room, she fell on the carpet, tears flowing down her eyes.

It was like the aftermath of all the aggression she felt earlier which was now followed by the dark reality of her life and the sorrows that were becoming her permanent expression.

Her heart ached terribly. It almost felt like someone stabbed her heart and took away her only purpose to live.

She sat with her knees close to her chest, her mind still in disbelief. Was it for real? Did her mother really want to kill her? She was one of those people who wanted to hurt her and use her for their benefit?

She could’ve taken this betrayal from anyone, but her mom? Her fingers trembled just at the thought of it.

Everything started to make sense to her. That connection, that feeling of belongingness and familiarity even when she didn’t know her at that time. Everything was making sense now. Her powers probably recognized their birth body.

But what now?

What was she supposed to do now? Finding her mom and dad after leaving this palace was the only reason she was coaxing herself that she would be able to survive. That she would survive this heartbreak of leaving Mr. Marino if she kept busy with one purpose in her life- finding her family.

She thought she would dedicate her life to finding her family, and once she would find them, she would try to give them a good life, a life that she always dreamt of. And she would live all the moments she couldn’t.

She was planning to stay angry, but not for long since she didn’t want to waste any more time.

But what was she supposed to do now?

Her dreams broke like a piece of glass, and while there was no noise of breaking her heart, it felt like it was bleeding terribly.

How was she supposed to live with everything? Was living even worth it anymore?

Her Mr. Marino would leave her because she was a dark witch, her mom wanted to kill her because she wanted to bring back her husband, her dad was God knows where, and who knows if he wanted her alive either or not, and Nathaniel? His life was only becoming troublesome because of her.

All purpose of her life was taken away from her today.

Her hope at love, her hope at peace, happiness, a new life filled with less miseries, everything was taken away from her.

’Why does it only happen to me? Why am I the only one suffering? What kind of fate is this?’ Elliana whimpered as she lay on her side of the carpet, holding her head between her hands.

She wanted to stop. All these questions that were roaming her mind like people pointing fingers at her and laughing at her fate, she wanted to stop it all.

’Hahah, that’s what happens when you try to be a good person when darkness is your reality,’ it was her own self, mocking her today.

’Please stop it. I don’t want to think of anything anymore. My head is hurting, please stop,’ Elliana said, her heart squeezing painfully.

’Aaaaaaaaaa!’ she screamed loudly.

Today, she didn’t care about anything at all. She clenched her fist around her chest, trying to take all the pain out in her screams.

’Aaaaaaaaaaa!" Elliana shouted again, crying like she lost everything.

Circe, who had already formed a shield around her so that her screams didn’t go out, and she wouldn’t have to explain to anyone why she was having a breakdown, felt bad for their human counterpart, who was breaking.

’’Aaaaaaaaaa! Why me? Why only me! Why the hell it’s always me!" Elliana shouted at the top of her lungs, hitting the ground with her fists until she felt like she would lose her voice.

Elliana gulped, her hands clenching around her throat, finding it hard to breathe as her anxiety started taking over, making her gasp for air.

’Elliana, breathe!’ Circe shouted at her, and Elliana gulped, clenching her throat even harder to ease the pain, her body shaking terribly.

’Fucking breathe, princess!’ Circe shouted again, looking at their human counterpart in horror.

If this continued, she would really not supply any oxygen to the brain, and - Circe didn’t even want to think about what would happen if this continued.

They felt helpless and didn’t know what to do in a situation like this.

They wanted to call Nathaniel so badly using their powers, but Elliana clearly didn’t want to see him. Who else could they call who would handle her anxiety and -

Circe gulped. There was only one person who could help her now.

With a deep sigh, Circe lifted the shield from around Elliana.

’I don’t want to die. Not before these eight days are over,’ Elliana whimpered, her hands clenching her dress in her fists.

Circe felt emotional, seeing her suffering like this and they did the only thing they could do in the moment.

They exerted their aura to the fullest to bring Sebastian down as soon as possible, even after they knew they were taking a big risk.

’Please kill me. I can’t take it anymore. This pain is too much. I...’ Elliana tried to channel what she was feeling, her mind getting confused with what she wanted as it started to go numb, and black dots started appearing in her vision.

’If I die today, don’t let anyone help me. My own mom wants me dead anyway. My foster family never loved me and used me as a scapegoat for their doings. I thought my real parents would love me, but they wanted to use me too. If I am nothing more than a commodity, what use are my emotions living for anyone?’ Elliana whispered, stopping her struggle to breathe as she lay on the ground, silent tears rolling down the corner of her eyes.

"Princess! What the fuck!" She heard a familiar voice, her gaze meeting with Nathaniel, who immediately picked her in his arms and rocked her back and forth, trying to snap her out of the emotions she was feeling.

"Snap, baby. Snap out of it," Nathaniel whispered into her ears.

"Give her to me," Pluto urged when he looked at what was happening with the girl.

He felt guilty now. He always thought that Nathaniel was uselessly delaying things, but seeing how she took it, he now understood why it was important for her to be emotionally stable first.

The poor girl was already suffering from a mild heartbreak because she knew she would have to leave her love soon and now this... He felt stupid.

"Don’t fucking come closer!" Nathaniel roared at Pluto, making him nod.

He understood why Nathaniel was so angry.

"Please, Nath. I beg you. This is the only way I can repent for my actions too. What she needs is psychic help. She needs her mind to stop thinking that her life is useless now, and it’s better to kill or die," Pluto said, and Nathaniel clenched his teeth.

He placed his princess on the bed.

"You better make it right," he seethed.

Pluto was about to touch her forehead to calm her down and ease her pain when the door of the room burst open.

"What the fuck is happening here?! Hey away from her before I rip your heart open!" They heard a beastly voice, and Nathaniel closed his eyes in frustration.

The timing!
