The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride
Chapter 344: Samantha’s miseries

Chapter 344: Samantha’s miseries

"Elliana, don’t panic. We will do something," Samantha felt bad for her friend who was in this position because of her.

No matter if the attackers were there for her or someone else, for some reason, she was the one getting targeted all the time.

Elliana smiled forcefully at Samantha to let her know everything was fine when the truth was- she hated it. She hated every minute of this vampire touching her hand, and the blade was making her feel dizzy now.

Her powers were calm because they understood she couldn’t reveal her identity at the moment, but it didn’t calm the turmoil in her heart.

She felt restless, and the only person she wanted to see now was her husband. She wanted him here. If she had known something like this would happen, she would have never sent him away.

If he had been here, none of these vampires would’ve dared to touch her.

"Mr. Marino," Elliana whispered as her heart clenched painfully with sadness. She missed him. Her eyes brimmed with tears, and she looked down.

"Awwww, is the human crying?" The vampire holding her hand said, and Elliana bit her lower lips to control her sobs that were itching to come out.

"Elliana, please don’t cry. We will think of -"

Pat! The sound of the slap echoed in the hall

"Samantha!" Alcinder shouted, his eyes turning red.

The vampire holding Samantha slapped hard across her face.

"How dare you lay a hand on her!" Alcinder kicked the vampire holding him before taking out his dagger and throwing it at the man, who dared to slap her, the blade going straight through the vampire’s heart, making him drop dead.

He was about to rush to Samantha when he heard another scream.

"Aaaaa!" Elliana screamed when the vampire sliced her hand, making Alcinder freeze in his place.

He looked between Elliana and Samantha, confused and contemplating, his heart in turmoil.

Samantha was a vampire, as long as they didn’t touch her head and heart, she would heal from any wound with some treatments, but Elliana? She was a human and would bleed to death at this pace.

"What are you looking at me for? Save your woman!" Elliana hissed as she placed her hand on the cut to stop the bleeding, which was obviously a failed attempt.

"I... But what about you?" Samantha asked, her lower lip trembling as they were themselves in a tough spot.

"Nothing will happen to me," Elliana whispered.

Mr. Marino won’t let anything happen to her.

He promised. He promised her he would always protect her.

"Well, isn’t this ugly species a bit too confident," the man said before plunging the dagger deeper, and Elliana gasped.

Around one cm of the dagger went into the side of her neck. She coughed loudly, the pain in her neck, almost bringing her to her knees.

"Elli-" Alcinder started, but one of the men suddenly snapped Samantha’s hand and Alcinder growled at the man.

"Aaaaa!" Samantha shouted.

Alcinder immediately ran in his fiancee’s direction finally making up his mind, but before he could reach them, around ten Vampires stood in front of him.

"Don’t touch her!" Alcinder looked at the man who raised his hand and grabbed Samantha’s hair.

"Well, you guys keep him busy. I might as well start with our main mission," The man said, and he looked at his subordinate who took his place as the leader walked to Samantha.

The leader grabbed Samantha’s hair before slamming her face into the wall as hard as he could. He hit the back of her leg, making her kneel and sprain before he twisted Samantha’s hands.

Everything happened so fast that it was hard to comprehend if what they saw was even real or not.

Samantha didn’t even get the time to scream her pain out.

Elliana froze in her place, her eyes as wide as saucers as her heart skipped a beat before it shot to the maximum pace it could go.

They saw their friend’s body swaying back and forth while Alcinder released an earth-shattering growl.

Everything felt like it stopped for a moment. One moment she was standing in front of them, and the next moment there was blood on the floor all around her.

"Samantha!" Elliana screamed in horror, tears rolling down her eyes.

Melony trembled in her place.

"Leave me! I will kill you all," Drake shouted in agony. They couldn’t care about what these vampires would do to them anymore. They already crossed their limits when they touched Samantha’s hair.

"Well, that’s a mess," the leader looked up with a grin, which immediately froze in its place when he saw Alcinder’s eyes. They promised nothing but death.

Everyone lost control of their emotions when they saw Samantha’s distorted face as she fell backward on the ground.

The leader kicked her abdomen, the sickening sound of her ribs breaking, making Elliana’s hand tremble in shock, fear, and anger.

"Stop it! You will kill her at this rate!" Elliana shouted in anger, the environment outside immediately taking an ugly turn.

The thunderstorm appeared out of nowhere, and the sound of lightning echoed.

"Samantha! Samantha!" Elliana pushed the man as hard as she could before she rushed to the girl, her fingers shivering.

She looked at her friends who were now fighting all the vampires. Her gaze shifted to the showroom’s manager and employee, and she seethed.

"If you have as much as little conscience left in you, you would help us," Elliana shouted at them.

Alcinder pushed the leader of the vampires away from Samantha.

"Who the hell sent you to hurt her? Do you even know who she is? She is my fiancee! How dare you hurt the council’s head’s fiancee? I will kill you all!" Alcinder’s nails elongated as he only saw red.

He punched the leader again and again, Samantha’s painful moans and sobs, clenching his heart painfully.

No. No. No. He can’t lose her. She was the only one who stayed by his side despite what he had gone through or how cold he became. He can’t lose this gem. Alcinder chanted in his mind as he fought the vampires mindlessly, and ruthlessly, hitting and throwing hands and legs at them skillfully.

He took his dagger and cut a few people before turning to his girl who was bleeding.

Elliana’s condition wasn’t very well. The blood trickling down her neck was making her see black dots in her vision, and she was barely able to hold herself up.

It was obvious with so much blood loss, she wouldn’t be able to fight the vampires without using her powers but she knew she needed to do something to help them.

She better call Mr. Marino for help and the hospital to send an ambulance.

Elliana took out her phone meticulously, thinking no one was watching her, but before she could hit the call button, one of the vampires rushed to Elliana when they saw her calling for help.

"What the hell do you think you are doing b*tch?" He grabbed her hair in a fist, forcing her up before he threw her on the couch, making her body tumble down as she twisted her wrist because of the intensity.

"Your presence has been getting on my nerves since earlier. Let me show you what we do with b*tches like you," the vampire pulled out his dagger from his back pocket and was about to hit Elliana, who was glaring at him with hatred when his hand suddenly paused mid-air.

No matter how much he tried to move, he couldn’t.

"What is happening?" He looked at his vampire friends before he realized someone was holding his elbow in place.

The vampires looked at the person standing there and they nearly dropped to their knees in shock while a sob broke from Elliana’s mouth when her eyes met with the person’s.
