Chapter 343: They were here for her

"Welcome, sir. What would you like to have? Are you looking for a specific gown of any color, or are you open to some suggestions?" The saleswoman immediately rushed to the vampires who were here with an evil intent in their minds.

The vampires looked at each other before the leader nodded at them to go along with the flow. This was a great way to near the girl without anyone suspecting anything.

"A blue dress would be okay. But we are open to suggestions too," the man said, and the saleswoman led them to the place where Elliana and others were.

"Elliana there is still some time, you need to wake up to reality. These vampire princes don’t know anything that comes with the word love or affection," Melony whispered into Elliana’s ears, afraid that the prince would hear her or get angry.

Dexter had left earlier because he received a call from his father and he needed his presence urgently.

"We don’t decide who we fall for, Melony. It comes naturally," Elliana walked through the racks of clothes until her gaze fell on one shimmering royal blue dress.

It was perfect.

The frills on the side of the skirt of the gown, and the long slit sleeves that would reach her knees with an off-shoulder cut on the left side.

The neck wasn’t deep. It was just perfect with a large bow knot on the right shoulder of the dress.

It was both elegant and beautiful. Not too shiny and not too bland and plain either. It was the perfect piece, something she would want to wear.

Elliana walked to the dress and placed her hand on the soft cloth.

"This one is -"

"We would like to have this dress," one of the vampires from the group said, and Elliana raised her gaze to meet his dark ones.

Evil energy. That was what this man was oozing. His eyes held a negative emotion in them that he was obviously trying to mask.

"Excuse me, I got this dress first. Please remove your hand," Elliana said politely.

"Does it look like I care? How much money do you want to leave the piece? I have my eyes on it now and I must have it," the vampire said, and there was no doubt he was quite powerful himself.

Samantha and Melony also narrowed their brows and walked to where Elliana was.

They noticed both of their hands on the dress and immediately understood what the problem was.

"I think it’s a first come first serve basis. You can keep your money to yourself. I like this dress, and I don’t want to have anything else. PLEASE choose something else," Elliana pressed her lips, her eyes resolute.

The vampire looked at his friends who were standing quite behind him and immediately stepped forward.

Elliana noticed them too, and her gaze shifted to Melony who probably had the same thoughts.

This wasn’t safe. He was here with ten men while they were alone now that Mr. Marino and Dexter left. Besides, these vampires looked quite powerful.

What if they try to cause a problem?

"Well, I think my girl would look pretty in this dress too. I am ready to pay thrice the price of this. So please let go of the dress while I am still talking," The vampire said, and Elliana was about to remove her hands when the vampire jerked the dress towards himself, making her stumble forward.

"Elliana!" Melony shouted as the girl almost fell into the vampire’s hands.

Samantha narrowed her eyes and walked ahead in long strides.

As the third family princess, she wasn’t someone who was going to take this bullying easily, not when it was her friends and she was here too.

Meanwhile, Elliana whose hand had landed on the vampire’s hand, looked up with raised brows when his evil thoughts started circulating in her head. She could read his mind, and nothing in it was worth ignoring. They were planning a kidnap.

’We need to get this girl out of the way. This is our golden chance to Kidnap her. We can’t lose this moment. The situation has already been created. It’s perfect and people would think that she got kidnapped by some vampires because she was trying to meddle. It’s better to proceed,’

The thoughts echoed in her head, and Elliana gulped before taking a step back.

"You! How dare you -" Samantha walked ahead to teach the vampire a lesson for trying to hurt her only human friend.

However, before she could step ahead, Elliana held Samantha’s hand and pulled her away.

"I don’t want this dress anymore. Let’s leave," Elliana’s grip on the princess’s hand tightened.

Samantha looked at the girl’s steel-like grip, surprised to see how strong she was.

She looked at Elliana’s face and her eyes drooped. It didn’t take a genius to guess something was wrong.

"Elliana, what’s wrong- you wanted this dress so badly. Why are you backing away now? I can get you this dress. Just trust -"

"I said let’s go, Samantha. He touched it, and I don’t use touched products. I. DON’T. WANT. IT," Elliana seethed, and even Melony was surprised by the seriousness and venom in her voice.

They were only used to the girl’s smiles and happy innocent naive emotions. So seeing her spitting the words with such vileness was surely surprising for them.

Not to mention the way she said the sentence about her not wanting to use the touched products sounded like such a spoiled brat thing.

"Elliana -" Samantha started, but before Elliana could stop her from saying something, her hand was held back by the vampire who had been fighting with her for the dress.

Elliana froze in her place. It looks like her plan didn’t work, and the Vampires understood what she was doing.

"Not so soon," the vampire said before he pulled her back with such a jerk that she fell backward on her butt.

Samantha barely managed to keep herself from falling along with Elliana.

Elliana seethed at the vampires who were looking down on her.

"That was quite a smart move, but unfortunately your friends didn’t help you, no?" The vampire sat, and grabbed Elliana’s jaws, making her glare at them.

"Damn you!" Elliana spat.

"Elliana!" Melony shouted, surprised when the mere customers turned into a gang group, and their facade dropped immediately.

The other men immediately held Melony and Samantha in a tight grip, disabling them from moving any further.

"Such a beautiful face on such an ugly species. For what you tried to do now, I would’ve snapped this pretty neck of yours and drank every drop of blood you have to offer. My friends would’ve been delighted to use you, but unfortunately, we are quite busy at the moment and -" the vampire paused when he felt two more presence entering the shop.

The presence he didn’t want to have.

He nodded at his friends who nodded and launched the signal out of the window. Soon 30 more men rushed inside the showroom to help them with the mission.

They had planned everything in case things didn’t work and they showed up. Those 30 men will keep those two busy until they get their work done.

Alcinder and Drake, who were walking inside the showroom towards the lady’s section were surprised to see so many men entering the showroom and immediately became alert.

Something was off about this situation.

"Elliana!" They heard Melony’s scream, and both of them rushed toward the lady’s section.

The scene in front of them surprised them.

"Elliana! Leave the girl alone!" Alcinder immediately tried to rush forward, but a few men held him back.

He growled and threw the man forward, snapping his neck, then kicking the other men charging towards him. He punched the man square in the jaws and was about to rush when more vampires attacked him.

The vampire who was still holding Elliana’s jaws, sighed.

"If I were you, I wouldn’t make this mistake. Don’t you see this knife on her throat?" The vampire asked, and Alcinder immediately stopped fighting back.

He looked at the girl, who was glaring at the vampire while his knife dug into her skin, drawing a drop of blood.

He felt helpless.

Why her? Why always her? What the heck did she do to get everyone’s attention like this? Why the hell everyone is always up for the mission to hurt her? Who the heck wanted her to get hurt so badly?

Many questions revolved in his head as he looked at her trembling hands. Though she was trying to be strong and unfazed, he could see that she was thoroughly shaken.

Elliana, on the other hand, who was barely controlling her powers, and wanted to kill all the vampires here and melt their bones, clenched her hands and looked down.

"What do you want from her? Who sent you to hurt her now? Why are you guys always behind her? What did she do wrong to you?" Melony screamed at them, frustrated that Elliana was getting hurt in their presence.

"Oh? Do we have a misunderstanding here? We are not here for her. What would we do with this useless human? Do you think we would need so many men to tackle a human that we can kill by snapping her neck in? A second? We are here for her," The vampire said.

Everyone, except Elliana, who had already heard his thoughts, froze in their place as they looked at Samantha, who was surprised herself.

"Now, we could see that the vampire was quite caring towards this human. So why not use this useless human?" The vampire asked before digging his dagger further into Elliana’s neck. Samantha gasped as more blood started trickling down Elliana’s throat, who was basically helpless.
