Sebastian’s hand clenched around his phone as he read the message over and over again. He was about to stuff the phone in his pocket when he received another message from the same private number.

[By the way, it won’t hurt if I do it now either. You are in the University. Let’s see if you reach here first, or if I slice her little neck first.] The message said.

A low rumble of anger left Sebastian’s throat, and Lucas, who was right behind his boss and read the messages, felt his blood running cold.

"Sir, it’s the same lake behind the University," Lucas said.

"What’s happening here?" They heard a new voice, and Sebastian turned to Alcinder, his gaze shifting to his hands immediately.

Sebastian didn’t wait to answer Lucas and jumped down from the railing, making everyone gasp as they looked at the rowdy Prince in horror.

"The hell is wrong with the -" One of the girls started but stopped when her gaze met Ambrose’s dark eyes, his expression screaming only one thing.

’One more word about my prince, and I’ll pull your tongue out,’

"Let’s go, Ambrose," Lucas said to Ambrose, who nodded and rushed through the stairs to follow their prince.

Sebastian ran.

He didn’t know if this was his fastest speed, but he knew one thing for sure he hadn’t run this fast for a decade for sure.

Sebastian ran towards the lake, his heart beating terribly in his chest at the thought of someone else touching what was his.

’Yes. That’s what he was feeling. He was getting mad and anxious because his prized possession was in danger,’ Sebastian told himself as he reached the area, his gaze stopping at his wife who was crouching down as she played with water.

Look at this stupid girl. He is here losing her mind for her safety and she is happily playing with water. Sebastian shook his head.

Sebastian didn’t waste a second rushing to Elliana with his vampire speed, grabbing her hand, and then slamming her onto the nearest tree.

The next thing she knew, Sebastian placed his hand on her eyes and removed his mask before he kissed her.

Elliana gulped loudly at the familiar scent that wafted through her nostrils. The scent, which immediately arouses her.

The kiss was breathtaking, and when Elliana thought it was breathtaking, she literally meant it.

However, when they noticed what made their princess squeal so loudly, they widened their eyes and turned around.

They could only see their prince’s back, but they didn’t need to be told twice that their prince was practically devouring the princess, devouring like he didn’t want to leave any crumbs.

It felt so illegal to watch and hear that they walked out of the place.

"Mmmm!" Elliana moaned in displeasure when she felt she couldn’t take it anymore.

She patted his shoulders furiously, and Sebastian created just enough distance between them to let her breathe.

His gaze shifted to her breast which was heaving up and down, and he suppressed all the urge to shred this dress into tiny pieces. The lake water that was giving him hints of last night wasn’t helping either.

"What the hell were you doing, coming here without telling anyone anything, Princess?" Sebastian asked.

He didn’t wait for her reply. He didn’t need to, rather he picked her up so that her legs were wrapped around his torso and kissed her again.

"Do you have any idea how worried I was?" Sebastian pecked her lips softly, and she sighed.

"I missed you, Mr. Marino," She whispered to him, and Sebastian’s anger started to subside immediately.

This girl always uses this trick!

"I know you did," he let her play with his hair as she locked her hands would his neck.

"Don’t do this ever again, princess. And I mean it. You won’t come out here alone like this, okay? Didn’t you learn your lesson yesterday? You have no idea what kind of danger lurks in the forest," Sebastian said before he hugged her, placing his face in the crook of her neck.

Her heart which had been beating so fast, started to calm down when he hugged her like this. She mimicked his position and placed her head on his shoulders.

A smile made its way to her face, and she sighed contently, remembering how tough it was to plan and execute everything at the last minute.

Elliana clearly knew that she wouldn’t be able to make it in time, that’s why she had to do all this.

Ten minutes ago ~~~

"Faster!" Elliana shouted at Alcinder.

"I can’t!" Alcinder glared at the girl sitting beside him.

"Next time you have to go to such adventurous places, just tell me beforehand so that I can bring a fucking sports car with good mileage and speed. We are lucky that the tank didn’t empty in the middle of the path," Alcinder looked at the fuel tank, and Elliana gritted her teeth.

"Well, I am not the one who offered to help. I would’ve come with Dexter," Elliana pouted before looking out of the window when an idea popped into her head.

"You are such a complaint box, Elliana. You didn’t thank me for the ride, but surely comparing me with -"

"Stop the car," Elliana said.

"Are you out of your mind? You are getting angry just at this and asking me to leave -" Alcinder asked.

"Just stop the damn car, Alcinder," Elliana said in a controlled voice.

Screech!

Alcinder did as he was told and applied the brakes to stop the car at the side of the road.

"I am going towards the lake. Come with me," Elliana said, and Alcinder narrowed his eyes.

He knew if he asked her any questions she would just say to listen to her, and thus, he followed her without asking another question.

"What are we doing here?" Alcinder asked as soon as they reached the lake.

"I am standing here like this. Click a photo of me," Elliana smiled at him innocently.

"Click a photo? Did you stop here to click a photo? You surely have some weird habit of doing weird things in the moment of crisis," Alcinder asked, unsure of what was going on inside her head.

"Yes, now just do as I am telling you," Elliana said before she posed like she was busy looking at the lake.

Alcinder clicked a few photos.

"Send these to me," Elliana said, and once Alcinder hit the sent button, she sighed in relief.

"It’s a good thing that we weren’t too far," Elliana smiled as she sat near the lake.

"Yo, what are you doing? Aren’t you in a hurry to leave anymore?" Alcinder asked, and Elliana shook her head.

"No. You go. I will handle things from here," Elliana smiled, and Alcinder, who has seen how she handles things, trusted her enough before leaving.

Once Alcinder left, Elliana dialed a number.

"Hello? I am forwarding you a picture and a number. After five minutes, send this photo to this number and write two captions. First, write the caption I am sending you right below the picture. Wait for exactly thirty seconds before sending the other one," Elliana smiled at her reflection in the water.

"Make sure you send it through a private number and then discard the sim immediately," Elliana smiled.

She knew she was being too much, but she wasn’t left with any choice this time.

"I am sorry, Mr. Marino," Elliana said with her eyes closed.

"Why are you saying sorry, Princess?" Sebastian asked.

"For making you worry," she sighed with guilt, and he hummed before kissing her temple.

"It’s okay. I guess that’s what wives are for," Sebastian whispered to her, and heat rushed to her cheeks.

It looks like now is the time she should start coming off clean with her husband. He looks ready to be trusted enough. Elliana smiled, hugging him tighter.
