The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride
Chapter 238: Harsh side of Elliana

Chapter 238: Harsh side of Elliana

"Alcinder, stop the car near the forest of the Moon city," Elliana said.

Her hands were clenched on her dress, making it ride slightly above her knees, showcasing her porcelain olive legs even more.

Luckily, she didn’t have to shed more blood. Thus, her dress wasn’t stained and no scent of blood affected the drug she was using right now.

Although because of her sweating, a little of her own scent was starting to mix with the lavender scent, it wasn’t something she was too worried about.

Alcinder looked at her briefly, hoping she would say something else to explain why they were going to the forests of Moon City now, but when she didn’t, he sighed before nodding and turning the car in that direction.

Natasha didn’t make a sound the entire journey. She was too scared to say anything. She knew what was coming for her now. It would’ve been better if Miss Elliana hadn’t come there altogether rather than coming at a time like that. She closed her eyes in regret.

Alcinder looked at the vampire girl from time to time, unsure if he should be chivalrous and show his concern to know if she was alright.

Elliana’s demeanor wasn’t approachable either. It looked like she was deep in thought about something.

Though he was the council’s head’s son and technically the most powerful in the car right now, he was still finding it hard to understand this human beside him.

He had been suspicious about her since the beginning and always felt like she was too innocent for her own good, and probably hiding greater things, the most prominent being her identity and background.

However, after some time, she won him over with her innocence and accident-prone character, but now that he looks at her again, she was nothing like the girl he suspected her to be, or how he believed her later.

She turned out to be completely different.

After thirty minutes of the silent journey, Alcinder stopped the car near the Moon City’s forest and noticed that two more cars were already parked there.

"I’ll be back in some time. You can leave if you want," Elliana said to him with a soft smile on her face.

"I think I’ll wait. Come soon. I have a responsibility to take you back to -" Alcinder didn’t say anything further when Elliana shook her head.

A clear indication that this vampire girl doesn’t know that the person she called for help was actually a teenager who goes to University.

He sighed and nodded.

"Whatever," he murmured, and Elliana smiled at him before turning around, the smile on her face immediately dropping as she started walking inside the forest.

Elliana didn’t say anything to the vampire girl.

There wasn’t any need for it. The vampire girl knew that she had to follow the leader, and thus, without making any noise, she opened the car door and started following her leader wherever she was going.

Alcinder looked at the scared vampire girl and felt something was terribly wrong.

Could it be that Elliana is also a bad person here? Does she have something against this vampire girl that is making a vampire tremble in front of a mere human? Alcinder looked at his watch and waited for ten minutes.

This amount of time should be enough to create enough distance between them and not have her suspect anything. Alcinder nodded at himself.

He looked towards the forest and started walking inside, wanting to know just a little bit of truth himself before he would force it out of that human who pretended to be nice, innocent, and all happening.

Inside the forest, Elliana finally reached the base where the lake was situated, and one of her favorite spots in the forest.

"Elliana! Ah, thank God, you are fine. For a second, I was really scared that you got caught by that devil. I am so glad you are here," Marcello said, and he was about to rush to her side when Glow held his hand in a tight grip, stopping him from moving a step.

Marcello turned to Glow and quirked his brows. What was she doing stopping him like this?

Could it be that she is jealous? The last time they talked, Elliana had asked if he was falling for her. Is his Glow finally showing some reaction to his love? Marcello smiled in contentment.

It looks like sacrificing his safety for these girls wasn’t such a bad idea.

Marcello thought though he agreed that it was really a close call.

Everyone was covering their faces just like how they always do whenever they meet outside just in case they accidentally bump into someone.

And following their trend, even Marcello was wearing a mask.

Elliana didn’t say anything to him, nor did she say anything to any of the girls present on the site.

Elliana took a deep breath before without saying anything, she turned around and slapped Natasha hard across the face.

Her slap was so hard that Natasha fell on the ground, the scent of vampire blood immediately mixing with the air as the corner of Natasha’s lips burst and a whimper left her mouth.

Alcinder, who reached there just in time looked at the group of all vampires that were surrounding a human, and even after that, a human was able to slap a vampire so hard that she fell on the ground.

What was going on here? What the hell was this group of vampires, and why were they all hiding their faces?

"Elliana! What the fuck you are doing?!" Marcello couldn’t believe his eyes.

As far as he remembered he always thought that Elliana always cared about her girls and never treated them wrong, but this? How can she slap Nat like this? She was the victim of everything too.

Marcello noticed that none of the girls dared to even step ahead to help Natasha who was whimpering on the ground, and he gritted his teeth.

Was their loyalty to Elliana bigger than their companionship with each other? How can they let someone bully them? Is that how Elliana controls them? He really can’t be with them.

"You guys are sick," Marcello stepped ahead to help Natasha, but Glow held his hand again and shook her head.

He looked into her eyes, her eyes that were screaming the words she couldn’t.

LET HER BE.

"What was wrong with my love for you guys? Was it not enough? Hmm? Did I ever love you less? Time after time, I risked everything I had and still have, just to keep you safe and healthy. Is this how you repay my love for you? Is this what my love for you all is worthy?" Elliana asked, her stance cold and dominating, but her eyes brimming with tears.

"You!" Elliana pointed at Natasha.

"I am done! Today I announce that I am tired and done with this thing. I won’t have anything to do with you from today," Elliana turned her back on Natasha.

The girl widened her eyes in shock.

Elliana’s slap was still ringing in her ears, but her words echoed and dimmed everything else around. Her heart twisted in pain, and she shook her head in disbelief. To them, Elliana was everything, the only home that could look up to. How can they bear to separate from her?

Natasha shook her head violently.

"Aaaaaa, waaa waaaa," Natasha quickly crawled near Elliana’s legs and held them, shaking them to catch Elliana’s attention.

"Waaaa, waaaa. Wawa! Eaaa," Natasha cried in pain.

"Waaa? Waaaa! Waawaaa," Natasha whimpered again and again, trying to make out just any noise from her mouth so that Elliana could hear her pleas.

Everyone’s eyes welled with tears. They tried to hide it behind their strong facade, but no matter how much they tried, the rogue tears spilled from their eyes.

They clenched their hands harder as they looked at the wailing girl on the ground who was groveling as if someone snatched her home.

"From today onwards, I announce -" Elliana took a shaky breath, barely controlling her tears as the girl cried on her foot.

"From today onwards, I won’t be the leader of Natasha. She is a free soul now. She can have connections with you and you guys can meet her.

Everything will be like earlier, I will provide everything for her too, but from this moment, she ceases to be a part of my girls. The people I call my own. She won’t be one of my people," Elliana announced, and Misha looked at their leader in disbelief.

"Waa waaa, aaaa, aaaa," Natasha shook Elliana’s legs violently to catch her attention. She wanted to sign and apologize to their leader, but since Elliana wasn’t looking at her, she was helpless.

Marcello looked at the girl who looked like she was herself in so much pain after saying these words and then looked at the girl who was weeping on her legs.

Why was Elliana doing this if it was hurting her so much?

"Elliana, I think -" Elliana raised her finger, demanding no words to be spoken in the matter, and Marcello looked at Glow who was looking at Elliana resolutely, with no remorse in her eyes, just clear faith and loyalty.

He sighed. This was bigger than he had thought. If his guards also have the same loyalty as these girls, he will probably become the safest Duke in the nation.
