"Hello?" Miss Zoya picked up the phone after she went back to her room from the kitchen.

"What took you so long to pick up a damned phone call?!" Sebastian roared, and Miss Zoya immediately knew something was wrong.

"I am sorry, sir. Please pardon my mistake. Is everything alright?" Miss Zoya asked hesitantly.

"Where is the Princess?" Sebastian asked, his foot tapping on the ground uncontrollably as he waited for her answer in anticipation.

"Princess?" Miss Zoya asked as if she heard some foreign word and Sebastian closed his eyes in frustration, running his hand through his hair as the medical team came and wiped his body with disinfectant to ensure there were no wounds on his body.

"Yes, Miss Zoya. I am asking about the princess. The human girl I married and who is now living in the palace in the same room as me. Where the hell is she right now?" Sebastian asked.

"She is in her room, sir," Miss Zoya said.

"Are you sure about it?" Sebastian asked, and Miss Zoya hummed.

"Yes, sir. There was a problem earlier. I had to get her room checked. She is in the palace only. Is something wrong? Are you not able to reach her?" Miss Zoya asked, and Sebastian narrowed his brows.

No. There is no way he mistook that girl for the princess. The same height, the same physique, the same facial structure, similar long brown hair, and the way she ran away from him, everything only pointed at her.

Lucas looked at his boss who looked like he was losing his mind thinking about who that girl was and pressed his lips into a thin line.

"Go check her room," Sebastian said.

It has been more than half an hour since the incident, but he was so busy getting his man treated and checked that he couldn’t call earlier.

"When I ask you to do something, and I sound this urgent, I hope I don’t have to repeat my orders," Sebastian said as he asked Ambrose to speed the car.

They had already reached the university earlier where the rest of the cars were. It will take him around twenty minutes to reach the palace at a good speed.

"Drive as fast as you can," Sebastian said, and Ambrose didn’t need to be told twice.

"Okay, I’ll go check," Miss Zoya said, and she took her time standing up from her place and walking out of her room.

Sebastian ended the call and threw the phone on the empty seat.

If he kept the phone on and heard every single detail, he would get angry again and shout at Miss Zoya.

After fifteen minutes, they reached the palace, and Sebastian didn’t waste a single second in getting out of the car.

"Where is she?" He asked Miss Zoya, who thinned her lips.

"The princess isn’t opening the door, sir. She said she was going to sleep. Maybe she is sleeping. Is it okay to disturb her?" Miss Zoya asked, and Sebastian suppressed his urge to growl at the old lady who had been taking care of him for so long.

He called this woman fifteen minutes ago, and in these minutes, she couldn’t decide if she should disturb the princess or not.

"You could’ve used the master key. Now step aside," Sebastian said in his controlled voice.

"Sir, think twice. You don’t exactly look very pleasant. What if you scare her?" Miss Zoya referred to his blood-stained clothes, and Sebastian gritted his teeth before twisting the door knob and opening the door after using the master key.

"You should stop worrying about her so-called innocence. She is not what she looks like," he said and entered the room.

He looked around and scoffed.

Just like he had guessed, the princess wasn’t there. It means the girl he saw earlier -

He unbuckled his belt and placed the belt on the counter, practically slamming it on the counter before he took off his pants and let them drop on the ground.

Everything he was doing was a calculative move. He sided the curtain of the shower head before standing under it and turning on the shower.

The blood he had in his hair and body started washing off, his abs glistening under the light as he leaned on the wall, looking at the girl with a smirk on his face.
