"Mmmm," Elliana slipped into the water, and Sebastian’s eyes widened when he saw it.

"The fuck!" He growled in anger and turned the shower head off before rushing to her.

He held her shoulders before slightly pulling her up so that her head was out of the water.

What the hell is she doing? Could it be that she was really asleep here? Sebastian narrowed his eyes. He wanted to lift her and take her to the bed, but...

"I... I am sorry. You should’ve just woken up. No. I should’ve known. It’s not my room only, and I can’t have the bathroom all to myself," Elliana rambled, and Sebastian looked at the girl, smiling.

If she was innocent, then he believed her, but if she was really pretending to be innocent, he must say that she was a very good actor.

Elliana suddenly paused and looked at him with wide eyes. This was the first time she SAW him smiling. It felt illegal to look at him.

"Y-you are smiling," she raised her hand to touch his face, but before her fingers could reach Sebastian, he held her hand and stopped her, making her look at him from under her wet eyelashes.

She licked her bottom lips, shifting his gaze from her eyes to her lips for a minuscule second.

"Why did you come to save me, Princess? Do you have any idea how dangerous it was?" Sebastian cupped her cheeks, rubbing her chin before he rubbed her lower lip.

"Save you? Were you in danger? And when did I come? I was in my room all the time," Elliana asked, maintaining her facade.

There’s no way she would give up so easily.

"Is that so?" He asked, and she nodded.

"Well, okay. I believe in you," Sebastian said, and Elliana gulped, feeling guilty.

"Were you in some kind of danger?" She asked, and Sebastian looked at the hand mark that was left by Maze on her neck before darting his gaze into her eyes.

He didn’t reply to her. There was no use. Even if the princess was lying, he wanted to catch her red-handed.

"I think you were right. It wasn’t very good of you to keep the bathroom to yourself when it’s a shared room," Sebastian murmured, and without a warning, he stood and climbed in the bathtub with her, making her widen her eyes when she finally took in his appearance.

Hot. That’s what she was feeling as she looked at his glistening skin.

Sebastian could see her gaze focused on his chest, and he suppressed the urge to chuckle at her.

"I..." Elliana looked at him before looking at the towel, and Sebastian raised his brows at her.

"You want me to help you?" Sebastian teased her more.

However, what he hadn’t thought was for Elliana to nod.

His eyes immediately darkened, and a nerve in his head ticked.

"Do you know what you are talking about?" Sebastian asked, his voice extra cold as his hand clenched on the bathtub, and Elliana gulped before she made a move towards him.

He looked at her like a hawk, like a predator whose prey was walking toward him itself, the only difference was, that she was crawling toward him and he could see that she was wearing a tube bra.

"Mr. Marino," Elliana whispered as she came right in front of him, the heavy bubbles still hiding their bodies from each other.

"Thank you," she whispered.

"For what?" He gritted, barely controlling his urges.

"For trusting me. For showing me the half of your face," Elliana whispered before she leaned forward and kissed his chin, her body rubbing on Sebastian slightly.

The strings of control that held him in place started breaking one by one.

He was the man who always took control of the situation, but seeing his princess taking initiative today, he didn’t know if he liked it because she was slowly becoming his, or if he hated it because she was practically teasing and testing his patience.

Elliana raised her gaze, looking at him straight in the eyes before he took a shaky breath and tilted her head.

She placed her lips on Sebastian’s, and that was enough for every control he had to fly out of the window.
