"Hey, aren’t you the secretary of that bodyguard? Why are you doing this cleaning work? I will ask some cleaning ladies to do that," Daniel walked to Lucas.

Lucas rolled his eyes and continued throwing the buckets of water on the blood splashes.

Everyone looked at him weirdly when he picked the heart that was still beating as if it was some kind of delicate thing that shouldn’t be destroyed and placed it in a box.

"It’s my job to clean after my boss, despite the fact that I don’t get paid enough for it," Lucas sighed at the end.

Though his boss used to be more lethal than he is now before Princess entered their lives, his anger has been taking over quite frequently these days, and it was making things harder for him.

This cleaning stuff that he used to do once or twice a month when his prince used to eat has now turned to 4 times this month already.

"Why are you preserving that heart?" Daniel asked, suspicious of this secretary’s intentions.

"Must you disturb me while I am working? Do you think we can just kill a girl and we won’t have to report it back to our boss? We will present this heart to our boss who will decide if what we did was just our anger or was the demand of the situation. If he didn’t like our work, he might actually change Princess’s bodyguards, and we will be sent to the other branch," Lucas made up whatever lie he could, and Daniel hummed, his eyes still suspicious.

"So, your sir, the bodyguard, what kind of person is he?" Daniel asked, and Alcinder who was talking to the other members of the ship and asking them if they knew anything about this second person or not, turned to Daniel at his question.

Alcinder was hoping to catch the second person himself so that rather than relying on a mere bodyguard, they can punish that person themselves, and in a less severe manner. If he found the person sooner, he would lock that person in the basement of the ship until everyone was out and then lock them in the prison.

It will at least save that person’s life.

Alcinder walked to where Lucas stood straight after doing his work and took a deep breath, wanting to hear his answer.

"I don’t understand what reference you are talking about. My sir is a very nice person," Lucas said, not wanting to go deeper into his answers.

"Well, we clearly saw how nice your sir is," Daniel scoffed.

"I never said he is nice to others," Lucas looked at Daniel straight in the eyes.

Lucas was a Duke’s son himself, thus he was quite more powerful than Daniel, and Daniel could feel it when he gazed directly in his eyes.

"He is nice to our Princess only," Lucas said.

"See, if you want to ask me what his personality is, then honestly, you need years of experience to understand him. He is like an ocean. He can be calm and surreal and cold and a home, but at the same time he can be your biggest nightmare," Lucas looked at the girl standing behind Alcinder.

"Next time you think of inviting our princess to some kind of vacation, ensure that there aren’t any people who would want to harm her life. You guys were merely lucky that the princess was conscious and she took him away. If she had been unconscious, you don’t even know what kind of havoc he would have rained here," Lucas smirked inside his mask.

"What you saw just now wasn’t even close to what he has done in the past. Never has he killed a woman with his bare hands, but he was so angry that he didn’t even kind that. Devil, that’s what he is akin to," Lucas sighed.

"To make things more clear to you guys, he is a trained assassinator. Killing is his favorite work, and it’s all because he didn’t want to scare our princess that he didn’t slice that woman into small tiny cubes," Lucas grabbed the container in his hand before looking at the girls behind them.

"Also, next time he kills someone or does something, bite off your tongue. The more you scream in fear and agony, the more he loves that. Just like a devil feeds on your fear, he does the same. We are trained just like that," Lucas turned around and was about to leave when Alcinder’s words stopped him.

"If you guys are such trained assassins and stuff, what are you doing protecting a mere human girl? Why is she so important?" Alcinder asked, and Lucas paused before sighing.

"She is not important," Lucas turned to them.

"Honestly speaking, there is nothing special about her. The only thing that makes her different from others is that she is a devil’s possession.

When the devil falls in love, the whole world should tremble in fear and bow down to his woman," Lucas shrugged as if that was the most normal thing to say, and Alcinder rolled his eyes.

Wasn’t this secretary being a bit too much? What does he mean that a bodyguard is a devil? Does he not know who is called the real devil of the vampire world?

Just because he is an assassin? Alcinder scoffed.

Why did he even bother to come here and hear what this secretary has to say? He sighed and walked back to interrogating people.

"Gabrielle, you are next. Come here. I think we have some big things to discuss. Let’s start with how you wanted to humiliate Athena. What do you know about the person who could’ve helped Trisha in her evil plans?" Alcinder walked to Gabrielle, and the girl who was already trembling in fear, gulped.

"I... I don’t know anything. I haven’t done anything. The second person, what Trisha was planning, or how did this all happen, I don’t have any idea about anything," Gabrielle whimpered, and Alcinder was about to ask her to drop her act when Sebastian walked out from the corridor to continue his investigation.

As soon as Gabrielle saw the bodyguard of Elliana who shredded a girl without caring about who she was, Gabrielle gulped and stepped back.

"No. Please don’t do anything to me," She whimpered when her eyes met with him.

Sebastian quirked his brows, his red blazing eyes looking at everyone with a bored look.

"Line up," His voice was loud and clear, and everyone looked at each other warily.

Almost all the people on this ship were sons and daughters of someone influential. They belonged to that group of teenagers who never listen to anyone or bow down in front of anyone because of their powers. However, how could they deny a raging Bull?

"Alcinder, Dexter, Drake, Daniel, Samantha, Melony, and Ashton. Apart from them, everyone line up," Sebastian sighed before descending the small stairs.

"I hope I don’t have to repeat myself," Sebastian smirked inside the mask but his intense eyes, made everyone gulp.

Alcinder, who was looking at the bodyguard, narrowed his eyes as he studied him before a realization dawned upon him.

The secretary said Elliana is a Devil’s possession. It means who ever Elliana is living with is even stronger than these people? Who could it be? What kind of background does this girl have? And does she even know anything about it? Alcinder looked at his hands, feeling helpless.
