Chapter 167: They are obsessed

Elliana looked at the person in front of her in sheer surprise before her eyes narrowed.

Because of the thundering clouds, and the high density of the forest, it was hard to figure out who this person was. The place was quite dark. And the person was blocking the sunlight making it hard for her to see anything.

Why the hell this person looks so familiar? The same hairstyle and body figure as her. Could it be -

"Misha?" Elliana tried, and the girl stepped forward, making her look at this familiar girl with a cold expression.

"What the hell are you doing here? Have you gone insane?" Elliana asked before she looked behind her.

"Who else is there?" She asked, losing her patience when the girl didn’t speak anything.

Well technically she couldn’t say anything in the first place, but Misha didn’t sign anything either, and it was pissing Elliana off.

After having a bad day, dealing with her possessive team was the last thing she wanted to do right now.

"Is there someone else, Misha? I promise I won’t get angry, but I need you to tell me things for me to communicate properly," Elliana sighed, and Misha shook her head slowly.

"I was here. I saw you in the market and tried to follow you," Misha signed after a few seconds, and Elliana hummed.

"What are you doing out here in the rain?" She asked Misha, who looked at the ground.

"Don’t tell me you were trying to follow me," Elliana narrowed her eyes.

"Your safety is our responsibility," Misha signed, and Elliana hummed.

"If that’s the case, you shouldn’t have been following me around. I clearly mentioned that you guys don’t need to follow me until I call you or give you a task, no? What part of it didn’t you understand?" Elliana asked as they started walking again.

Elliana walked a few steps, and when she realized Misha wasn’t following her anymore, Elliana turned to look at the girl.

"I lied," Misha signed to Elliana, and the latter sighed before nodding.

"I knew it. Now tell me the truth. What’s going on?"

"I lied to you about me being here only," Misha said.

"Who else is here?" Elliana asked, and she didn’t have to wait for too long.

She heard the sound of twigs breaking again, and she turned to her side, her gaze meeting with Glow.

"The heck!" Elliana raised he voice, and Glow smiled at her sheepishly.

"So you guys want me to believe that you both were coincidentally here, at a place where I am coming for the first time or should I say, the first time I go on a vacation, you are there too coincidentally?" Elliana asked, and Glow nodded with big wide eyes making Elliana roll her eyes.

As if acting cute will work with her.

"The hell I am believing this shit. Now tell me - what are you doing?" Elliana looked at Glow who rushed to her and fell on her knees to inspect her knees.

"Ouch, that hurts," Elliana winced, and Glow looked up at her with angry eyes.

"Don’t look at me like that. I fell, okay?" Elliana said before pausing.

"Hold on a second. Why am I the one explaining myself? Shouldn’t it be the other way around?"

"I was here. I saw you, then I messaged Glow and she took a flight here," Misha signed to Elliana slowly.

She couldn’t believe it. They were still lying. She could see it in Glow’s eyes, which were too focused on her wounded and bruised knees.

This wasn’t good at all. This was nothing like the boss-employee kind of relationship they should be having.

It was ironical.

Here, she was bawling her eyes out thinking about who the hell was in her support and stuff, and there these girls were literally becoming obsessed with her.

This wasn’t supposed to be like this.

"We have something to report too," Misha suddenly said, and Elliana looked at Glow for answers.

"It’s about the flower you asked us to find," Glow said and Elliana hummed, her expression immediately turned serious.

After she talked with Marcello regarding her decision to make the poison, she called Glow and told her about her plans to form a new drug. She hadn’t said anything about vampires killing poison because she was afraid her girls would fear her, and that was the last thing she wanted to happen.

"Your friend owns that field," Glow said, and Elliana narrowed her eyes.

"Friend?" Elliana asked, and Glow nodded.

"Which one? How am I supposed to know that? Is getting that flower hard? I need that in large quantities," Elliana said.

She will have to get her hands on a bigger sample. The testing alone will take around 1 kg of flowers, not to mention she wanted to make the strongest doses just to tackle the strongest of the vampires.

"I want the details about the field and all the possible locations of the availability of the flower. Also, make sure you add the properties of the flower, and kind of environment, and the amount of time it needs to grow. If it worked, we can make a good business out of it," Elliana said to Misha, her gaze meeting Glow who was looking at her with a knowing look.

It was as if Glow knew exactly what was going on inside her head. Elliana was yet to figure out if Misha was telling the truth and their presence here was merely a coincidence because of Misha or a planned thing.

If it turned out to be planned, things would turn graver than she can imagine.

These girls who are ready to lay down their lives for her, will never take it lightly if they find out what happened to Elliana in the past. And getting them into trouble is the last thing she wants to happen.

"By the way, Glow. There is something I need to know. It’s a bit personal, and I don’t want to intrude too much, but do you have any feelings for Marcello? I know that guy is head over heels for you. But do you have such feelings for him?" Elliana asked, and Glow looked away.

"I am asking you this because Marcello is in great trouble, and his life might be in danger," Elliana’s words made Glow widen her eyes in shock and fear, giving Elliana all the answers she needed.

"I am giving you an address. I sent him there so that he could be safe. If you want to meet him, you can go there. You guys should leave here as soon as possible. I will be leaving now," Elliana said, and without a warning Glow hugged her from behind, radiating gratitude and Elliana smiled.

"Stupid girl. He is my business partner before your lover boy. So don’t think I did it all for you. Now go and console him. He needs you," Elliana hugged both of them as she watched them leave, looking at her knees in awe.

She didn’t even realize when Glow placed that herbal leaves on her knees.

It’s almost like....

Could it be that Glow knows exactly what Elliana was thinking of doing, and that’s why she was looking at her like that? Elliana thought, thinning her lips.
