Chapter 105: The Himalayan Witches

Chapter-105

Her heart started beating faster. Though her eyes were closed, Elliana could feel his warm breath over her br*asts and she didn’t know what to do or say.

Her eyes were still blindfolded and her hands were limo against her sides as the prince had them in his hold.

Elliana’s chest heaved up and down. This was the first time the prince was sleeping soundly. He probably doesn’t even know where his face was. Elliana bit her lower lip.

Honestly speaking, she wasn’t afraid of his sudden proximity to her. Rather, she was afraid of waking him up. She didn’t want to do anything that might end up waking him up.

It doesn’t happen every day when he can trust her enough to sleep so soundly around her. Usually, he is always on his guard because, in his heart, she is probably the enemy’s daughter. The enemy who was an ally in killing his mother.

Elliana’s fingers twitched as the urge to caress his hair as he was asleep started taking over her.

She kept her eyes closed. It was a good chance to see what his face looked like. His soft breathing was an indication that he wasn’t wearing a mask. However, she didn’t want to break his trust. Besides, would seeing his face make a difference in her heart?

For her, he was her husband who she was ready to take care of until he betrayed her terribly and nobody can change anything about that, not even his facial features.

How great it would be if Mr. Marino starts trusting her too, no? Elliana thought before she paused.

Wait. How did they end up in this position in the first place? The last thing she remembered was dancing at the party and winning that crown. Why were her memories so distorted? What the hell happened? Elliana scrunched her brows, trying her best to remember the events of the last night.

"Even if you try to hide that you’re awake, your heartbeat always gives away, doesn’t it?" Sebastian asked, realizing where his face was when his lips touched her soft skin.

He was only thinking about it last night. He hadn’t thought that he would end up with his face in her chest for real. It looks like his body has started to be comfortable around her on its own.

He cleared his throat and pulled away, pretending to be unfazed. Pretending like nothing happened is far better than addressing the awkwardness of knowing and talking about it, no?

Sebastian ran his hand through his hair and looked at the girl on his left side whose heartbeat pace increased even more. She was still in her blindfold.

How innocent.

Why didn’t you use this opportunity to see what kind of monster your husband looks like? Sebastian sighed and took his mask from the nightstand.

He was about to place the mask on his face so that the princess could remove her blindfold when he turned to her.

He raked his gaze all over her face, stopping at her plump lips that he assaulted last night too, though not for long. As good as it felt to kiss her, the thought of doing it when she is sober always took over. That was also the main reason he forced his hands away from her thighs too.

"Good morning," Sebastian said after a few seconds and Elliana smiled.

"Good morning, Mr. Marino," Elliana turned to him to face him even with her blindfold to let him know he has her full attention, but what she didn’t know was that Sebastian was also turning towards her to kiss her forehead.

Her sudden turn made Sebastian’s lips land on her nose, and she gulped, her heart skipping a beat.

Sebastian’s gaze immediately shifted to her little Adam’s apple that bobbed up and down and he remembered what she said about letting him mark her.

The urge to tease her took over again and he smiled, placing his mask on his chest as he rubbed her cheeks with his knuckles.

"So, is this the right time to mark you?" Sebastian asked, and Elliana who didn’t remember anything, raised her brows.

"Mark me? For what?" Elliana asked.

"As mine. You wanted me to bite you yesterday so that you could be called mine. You even marked me. Do you not remember at all?" Sebastian wore his mask and removed her blindfold softly, letting her adjust to the light.

"Here," Sebastian pulled down his t-shirt.

Elliana blinked furiously to adjust to the little light. Mr. Marino was thoughtful enough to not pull the blinds and Elliana widened her eyes when her gaze landed on the teeth mark on Sebastian’s neck.

Usually, this kind of mark would’ve been healed in a few seconds, but Sebastian deliberately stopped the healing of this part just so he could show her what she did. It was one of the perks of being a high-rank vampire.

"I... I did that?" Elliana was shocked, raising her finger ever so gently and tracing it.

"I am sure no one has these kinds of teeth here," Sebastian’s tone reeked of amusement, and Elliana’s face turned red as she looked at him from under her lashes.

Sebastian was sure she would apologize to him like always and flush even more. However, he didn’t expect her next question.

"So, did you like it? Should I do it again?" Elliana asked, and Sebastian looked into her eyes to see if she was serious. When she didn’t show any signs of saying it was a joke, he was about to scold her for being so casual about these things when his phone rang.

He looked at the number of the royal palace landline and excused himself.

"Yes?" Sebastian asked as soon as he walked out of the room, not before looking at his blushing wife.

For some reason, ever since Sebastian kissed her on the lips, he has had this feeling that his little innocent wife is a bit too naughty for her benefit.

He was sure once he ruin her thought process completely, she would turn into a whole new person. Her body is quite responsive to him too.

Sebastian saw it last night. Even when she was in a deep slumber, the soft moans she was releasing when he was rubbing her thighs up and down were way more alluring than he had imagined. If he didn’t know about her heart being so calm, he would’ve thought she was pretending to be asleep.

He shook his head and ran his hand through his hair as his grandpa started speaking, making him sigh as he started walking towards the office, knowing all too well that this conversation is going to be a bit long.

Meanwhile, in the Himalayas, six strong witches were sitting in a meeting hall. Their throne-like seats were made up of ice, every seat having a different symbol behind it.

There were a total of six symbols seats.

One symbol had fire-like flames on top of it. The second symbol had large ocean-like water waves. The third symbol had moonlight at night with thunderclaps in the sky. The fourth symbol had windy forests, depicting storms. The fifth symbol had the soil and Earth. The sixth symbol had a combination of each one of them with a small Earth in between.

The witches sitting on the seats depicted the kind of powers they mastered and ruled over.

"What is the stance on that human girl so far?" One of the witches asked while the main witch on the throne seat with all the symbols sat there with her eyes closed, listening to everyone speaking and presenting their opinions.

"What about her? I heard some small witch Yaretzi took her under her wings to teach her the basics," the witch with the thunderstorm symbol said.

"A normal witch? Is she even able to handle the kind of powers that are locked inside that girl? Whose idea was it to let her interfere?" The witch with the fire flames asked, her symbol reddening with her anger.

"I think you need to calm down. Nath is keeping her under constant observation. He won’t let anything get out of hand," The witch with the water waves symbol said.

"Keeping her under constant observation is different than teaching her. I told you, let me go and knock some sense into that girl. She can’t use these powers and waste them like this. The powers are trying to overcome her. Do you know what will happen if they merge with her soul?" The fire witch said, and the water Witch stood from her place with a scoff.

"Knock some sense into her? Do you even hear yourself? I know what’s going on. You need to calm down. The girl handled those powers well for the past sixteen years and -"

"The powers weren’t in their full form at that time. The girl got married before we expected, for the Witch Goddess’s sake!! Can’t you see the problem here?! Your useless pawns didn’t do anything when she was getting married and now you are telling me to calm down?! I swear -" The witch with the fire flames raised in the air in anger, and everyone looked at her with wary expressions.

"So now the witches who can’t hold any light in front of me have suddenly grown the guts to raise their voices in front of me?" The witch with all the symbols opened her eyes, her eyes pitch black.
