Tai Luo had fully transformed into a Light Giant, radiating blinding light from his whole body, his essence turned into light itself and, wielding a massive Light Giant Sword, his strike swept through a row of Living Corpse Knights with a gigantic wave of light.

Iron Beard urgently asked, "Your Highness, haven’t you reached the core of the darkness yet?"

Xingge, with eyes closed and tending to a tiny flame, replied crisply, "Not yet...not so quickly, give me half a clock hour more."

A warrior asked, "Can I strike directly at the Dark Phenomenon?"

Iron Beard barked, "Don’t! It’s no use! That’s just a phenomenon with no substance. Without destroying the source, we cannot eliminate the phenomenon."

"Then what do we do now? There are more and more Living Corpse Knights... the Spiritual Energy consumption of Lord Tai Luo is too rapid. Once his Light Giant form ends, we’re in trouble!"

Rod shouted, "Let me kill those monsters! I can stop them from resurrecting!"

All heads turned towards him in a flash.

Iron Beard asked urgently, "Do you have a way?"

Rod casually said, "I have found the monsters’ vital points; I can destroy those points to make them ’lose air’, thereby preventing their resurrection."

Iron Beard exclaimed in shock, "What are vital points? What do you mean by ’losing air’?"

"There’s no time to explain! Leave the last blow to me, let me do this grueling task on behalf of everyone!"

Rod charged into the crowd of Living Corpse Knights, groping and jabbing wildly, specifically aiming to deliver killing blows.

To everyone’s surprise, the Living Corpse Knights killed by him indeed did not resurrect.

Rod was thrilled, "You really are my best partner!" He leapt forward to deal the finishing blows, one after another.

There was a loud bang as the Knight’s sword was blocked by the Giant Sword, the powerful collision of Spiritual Energies resulted in an explosion that nearly blew the nearby warriors away.

In that lightning-fast moment, only Tai Luo managed to react in time, and only he could keep up with the movements of the Living Corpse Knight.

The two figures were locked in combat, the black silhouette attacking furiously like a gale, while the white one robustly forced it back away from Xingge.
