Chapter 58 - 47 Eat Shit
Chapter 58: Chapter 47 Eat Shit
What should I do?
A half-lit Thunder Stone might cause damage, but just throwing it over there, there’s no way it would hit.
Just then, a strange whining sound suddenly came from the depths of the sewer.
The Black Priest’s face changed in an instant.
"Dammit!"
"How could it be so soon?"
She muttered very softly to herself.
Rod didn’t hear her, he figured it out by reading her lips.
The whining sound continued, and the Black Priest became extremely anxious; she grabbed Rod’s clothes and dragged him as she sprinted deeper into the sewer.
Karamon followed blankly behind.
After running about a few hundred meters, the surrounding environment became even more eerie, and the strange foul smell was almost suffocating.
Suddenly, Rod felt a strange palpitation, as if something was drawing him in.
Before he could come to his senses, his view flipped, and he was thrown by the Black Priest, landing heavily on the cold, damp ground.
Rod, enduring the pain, grasped the Thunder Stone tightly and didn’t make a sound, fearful of being noticed.
But the Black Priest wasn’t even looking at him.
She took out a beautifully decorated box from her bosom, carefully opened it, and gently picked out a green fluffy powder, meticulously sprinkling it in front of her.
Thump thump.
Thump thump.
Rod heard strange hallucinatory sounds, like the sound of blood flowing in a beating heart.
He quietly looked over and saw a giant heart pulsating in front of the Black Priest.
With each beat, the throbbing sound echoed in his mind.
Black Fog was gathering from all directions, entering the heart through the exposed large blood vessels.
Its flesh was being tainted by the blackness from the inside out.
Rod realized in an instant.
It turned out to be Corrosive Material, it was absorbing the Black Fog.
The phenomenon he had seen in the square earlier had been caused by it.
This must be some kind of evil ritual performed by the Doomsday believers, and even those monsters might have been placed here by them.
The Black Priest brought him here, definitely not to let him watch the ceremony, but to have him become a living sacrifice for the ceremony.
Terrible.
As soon as she finishes with the green powder, she will likely gut me on the spot.
Rod was extremely anxious, with the Thunder Stone in his hand almost fully lit, but judging from its power when previously used, throwing it like this, it was uncertain if the Black Priest would die, but he would definitely be blown up first.
But this was the only chance for survival.
Rod, regardless of the danger, carefully and as quickly as possible began crawling outward.
"Little bug."
The cold voice of the Black Priest came from behind:
"You better behave, or you will suffer even greater pain."
Rod’s heart tightened, but she didn’t come after him; she was still fully focused on performing her ritual.
Perhaps she underestimated him, thinking he could never escape from her grasp, let alone pose a threat to her, the Black Priest didn’t even glance at him, respectfully bowing and rotating around the heart like worshiping a Holy Artifact, continuously sprinkling the green fluffy material in circles around the heart.
When the Black Priest’s back turned towards him, Rod didn’t hesitate a moment, and immediately threw the fully charged Thunder Stone.
A thick fog flew out from the Black Priest, enveloping the throwing object from Rod,
"Little bug, your futile struggle will bring you a more tragic fate, you’ll see, your weak Spiritual Energy in the face of true power..."
Boom!
The fully charged Thunder Stone burst out with a pure cyan light, piercing through the thick fog.
Serpentine silver snakes blossomed like flowers, the intense Thunder Light illuminating the entire area.
Its power exceeded Rod’s calculations, the aftermath of the lightning felled him, and a strong paralyzing sensation nearly made him lose all sensation in his body.
As the Thunder Light quickly faded, Rod forcefully twisted his stiff neck and cast his gaze over.
He saw the giant black heart still pulsating, just at a much slower pace, with the Black Priest on the ground, blue electric light occasionally dancing on her body, but the thick fog still shrouded her head did not disperse.
Rod’s heart sank.
He remembered clearly, Green Hair had once told him, such thick fog was aerosolized Spiritual Energy, a Spiritual Energy technique that could only be used by those with a very high Spiritual Power Level, possessing a very strong concealing effect that could block spying and isolate Spiritual Power waves.
The fog had not dispersed, the owner of the Spiritual Energy was definitely not dead.
As if confirming his guess, the Black Priest emitted a pained groan, her body twitched, and she revived.
A sharp sense of tension stabbed at Rod’s heart like steel needles.
He forced his stiff hand to move, reaching into the grey bag and gripping the Thunder Stone.
The thick sense of paralysis made it feel as though he was holding a clump of cotton, and the circulation of his Spiritual Energy was also affected, becoming sluggish like mud.
"Little bastard!"
The voice of the Black Priest seemed to squeeze out from between her teeth.
"You dare to interfere with the Curse Seal Ceremony!"
She staggered to her feet, the lightning strike seeming to have caused her great damage, making her unsteady on her feet.
She tried to pick up the Double-Headed Blade that had fallen to the ground, but the residual electricity made her body jerk.
"You bastard!"
The tone of the Black Priest was filled with hatred, starkly different from her affable demeanour in the Administration Hall.
"I’ll kill you first! The ceremony can still be completed, it won’t be delayed by much!"
She moved her body, step by step, walking towards Rod.
Rod knew this was bad and tried to throw the Thunder Stone in advance, but his arm was stiff, and he couldn’t get it out of the gray bag in time, so he could only shout, "Don’t come any closer, I still have Thunder Stone!"
The Black Priest sneered, "Little bastard, you just ignited the Fire Spark and became a Fire Holder not half a month ago. You’ve used up so much Spiritual Energy already, being able to throw a fully energized Thunder Stone is already surprising. Your soul has long been exhausted. If you still have Spiritual Energy to activate the Thunder Stone, I’ll eat all the shit in this sewer."
Her pace gradually quickened, her figure stabilizing, as she began to overcome the paralysis from the lightning strike.
Rod was extremely nervous, frantically jerking his arm, but his elbow wouldn’t respond at all, swinging back and forth in the gray bag.
The Black Priest became more certain of her judgment, gritting her teeth, "Little bastard, you are dead! I’m going to rip out your intestines and use them as my scarf for the next week."
Perhaps her description was too disgusting, but suddenly Rod raised his arm, the Thunder Stone clutched in his palm, with one-third of the Thunder Pattern already lit.
His arm still wouldn’t respond, but Rod shook his body, swung his elbow, and released his fingers, tossing out the Thunder Stone.
The Black Priest was suddenly startled.
"What! You still have..."
Bang!
The energy of one-third of the Thunder Stone exploded, and the Black Priest, unable to dodge in time, was hit directly.
Although the Thunder Light was far less intense than at full charge, because Rod’s limbs weren’t reacting properly and the distance it was thrown was much shorter, he was hit once again by the blast and fell to the ground.
The situation for the Black Priest was much worse. The fierce explosion tore through her priest robes, and scorched smoke rose from her body. She was blown far away and landed heavily on the ground, taking a long time to get up.
Still not dead!
Rod was startled and frantically reached into the gray bag, but stronger paralysis made him completely immobile.
"I must kill you myself!"
The voice of the Black Priest was filled with intense fury, but in the next instant, it turned seductive.
"Little Karamon, heal me."
Rod’s heart sank, but with his neck stiff, he couldn’t turn his head and had to use the corner of his eyes to look.
He saw Karamon standing silently in the distance, unaffected by the lightning strike, his eyes still filled with black light, his hands pressed together chantingly, "Yes, my mistress."
But the next moment, a blue wave fell on him instead.
The sense of paralysis diminished instantly, and Rod hurriedly reached into the gray bag, grabbing the Thunder Stone and pouring all his Spiritual Energy into it.
The Black Priest cursed, "Idiot, it’s me! Heal me!"
A smaller blue wave fell on her, much smaller than the one on Rod.
The Black Priest cursed, "Useless trash! The Desecration Ceremony was wasted on you, I should have chosen White Smoke Egger, it’s just too bad he doesn’t like women taller than him. Pah!"
She stood up and moved quickly towards Rod, but her steps were still unstable, obviously not fully recovered.
Rod shouted, "Don’t come any closer! I still have a Thunder Stone!"
The Black Priest sneered, "You still can activate a Thunder Stone with Spiritual Energy, I’ll kneel down right here and eat the shit you take!"
With her steps quickening, Rod had no choice but to throw out the half-charged Thunder Stone.
"What, you still..."
The Black Priest hurriedly tried to roll away, but since her limbs weren’t cooperating, she was still blasted.
The intense Thunder Light blasted her away again, the tormented priest robe finally turning into fragments, exposing her body wrapped in thick fog. These vaporized Spiritual Power helped her to block a lot of the damage, but couldn’t completely insulate her from the electric shock.
Once again, she heavily fell to the ground, overwhelmed by the paralysis.
Rod was hit by the blast of his own Thunder Stone for the third time, also falling to the ground.
Suddenly, the Black Priest shouted, "Little Karamon, go kill him!"
Karamon pulled out the Black Blade, but walked towards her.
The Black Priest frantically shouted, "It’s him! Him! The man!"
Karamon seemed confused, he turned around twice on the spot, unsure of whom to approach.
The Black Priest angrily said, "What a waste! I shouldn’t have pushed so hard, the Desecration Ceremony messed up his brain. Never mind killing, heal me!"
The blue light fell on Rod again, and the Black Priest’s face under the thick fog almost twisted, "It’s me, you idiot! How did your mother give birth to such a brainless fool? It’s me! Heal your mistress!"
Another smaller blue light fell on her.
The Black Priest gritted her teeth, thinking once I kill that bastard, I’ll come back and deal with you.
As the paralysis abated, she stood up and ran towards Rod quickly. Too much time had been wasted already, and the Curse Spirit Heart had matured unexpectedly early. The current disturbances might be spotted by the large eyes of the White Tower, and she had to complete the ceremony before the new Guardian arrived.
Rod shouted again, "Don’t come any closer, I really still have a Thunder Stone! Don’t believe me? Look!"
A charged Thunder Stone couldn’t be taken out of the gray bag, otherwise, it would explode like a grenade with the pin pulled, its only fate being to explode.
Rod raised the opening of the gray bag, trying to let her see the glowing Thunder Stone in his hand.
"Can’t we both step back? Let me go, and I’ll pretend nothing ever happened."
The Black Priest sneered, "Do you think I’m a three-year-old?"
From her angle, she couldn’t see the Thunder Stone at all.
"I stopped playing those tricks ten years ago. If you still have any Spiritual Energy, I’ll from now on lie in your bathroom to eat your shit and drink your piss!"
