Chapter 384: Chapter 384- It Was Worth It!

Sol had once thought that his Heavenly Eyes were a consequence of this omniscient ability, that anywhere he looked his senses would project there. But in actuality, his Heavenly Eyes was an ability from his crescent moon Enigma, and it could allow him to see things at a distance. After absorbing his bloodline, the limit of being unable to see through things was gone. Meanwhile, his ability to project his senses came from his Holy Crest.

However, despite being separate abilities, they complimented each other perfectly. While using his Heavenly Eyes to see at a distance he would be able to project his senses there with his Omniscient senses. The reason he thought of them as one ability in the first place was because of how seamless they were.

But sadly, his Omniscient senses had a limit and that was two thousand meters.

Sol looked at Cian and chuckled internally.

He knew that Cian had been testing the range of abilities before concocting another plot. However, Sol didn’t care.

After chortling his voice drifted out.

"If you think I can’t reach you from over there then you’re sadly mistaken."

Sol’s eyes flickered with divine radiance as he looked at Cian and spoke a single word.

"Death."

The bright golden light around Sol dimmed after he uttered that word, however, at the same moment he did, Cian’s expression changed for the first time.

A strange curse created from the Worldly Laws outside completely ignored the laws of the Necropolis Domain and seeped inside to suddenly appear inside of his body. It then erupted like a volcano before immediately spreading to his four limbs, which quickly turned black and began to rot.

The curse soon spread to his face and a gruesome sight unfolded as a layer of skin on his face peeled off and landed on the ground.

Black blood spurted from the wound and covered his entire face as well as his body.

This curse was extremely horrific. Only an instant had passed since Sol summoned it but it had already spread throughout Cian’s entire body.

It converged around his heart and burrowed into his mindscape in search of his soul.

Sol watched this familiar scene unfold with a spiteful smile playing on his lips.

However, despite the terrifying nature of this curse, Cian soon returned to his usually expressionless face as he looked down at the curse eating away at his body.

Slowly, he lifted his hand and formed a hand seal.

Sol felt the void tremble and he turned to look up at the sacred torch floating above Cian’s head.

Even after fighting across this desolate plain, they had somehow ended up back where they started.

Sol’s eyes narrowed.

The black flames of the inverted scared torch blazed as it turned upright. The moment it did, the black flames flickered and became pure white. No longer was it giving off a ghastly death aura, but it was now giving off a strong aura of life.

It then began to sway gently, and Cian’s body which was being rage by the curse shone with a bright white light.

Intense fluctuations of life energy radiated from him and forcefully stopped the terrifying curse in its tracks. Like a sun casting away the darkness of the night, the white life energy eradicated the black curse from his body.

The skin and flesh that had fallen off of Cian’s body quickly healed, returning him to his normal condition.

Sol paused when he saw this and stared at the sacred torch in fascination.

"Inverted is death, and upright is life, what a strange ability."

Sol couldn’t help but mutter in amazement. Of course, someone would say the same about his Innate Dharma’s ability to heal any and all types of injuries he sustained, but Cian’s ability seemed more profound than his.

That sacred torch didn’t seem like it would stop at healing his injuries. Sol got the feeling that even if Cian was beheaded and his heart was obliterated, he would be able to recover.

That was beyond what his Innate Dharma could achieve. Well, he had never tested it before.

However, Sol did sense that the suppressive force crushing down on his Heavenly Domain had weakened.

With that, he discovered two weaknesses of this ability.

One, Cian could only use it while he was inside this Necropolis Domain. And two, he can only use it a limited number of times. If he continuously uses this ability, then the Necropolis Domain will exhaust its energy and collapse.

Sol smiled faintly when he made these deductions.

However, that smile froze a bit when he saw Cian making another hand seal.

Tremble.

Tremble.

The entire Necropolis Domain began to tremble as the bone claw that was suspended in mid-air started to activate.

Magical golden symbols flickered to life on its body before a terrifying archaic aura erupted outward.

However, Sol suddenly grinned before he yelled.

"Just in time!"

Sol then let go of the halberd and allowed it to float beside him. Afterward, he began forming hand seals at a rapid pace with his remaining right hand.

Wang~ Wang~

The bracelet hovering over his head started to tremble and the golden runes on it began to shine brightly.

Sol finished his hand seals in the blink of an eye before roaring.

"GO!!!"

Swoosh!!

The bracelets shot toward the firmament and as it did it began to grow larger and larger.

One hundred meters.

Three hundred meters.

Six hundred meters.

Nine hundred meters!

As the bracelets enlarged to a shocking size of nine hundred meters, the void began to shake violently and an archaic aura even more ancient than the bone claw’s own started to radiate outwards.

It seemed as if a Godly Treasure from a Primordial Era was awakening to show its Divine might.

Sol’s expression was pale, and a stabbing pain appeared in his soul.

This was the first time he had used his bracelet in battle since he started cultivating. However, even though he had gained control over it to use it in battle like this, it was still a strain on him to go so overboard right off the bat.

However, it was worth it!

"SEAL!"

Sol roared once again, revealing his true intentions.

The bracelet shot forward causing the space in its path to collapse and the earth below to quiver.

The archaic aura that was erupting from the bone claw clashed with the bracelet’s aura and was instantly smashed like a paper meeting a rock.

The bracelet then covered the bone claw before shrinking a few hundred meters to tightly wrap around it.

Faint sounds of what sounded like the roars of a dragon could be heard echoing out as the bracelet forcefully sealed the bone claw.

The magical golden symbols on its body quickly disappeared, while the archaic aura it was releasing was snuffed out of existence.
