Chapter 300: Chapter 300- Don’t Slack Off

After a few hours, Sol slowly sat up.

His exhaustion wasn’t due to him depleting his Internal Aether Energy, it came from him over-exerting his Willpower. And by the fact that his Willpower was connected to his soul, what was exhausted was his soul.

Thankfully, he had his Innate Dharma.

Normally, the only way for someone to recover from overexerting their souls was to take medicinal pills or simply rest. There were some Martial Arts Techniques that involved cultivating one’s soul that could help as well.

However, each of these methods would take time. But Sol had his Innate Dharma that was more effective in healing his soul than any of these methods.

After sitting up, Sol decided to leave the cave and go outside.

When he was at the entrance, he heard Abdu saying behind him.

"You should take it easy. Remember I said anything involving your soul should be handled with caution."

Sol nodded.

"I know, I won’t overexert myself again. I just want to test something out."

Sol walked to the edge of the clearing.

As he did, he glanced at the area where Yoon-Jea’s attack landed. His once large clearing had shrunk by fifty meters. Sol couldn’t help but feel pity every time he looked at it.

After reaching the edge of the clearing, Sol stared off into the distance for a moment before the bracelets on his wrists detached. They floated behind him as he activated Total Eclipse.

With a swirling dark energy around his body, Sol clenched his fist and struck out.

A large black fist mixed with a bit of golden color in it loomed over Heaven and Earth. It caused the void to tremble as it instantly traversed two hundred meters before slowly dissipating.

Sol was closely observing his Heavenly Domain Fist. As the bracelets clamp back around his wrists he said.

"I knew it, the strength of my Heavenly Domain Fist increased. Is this because I created the Martial Skill? It felt different using this Innate Ability than before."

Before, when Sol was using this Innate Ability, it felt like all he had to do was throw out a punch and the ability would activate. But now it felt like he was actively using this ability.

"Does this mean my Immortal Cultivation can influence my crescent moon bloodline? No, this shouldn’t be a surprise since I could use my crescent moon bloodline to increase the power of my Martial Skills, like when I fought Byeong-Ho inside the Hundred Plants and Herbs Dimension. So, there’s no reason why it can’t work both ways."

Sol looked down at his hand.

"If this is the case then I’m confident my God Race bloodline has improved somewhat as well. As for why these three separate powers can influence each other..."

Sol paused in thought before saying.

"The only connection between them is Willpower. Willpower might be a string that connects all three and brings balance to them."

Sol suddenly wore an awkward expression as he scratched his cheek.

"Well, right now they are far from balanced. My Immortal Cultivation is way behind."

Sol paused once more before saying.

"It’s obvious but I didn’t think much of this before, but the power from my crescent moon bloodline comes from my physical body, while my God Race power and Immortal Cultivation come from my soul and Innate Dharma. Master said it was dangerous to cultivate different energies at the same time but given my situation, it’s perfect for me to cultivate all three."

As Sol was mumbling to himself at the edge of the cliff, the ground below his feet suddenly shook violently.

Sol’s head instantly snapped towards the mountain next to him, the one Mar-Dule was in seclusion on. His pupils gained a dark glow as his gaze pierced through the clouds and landed on the mountain.

Before this, Sol could never have seen through these clouds. In fact, he couldn’t have used his Heavenly Eyes fully without removing one of his bracelets further back.

However, each time Sol fought to his limit his crescent moon bloodline increased along with the abilities that came with it.

After his fight with Byeong-Ho in the Hundred Plants and Herbs dimension where he went all out, he was able to see through a person’s body.

After that was his fight with Elder Hyun-Joo and the Sand King. Not only had the range of his Heavenly Eyes increased, but the one limit it had where he couldn’t see through objects was gone. Although it depended on the density of the object.

Nonetheless, his Heavenly Eyes didn’t work the same as a normal sight that could simply allow him to see from far away anymore.

After Sol’s gaze landed on the mountain, he tried seeing through the temple to watch Mar-Dule.

He had tried doing this before, but he wasn’t able to see through this stone temple at all. However, he could now vaguely make out the interior; a result possibly due to him learning to use Willpower.

Suddenly, the outline of a rotund figure encapsulated by an overbearing blood-red energy rising from the meditation mat below him, turned his gaze to meet Sol’s.

Sol wasn’t surprised by this as he wasn’t making his gaze discreet, plus Mar-Dule’s senses have always been sharp.

Sol saw Mar-Dule give him a shit-eating grin before mouthing the words ’Don’t’ ’Slack’ ’Off.’ He was referring to their bet to see who could reach the Spiritual Realm first.

Afterward, he went back to absorbing his ancestor Mar-Tu’s bloodline.

Sol smiled wearily before looking away.

"Judging by his aura, he should have moved onto his third limb."

This was another improvement of his Heavenly Eyes; he could sense the area where his eyes landed with a few of his five senses.

This wasn’t an unfamiliar feeling to him since this was the same Omnipresence Ability he had promised his Master he wouldn’t use. Just that he had more control over it now, albeit it was weaker.

Sol glanced out at the horizon to see that the sun was about to rise.

A portion of the sky was shattered revealing the dark void, however, it didn’t take away the brilliance of this rising sun. Though Sol suddenly noticed something about the shattered void.

"Hm? I could have sworn it was larger, is it shrinking?"

After pondering for a moment, Sol concluded that after the flames were extinguished the dimension was repairing itself, likely due to the help of ancestor Mar-Tu’s Formation around the dimension.

"Aye, I should follow Mar-Dule’s advice and not slack off!"

Sol turned and then entered the cave.

After he sat down, his attention went to his master’s Seven Runic Paths of Samsara Technique. On his back, it slowly appeared.

It was quite different from how it was after Sol fused it with Su Moon’s Heavenly Canopy Formation.

It still had its heptagon shape, but Su Moon’s formation formed a circle in its center the first time they fused, but another circular appeared on the outside as time went on. His master’s Seven Runic Paths of Samara Technique red lines twisted around Su Moon’s Heavenly Canopy Formation blue lines.

Its design was extremely intricate as if it was created by a world-renowned painter. If it was placed on display surely there would be people who travel across the world to lay eyes on it, even if it’s only for a second.
