Chapter 282: Chapter 282- Dad Get It Together
Abdu stopped in his tracks to turn to look at Sol.
It was extremely strange to hear Sol call this mountain of a man Little Abdu.
"What do you mean?"
Abdu asked confused, so Sol explained.
"You’re not planning on absorbing that Death Energy to recover your cultivation, right? Instead, you plan on taking that Heavenly Palace into your separate space. And if I’m correct, this form you took on should be related to what you intend to do after that."
After saying that, Sol turned to Mar-Du.
Mar-Du nodded.
"Our barbarian Race has no problem if Senior decides to take the Heavenly Palace."
Mar-Du then smiled bitterly.
"If it wasn’t covered in Death Energy then we could have produced someone as strong as the Leader of Shaolin Sect. However..."
Mar-Du words trailed off as he shook his head.
Sol then turned back to Abdu and said.
"By mimicking ancestor Mar-Tu’s appearance you hope to have that Heavenly Palace recognize you. But appearance isn’t enough, try and copy this..."
After saying that, Sol formed a hand seal and sent out his Heavenly Samsara Formation.
Its golden runes effortlessly meld with Mar-Du’s yellow rune so it could operate with more ease.
Sol’s brows then came together as if he was trying to recall something. A moment later, he waved his hands and activated the illusion aspect of his Formation.
Everyone watched in curiosity as the space in front of him warped before a person who was about a foot tall appeared.
He had the same physique as Abdu who was transformed into ancestor Mar-Tu. However, an aura was radiating from him that caused Mar-Du’s pupils to shrink.
This aura was five times stronger, no, ten? Maybe twenty?
The power of this individual was far stronger than what Abdu had copied from their ancestor Mar-Tu.
This person was also wearing a strange red battle armor that would give one the impression that he was a war general who had gone through countless bloody battles. That was extremely evident from the bloody aura wafting from him.
"Look at his forehead."
Sol suddenly said, and everyone instinctively looked at this man’s forehead. There, everyone saw a circular symbol that had complex markings within it.
"Try and copy the aura from this tattoo, but in this shape."
Sol lifted his hand and a similar tattoo on the man’s forehead formed above his palm. However, this tattoo had two lines within it, and both were circles. This formed a three-circle tattoo.
When Mar-Du saw this, his pupils couldn’t help but shrink into pin-size needles once again. This time the shock in his heart was threatening to drown him.
"So that’s how it is, no wonder..."
He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he started muttering to himself.
Sol unnoticibly glanced in his direction before turning back to Abdu and asking.
"Do you understand?"
Abdu nodded, and after a bit, a three-circle tattoo slowly formed on his forehead. Immediately after, his aura suddenly changed.
Mar-Du noticed this, and his eyes darted to Abdu.
Mar-Yue also noticed this change in his aura for some reason as well.
Abdu’s eyes narrowed, and he looked at Sol and said.
"No wonder I felt I wasn’t getting something right, thanks."
Sol smiled and nodded before Abdu turned and took a step forward. His figure vanished from the rune and appeared in the void.
With another step, he closed the distance and reached the damaged Heavenly Palace that was a few hundred meters away.
Everyone watched as he landed on the tilted doorsteps of the Heavenly Palace before casually walking inside, completely unaffected by the Death Energy seeping out of the cracks.
Sol waved his hands and both the three-circle tattoo, and the man disappeared.
Mar-Du glanced at him and was about to ask who that was, however, he stopped himself before looking away.
Sol had noticed his gaze, and he scratched his cheek.
After a few minutes of waiting without any changes to the Heavenly Palace, Sol was starting to get a bit worried. However, at that moment the damaged Heavenly Palace suddenly trembled in the void for a few seconds before vanishing.
In its place was Abdu, who was now back in his cat form.
As if he was on solid ground, Abdu ran towards the yellow rune at a leisurely pace.
After he entered the rune, he didn’t immediately say anything but rather shook his body before sitting down and licking his paw, which he then used to fix his slightly disheveled fur.
Mar-Du seeing this started to fidget with anxiousness, but he didn’t dare rush Abdu.
After a few more licks and grooming, Abdu felt like he had built up sufficient suspense, so he looked at the four who wore anticipated expressions and then said.
"That Immortal Mar-Tu is far more terrifying than anyone had ever thought."
After saying this, Abdu wiggled his paws and three books appeared in front of him.
All three of them were in a pristine condition as if they had just been created. The cover was made from a material that looked to be leather while a single golden string stretched the clear white pages together inside.
On the cover of the books were the words, ’Basics of Blacksmithing,’ ’Complexities of Blacksmithing,’ and ’Essences of Blacksmithing’ respectfully.
The titles were really simple, which shouldn’t come as a surprise.
"I’ve taken a peek inside if you don’t mind, and I can confirm with these books your Barbarian Race has recovered their lost Blacksmithing Legacy."
Abdu said before he started licking his paw again.
Mar-Du in response suddenly dived toward the books before anyone could react.
He lost all semblance of a calm, powerful cultivator, and Tribe Leader as he hurriedly picked up one book after the other and flipped them open.
Mar-Du restrained himself from clenching the books in his shaking hands as tears appeared in the corner of his eyes.
Everyone smiled awkwardly at Mar-Du’s uncomposed reaction.
But Mar-Du didn’t care about his appearance at the moment, he suddenly raised his head to the sky and released a round of booming laughter.
Several mountains’ worth of pressure that had piled onto his shoulders ever since he had become the Tribe Leader was suddenly lifted.
How could he not have such a reaction?
Mar-Dule suddenly looked at his father who was kneeling with his head back laughing like a madman. He kicked his foot and said.
"Dad, get it together."
