Chapter 260: Chapter 260- Well, It Seems Like He’s A Crybaby
Sol nodded and said.
"It’s my pet beast, he’s being treated by Headmaster Young-Hwa, but if I don’t get the Deep Autumn Flower he’ll die from Aether Poisoning."
"Aether Poison? I see. There have been a few cases amongst our Tribe members because some were unable to maintain balance over the multiple Elemental Runes in their Rune Circuit. I’m sorry to hear that about your pet beast. Is there a time limit on when you need the Deep Autumn Flower?"
Sol paused but eventually said.
"No, Headmaster Young-Hwa said he’ll be able to keep the poison at bay until I return with the Deep Autumn Flower. But despite that, I don’t feel good prolonging getting it."
Mar-Du nodded and then said.
"So you want it as quickly as possible. However, I’m sorry to say..."

Just outside the large tent, Mar-Yue was walking and chatting with a few other girls. She happened to look over and spot Sol talking to a few kids.
She then watched him leave and enter the tent.
"Right, Big Sis?"
"Huh? Oh, I’m sorry, what were you saying?"
Mar-Yue said returning her focus to the conversation.
"Big Sis, what were you so distracted by that you weren’t even listening to us?"
One girl asked and another answered.
"It was that handsome boy called Sol. He was just at Uncle Mar-Du’s tent."
"Oh? Big Sis, why would you be so distracted by him? Don’t tell me you’re planning on making a move on him Big Sis?"
"Huh? Where did you get that idea from?"
A confused expression appeared on Mar-Yue’s face, but the girls weren’t buying her act.
"Big Sis, didn’t you say you wanted to marry him?"
"Wah-When did you hear me saying something like that?"
"Ah, Big Sis, stop acting."
"Right, you said ’a refined lady should marry someone talented and attractive, like that boy who fought with Byeong-Ho of the Huashan Sect.’ Those were the words you told us exactly."
"Yeah, you even said we shouldn’t settle for the muscle-heads around us and we should raise our standards. When we asked what was your type, you said someone who wouldn’t lose out to you in looks, but was just as talented as you."
"Yeah, you also told us-"
"Ah, that’s enough, you all can stop now. It’s not like he’s the only talented and good-looking boy in the world. Why would I fall for him?"
"Oh, so you admit he’s good-looking?"
The girls all laughed when they saw Mar-Yue started blushing.
"Big Sis, if you aren’t planning on going after him then that means he’s free game."
"That’s right, you can’t stop us from going after him now."
Mar-Yue huffed and said.
"So? I don’t care what you girls do."
The girls all smiled, and soon their conversation topic centered around who was more likely to get Sol to notice them.
After listening to them talk and plan on how to approach Sol, Mar-Yue started to feel a bit of regret saying what she did.
....
...
..
It was a few hours later and the sun was about to set.
Mar-Yue was about to head back to her tent.
On her way, she was passing by her father’s tent but paused when she saw Sol coming out.
’That’s right, didn’t he owe me some Spirit Beast meat?’
After finding a reason to approach Sol, Mar-Yue changed her destination and made her way over. However, just as she was about to call out to Sol, she hesitated.
Sol’s expression was rather strange.
She then saw that pretty boy came up to him and started patting his back.
Afterward, she saw Sol use his sleeves to wipe his eyes. Mar-Yue after seeing this thought to herself.
’Ah, is he crying? I want to see.’
Mar-Yue then felt a bit jealous of that pretty boy for being able to see Sol cry.
Soon, Mar-Dule came out of the tent and Mar-Yue made her way over to him.
"Hey, fatty."
Mar-Dule flinched and was suddenly about to run away, but Mar-Yue stopped him.
"Idiot, I’m not here to torment you. I just wanted to ask what happened inside the tent."
Mar-Dule hesitated but stopped and said.
"Why? Nothing happened in there."
Mar-Dule didn’t want Mar-Yue to find out about the Sand King’s meat. She would definitely demand he gave her his portion before asking Uncle Mar-Numu for hers.
"If nothing happened why did Sol leave crying?"
"Huh? He was crying?"
Mar-Dule became worried, and he was about to leave to go find Sol.
"Wait, are just going to leave without answering me?"
Mar-Dule immediately stopped in his tracks and he turned to patiently explain.
"It was about the Deep Autumn Flower Sol needed to help his pet beast. Father said the dimension has already opened for the fourth time this year. So it won’t open until next year, which is three months away. And even then the dimension isn’t known to open in the early months of the year. So Sol probably has to wait at least half a year to get the Deep Autumn Flower."
Mar-Yue paused, then asked.
"Isn’t there any stockpile?"
"Yeah, there was, but it ran out when Father gave you the last two."
Mar-Dule then sighed and said.
"I wish you had at least one left, Big Sis. If that was the case Sol wouldn’t be so down, and we could have had a different experience coming here. It’s my first-time bringing friends back home."
Mar-Yue was silent as she looked at her brother.
"It’s my first time seeing you so worried over someone like this. Are you two really that close?"
"Actually, I only met him a few months ago. But Sol is the type of person once you start talking to him, you’ll find yourself looking for random reasons to interact with him again. He’s a great person to be around."
A blush was creeping up Mar-Yue’s neck, but she diverted her attention by saying.
"Well, it seems like he’s a crybaby."
"Oh, right! He was crying!"
Mar-Dule said before he turned to run off, but before he left, he paused and said to Mar-Yue.
"Sol isn’t a crybaby, in fact, he’s not the type of person to cry easily. He’s the type of person to smile even when he’s uncomfortable just to be considerate of your feelings."
Mar-Dule then dashed off before Mar-Yue could say anything.
Hearing that, Mar-Yue felt her stomach sink a little before she muttered.
"What, so you’re saying he was uncomfortable around me?"
