Chapter 233: Chapter 233- Injuries
Asung-Hei laughed.
"Then answer me this. Why would the Wudang Sect, a Sect famous for its Martial Arts that seek balance, as well as being a Sect that produces outstanding sword geniuses and only accepts those with Sword Innate Dharmas, be in charge of the Irregular Dharma Pavilion in the Martial Alliance Academy? I’ll tell you why, it’s because they’re using this place as a farming ground to steal unique Innate Dharmas from disciples of lower backgrounds and give it to disciples born from Elders in their Sects."
"Bullshit."
Woo-Seong suddenly whispered, before his hand shot toward Asung-Hei’s throat.
Sol who was silent all this while, wasn’t able to stop Woo-Seong’s sudden movement.
However, before Woo-Seong’s hand could latch onto his throat, a green rune appeared inside Asung-Hei’s visible pupil.
In that split second, the Metal Aether Energy in the surroundings swiftly coalesced into a black rune to block Woo-Seong’s hand.
With a loud bang, the half-constructed defensive rune shattered under Woo-Seong’s physical strength and caused Asung-Hei to be knocked out of his seat.
Asung-Hei rolled on the ground and quickly got up while clutching at his bandaged eye that was bleeding. However, he didn’t have to time recover as Woo-Seong appeared in front of him with his already-drawn sword stabbing toward his neck.
Asung-Hei instinctively raised his hand to protect himself, which resulted in Woo-Seong’s sword stabbing through it
"Ahh!"
Blood splattered as Asung-Hei released a painful scream.
Woo-Seong then grabbed Asung-Hei’s throat and slammed him onto the ground. He also drove his sword all the way through Asung-Hei’s hand; pinning it to the ground all the way up to the hilt.
Asung-Hei released another scream of pain, but Woo-Seong squeezed his neck shutting him up.
This took a while to explain, but it all happened extremely fast.
But by the time Woo-Seong started choking Asung-Hei, Sol appeared next to him and grabbed his hand.
"Woo-Seong, stop."
Woo-Seong turned to glare at Sol.
"Let me go, Sol. I’m going to kill this bastard for taking my brother from me."
"If you kill him then you’re just covering up what your Wudang Sect did. At that point, you’re just as guilty."
"Ha-Haha, he’s already guilty, can’t you see? He knows about everything that’s why he wants to kill me. Who did you think made it so Geon-Soo got my brother’s Innate Dharma? His mother who abandoned him? His father who didn’t care for him? It was him."
"SHUT UP!!"
Woo-Seong yelled at Asung-He and tried to squeeze his neck, but Sol’s hand tightened around his wrist.
"You-You’re lying. Father wouldn’t do something like that. I only asked him to help Geon-Soo awaken a good Innate Dharma, why would he steal your brother’s Innate Dharma? I don’t believe you."
Woo-Seong’s hand wanted to tighten around Asung-Hei’s throat again, but Sol’s grip prevented him.
Sol’s expression had already turned cold.
If what Asung-Hei said was true, then Woo-Seong had no right to kill him. In fact, the entire Wudang Sect should be killed for what they did to Song-Oh and Seong. Sol had made a promise to Son.
"Release him Woo-Seong, or I’ll take it as you trying to cover up your Sect’s atrocities. As the Head Disciple of the Disciplinary Pavilion, I will see to it that you and your Sect are put on trial for what they did."
"Do you really believe him? My Sect did no such thing! He’s just lying to save himself!"
"S-See, he’s guilty, there’s no changing that rotten personality. I bet your Innate Dharma was stolen from someone just like your brother."
BANG!
A terrifying aura suddenly erupted from Woo-Seong’s body, and an illusory sword made of Earth Aether Energy materialized in a brilliant yellow light behind him. The sword’s Tier 7 Innate Dharma aura radiated outward, and as a result, it felt like the gravity in the surroundings had multiplied by several folds.
After releasing his Innate Dharma, Woo-Seong glared at Asung-Hei and said.
"Do you think I would need to steal someone’s Innate Dharma? Who do you think I am?"
"You’re only showing this one. Who’s to say you don’t have a second Innate Dharm that’s been stolen?"
"Bastard, what second Innate Dharma! I never stole anyone’s Innate Dharma and neither did my Brother!!"
Sol who was holding Woo-Seong’s hand, glanced at him with a dark light in one of his eyes.
’It’s gone.’
Sol realized that the green light from the Wood-type Innate Dharma he saw in Woo-Seong’s body before was gone.
But it couldn’t just get up and left.
’Is it hidden away? But why did I see it before?’
As this question appeared in Sol’s mind, he remembered under what conditions he saw Woo-Seong’s second Innate Dharma. It was while he was breaking and healing his hand repeating using his own Wood-type Innate Dharma.
It wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility that Woo-Seong’s second Innate Dharma was revealed due to him using his Wood Aether Energy to heal him.
’But this means he doesn’t know he has a second Innate Dharma. Was it given to him unknowingly? But his second Innate Dharma should be around Tier Three or Tier Four. Why would someone give him such an Innate Dharma unknowingly? Unless it wasn’t, and it was awakened naturally. But is that possible? To awaken a second Innate Dharma way past the age of thirteen?’
Sol had many questions, but he suddenly felt his entire stomach churn. He hurriedly covered his mouth as blood spurted out and seeped through his fingers to land on Woo-Seong and Asung-Hei, who turned to look at him in shock.
"Retrieve your Innate Dharma!"
Gion yelled at Woo-Seong as he rushed to Sol.
Despite his shock, Woo-Seong hurriedly retrieved his Innate Dharma.
Sol’s grip on his hand loosened, and Woo-Seong quickly reached out and caught him before he could hit the ground.
Looking at Sol’s face which was completely drained of blood, Woo-Seong began to panic a little.
"Wah-What happened? Why are you so injured all of a sudden? Is this because of me?"
Woo-Seong thought Sol was injured because he suddenly released his Innate Dharma, but he fought Sol before, surely something like this wouldn’t be able to faze him.
"N-No, it’s not you."
Gion already reached Sol’s side and he did a quick scan over his body with his Soul Energy.
His expression immediately changed.
"You were actually fighting with this kind of injury? Are you crazy? You should be in seclusion trying to heal your wounds, you shouldn’t even be walking around in your current condition!"
