Chapter 178: Chapter 178- The Forgotten Sect Will Never Be Forgotten!!

After the destruction had calmed down somewhat, Dae Han opened his eyes, but he didn’t move, he didn’t even breathe.

His presence had completely vanished.

In the sky above the Pavilion, Elder Hyun-Joo was coldly staring at the destruction she had created.

Around her neck was a necklace that had a small white stone at the end.

"Get out, I know you’re still here."

Elder Hyun-Joo silently waited but hearing nothing, she narrowed her beautiful eyes and said.

"If you don’t come out on the count of two then I’ll destroy this entire building."

Dae Han cursed this crazy woman in his heart.

Before Elder Hyun-Joo could start counting, a pile of rubble near the door shifted and Dae Han’s figure was revealed.

"I should have known you were the spy. Surren-"

Hyun-Joo was just about to tell Dae Han to surrender himself, but she caught a glimpse of the necklace around his neck and froze.

"I-Impossible, how do you have that necklace?!"

Hyun-Joo immediately lost her cool.

It was during that moment Dae Han saw the white stone around her neck as well and he was at first dumbfounded, but quickly his eyes turned cold and rage erupted in his heart.

"Thieving bitch, I should be the one asking you that! How dare you wear our Sect’s Founding Treasure like some fucking accessory?!!"

Hyun-Joo quickly recovered from her initial surprise before saying coldly.

"This is an item I received from mother, it has no relation to your Sect."

"Bullshit! That’s our Forgotten Sect’s Founding Treasure! If you’re telling the truth then your mother is the thieving bitch!"

Despite Dae Han’s insults, Hyun-Joo was relatively calm as she raised her hand while saying.

"Forgotten Sect? I do recall reading books that said you Demonic Cultivators used to call yourselves that in the past. But maybe you should live up to your Sect’s name and stay forgotten."

Hyun-Joo extended her slender index finger and pointed at Dae Han.

With a mere point, the space in front of her distorted and a Martial Skill was about to be sent Dae Han’s way.

Dae Han seemed to ignore it as he lowered his head. However, his shoulders began trembling.

"Ha-Haha-HAHAHAHA!!!"

Dae Han raised his head to the sky and released a burst of bellowing laughter, one that was filled with indescribable anger and hatred.

"Even though I’m not an original member of the Forgotten Sect! Even though I’m just a lone remnant disciple who couldn’t even begin to understand what my seniors went through!!"

Dae Han stopped and glared at Hyun-Joo. With a flip of his hand, a black jade slip appeared in his palm.

Hyun-Joo paused her attack when she saw that jade slip.

"What is that?"

A horrible feeling suddenly began to rise in her heart for some reason.

Dae Han grinned maliciously.

"Thieving bitch with that thieving mother of yours. I bet you’re from one of the Six Holy Sects or Five Great Clans. You say our Sect should remain forgotten, but this is just the beginning!"

Crack!

Dae Han suddenly crushed the black jade slip without warning.

As if realizing what Dae Han was about to do, Hyun-Joo began to panic.

"No!"

She instantly reacted and flew to grab Dae Han. She thought he was about to blow himself up.

If that were to happen the Forgotten Sect’s Yang Celestial Stone would be damaged. If she could obtain it, she would be able to combine it with her Yin Celestial Stone and have an Immortal Treasure!

How shocked she was in the past to discover this unassuming Divine Artifact that was dismissively handed to her was one half of a legendary item of the past!

She searched and searched for the other half but lost hope decades ago.

How could she let it slip past her after it fell into her lap out of nowhere?

However, her speculation that Dae Han was planning to blow himself up was wrong.

Completely and utterly wrong.

A split second after the jade slip was crushed... BOOOOM!!!!!

A loud explosion that rocked Pearl City echoed out. Everyone then watched with horror as a cloud of smoke rose into the sky from a certain area in the City.

The sudden explosion in the City caught Hyun-Joo off guard and it made her pause to look at the pillar of smoke.

However, as she looked at it, Hyun-Joo recognized the location where that explosion came from and the building that was now engulfed in flames.

"That-That’s the Namgung Clan’s Main Armory Branch. You-!!"

Hyun-Joo snapped her head towards Dae Han, but her face froze when she saw him take out three more black jade slips.

"Don’t you dare!!"

Having realized what Dae Han was really about to do, her figure blurred towards him.

But she was too late, Dae Han crushed the three black jade slips.

The Shoaling Temple, the Jeagal Clan, and the Wudang Sect.

All three of the businesses that they were using to siphon resources out of Pearl City were suddenly up in flames.

Hyun-Joo had to pause once again to look at the scene in absolute shock.

It was simply absurd.

How dare someone destroy their businesses like this?

"HAHAHAHA!!!"

Dae Han’s maniacal laughter roared out.

"I’ve been planning this for four years! Do you think I would simply go after your Multidimensional Teleportation Array?! Are you all stupid to not even consider this possibility?!"

Dae Han suddenly flipped over his hand and took out another black jade slip.

Hyun-Joo swished her sleeves and a storm-like power burst forth to rip Dae Han to shreds. She momentarily forgot her desire for the Yang Celestial Stone and focused on stopping Dae Han’s crazy actions.

However, he managed to leap out of the way in time. Though the attack caused the rest of the Pavilion to be destroyed.

Hyun-Joo hurriedly flew down to search for him, but she suddenly heard another loud explosion that shook Pearl City.

She turned to look, and when she saw that it was her Emei Sect’s business her eyes became bloodshot.

"BASTARD!!! YOU DARE!!!"

However, after her mad howl of anger, Dae Han suddenly laughed at her mockingly.

"HAHAHAHA!! YOU PEOPLE FROM THE SIX HOLY SECTS AND FIVE GREAT CLANS WON’T EVER LIVE IN PEACE FOR AS LONG AS I, DAE HAN LIVE! YOU WANT TO ERASE OUR EXISTENCE BUT WE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!! MY FORGOTTEN SECT WILL BE REMEMBERED!!!"

Dae Han’s words were filled with conviction the likes of which Hyun-Joo had never heard before.

"Such a person... Such a person should not remain alive."
