Chapter 147: Chapter 147- Get Lost!
"No way, did Brother Sol really kill someone from the Wudang Sect?"
"Are you kidding? How can you believe that bastard? Brother Sol isn’t that type of person!"
Another disciple who was next to this person suddenly snorted and said without looking at him.
"You must have his dick in your mouth for you to be saying stuff like that."
The youth who was defending Sol turned red and glared at this person.
The person who just insulted him was wearing the alchemy disciples’ yellow robes, so as it turns out not everyone looked at Sol favorably.
"Bastard, even if you don’t like Brother Sol, it’s obvious this Yun-Soo is just here to cause trouble for him."
"Think you idiot. Haven’t you seen how violent that bastard can become in the Martial Pagoda? Who’s to say he didn’t snap and kill someone from the Wudang Sect, we’re in this dimension so maybe he thought he could get away with it."
The disciple defending Sol immediately refuted this person’s claim.
"Okay, keep his dick in your mouth. When evidence is presented you’ll see he isn’t so innocent as you people think he is."
Yun-Soo still had his forehead pressed up against Sol’s own and was giving him a death glare.
"Bastard, do you dare deny what you did?"
"I didn’t kill anyone from your Wudang Sect."
As if he was expecting Sol’s answer, Yun-Soo snared before flipping over his palm and taking out a jade slip from his storage ring.
He then shoved the jade slip into Sol’s chest.
"What do you have to say for yourself now?"
Sol took a step back because of Yun-Soo’s push and grabbed the jade slip. When he looked down at it in his hand, he realized it was broken; split into two halves.
When the crowd saw this they gasped and then erupted into a cacophony of noises.
The youth in the crowd who was accusing Sol from before was smirking, meanwhile, the youth who was defending Sol was looking at the broken jade slip in shock.
Sol didn’t know what this jade slip was, but from the crowd, he managed to hear that it was a life-bound jade slip.
A life-bound jade slip was attached to someone’s life signature, so if that person dies then the life-bound jade slip would break.
As for faking a life-bound jade slip being broken by someone’s death, it couldn’t be done because there was a stark contrast to it breaking when someone purposefully did it, as opposed to it breaking due to someone dying.
Perfect split in the middle, the dull gray coloration of it, those were all visible signs that it wasn’t faked.
Everyone in the crowd believed that someone from the Wudang Sect’s camp was actually murdered, but now they were wondering if the culprit was Sol.
Looking up from the life-bound jade slip, Sol said.
"This doesn’t prove I did anything. How can you just accuse me of killing a fellow disciple with this little evidence?"
"Bastard, I know it was you! You’re the only one who has a grudge against my Wudang Sect to want to kill one of my Sect members! I’m not leaving until I get answers!!"
Each time Yun-Soo spoke, he would aggressively stab Sol’s chest with his finger, almost provokingly.
Sol’s face harden at Yun-Soo’s behavior and his spiteful nature arose.
Sol lifted his right as if he was about to attack Yun-Soo.
Yun-Soo’s response to this was to have a flash of sinister glow appear deep within his eyes.
However, Sol’s right hand suddenly stopped at Yun-Soo’s eye level before he unfurled his fist to release the life-bound jade slip that was now dust.
Yun-Soo’s gaze involuntarily glanced towards Sol’s right hand, and at that moment Sol’s left hand came striking from Yun-Soo’s blind side.
With a loud ’Pah’ Yun-Soo recoiled from the slap before looking at Sol with disbelief.
His left cheek was red and numb.
Sol had just slapped him.
But this wasn’t an ordinary slap, Yun-Soo had felt his mind buzz before the force of the slap traveled throughout his entire body. This caused his body to have involuntary shivers and he stumbled back a few more steps.
The crowd of disciples all froze and became deathly silent.
Sol let his left hand fall to his side before he looked at Yun-Soo and asked.
"What’s wrong? I thought you did this to get a reaction out of me, but now that you got it why do you look so confused? Do you want me to slap you again for good measure?"
"BASTARD!!"
Yun-Soo’s anger kicked in and he took a wide stride toward Sol; his hand was grabbing the sword on his hip.
"Fuck off."
Before Yun-Soo could approach Sol, a thin icicle shot up from beneath him aiming to leave a second hole in his gullet.
Luckily, Yun-Soo managed to stop in his tracts and retreat. But as he did, everyone could see that he didn’t escape being injured because he was fast enough to dodge the icicle, but because the icicle had stopped before puncturing his throat.
After Yun-Soo stumbled back awkwardly, he felt liquid running down his clothes from his throat.
There was a small nick on his neck.
Yun-Soo was so enraged that he turned to Yoon-Jae and roared.
"You revolting man whore, what if you had killed me?!!"
All the alchemy disciples suddenly had their eyes go wide when they heard this before turning to glance at Yoon-Jae.
Yoon-Jae’s face stiffen, but his tone suddenly dropped low to an almost murderous level as he said.
"Continue talking and I’ll make sure you will never be able to in the future."
Beneath Yoon-Jae’s foot was a trail of ice that led to the icicle. Both cracked before shattering into shards of ice as Yoon-Jae took a step forward.
Yun-Soo instinctively took a step back when Yoon-Jae stepped forward.
In truth, he had been avoiding Yoon-Jae’s annoyed gaze all this while.
The only reason he dare to yell at him like that was because Sol’s slap had rattled his brain. Couple with Yoon-Jae’s attack it pushed him over the edge and he let those words slip.
If he could take them back he would.
"Yoon-Jae, I have no enmity with you. I apologize for calling you that name."
Yun-Soo said nervously as Yoon-Jae came to stand next to Sol.
"Get loss."
Yoon-Jae said coldly.
Sol meanwhile, glanced between Yun-Soo and Yoon-Jae.
Now that he thought about it, he didn’t know what Yoon-Jae was like in the academy. That was along with his background he had been meaning to ask him about.
He knew Yoon-Jae was one of the Rising Stars outside of the Heaven Arena, but it looked like there was another side to him Sol didn’t know about and no dared address.
When Yoon-Jae told Yun-Soo to get lost, he gritted his teeth.
He didn’t want to get into conflict with Yoon-Jae, after all, he was unlike Sol who didn’t come from a powerful background. However, he was also unwilling to back down.
"No! A member of my Wudang Sect died here and I want answers! If I don’t get them then my Sect will after this dimension is open."
Yoon-Jae’s eyes narrowed at Yun-Soo’s threat.
"You said a member of your Wudang Sect died here, but what is he doing here in the first place? This is the territory of the Alchemy Pavilion, not the Irregular Dharma Pavilion. In fact, how dare you come here demanding answers when you aren’t even a part of our Martial Alliance Academy?"
"Yeah, that’s right, isn’t he being too arrogant for someone who failed to get accepted into our Academy? Who is he to boss us around?"
"I agree, if it wasn’t for the Wudang Sect would he even have the right to enter this dimension with us?"
"As Brother Yoon-Jae said, hurry and get lost you fucker!"
The alchemy disciples remembered they were better than this Yun-Soo and started cursing at him.
Yun-Soo’s nostrils flared in anger.
"Stop changing the topic. It’s well known that the Pavilions secretly send disciples into the Alchemy Pavilion because your Master refuses to allow them to enter otherwise. No doubt this bastard figured this out and killed him!"
Yun-Soo aggressively pointed at Sol as he said this.
Sol was starting to get annoyed at being constantly accused.
"Sol don’t, that’s what he wants."
Yoon-Jae said, stopping Sol.
"I know, that’s why I only slapped him the first time."
"No, I saw you Sol, you were going to punch him if I didn’t stop you with that icicle."
"It’s because the bastard keeps accusing me of something I didn’t do, I was only going to break a few of his bones."
"And then he could have used that as a springboard to cause more problems. Also, the other Pavilions might even join in and forced the Academy Headmaster to take action by confiscating a majority of the medicinal plants the Academy Pavilion collected."
Sol didn’t know the relationship between the Alchemy Pavilion and the other Pavilions was that bad.
He then realized he almost made a blunder.
"I’m sorry."
