Chapter 146: Chapter 146- Something Wasn’t Right

After Yoon-Jae went back to resting on the ground, Sol glanced at the papers in front of him. They were reports from group members about their grievances.

After grimacing at the amount, Sol pushed them away slightly, wanting to take a break from dealing with them.

"Brother Yoon-Jae, is this something you deal with on a daily basis as the Head Disciple of the Alchemy Pavilion? Doesn’t it get tiring?"

"That’s why you should hurry up and snatch the position like you said you would. I need a break after doing this for nearly two years."

"But I’m starting to have second thoughts. Why don’t you hand it over to someone else to save you the trouble?"

Yoon-Jae’s head suddenly shot up from the ground and he looked at Sol before responding.

"Are you kidding? If someone wants this position then I’ll gladly give it to them, but they have to outperform me in alchemy first. Otherwise, this position stays with me!"

Thud

Yoon-Jae let his face drop back onto the ground.

Sol shook his head before he turned his attention to Little Zeel who was sleeping on top of a few papers next to him.

He rubbed his fur for a bit.

Currently, Sol was extremely worried. Little Zeel hadn’t woken up once in the last week.

’He’s never slept this long before, I hope he’s alright.’

Sol was planning on carrying Little Zeel to see Young-Hwa after he exit this dimension. In fact, if it weren’t for the dimension being closed, he would have left before the month was up.

But now he had to wait and hope Little Zeel’s condition didn’t worsen.

Abdu who was laying on top of Sol’s head, opened one of his eyes to look at Little Zeel.

After a few seconds, he closed it and tried to return to his sleep. However, Sol suddenly asked.

"Little Abdu, are you awake?"

"Yes."

Abdu opened his eyes.

"Do you know what’s happening to Little Zeel?"

Abdu remained silent for a moment then said.

"It’s Aether Poisoning."

Sol’s heart dropped, however, Abdu assured.

"It’s not as bad as it sounds, it just means this little guy’s body was introduced to Aether Energy too soon. The Aether Energy inside of him now is chaotic, especially the six Aether Elements."

"Is there any way to help him?"

"Yes, but you should only interfere when it’s the last option. For now, all you have to do is wait, he needs to regulate the Aether Energy inside of his body himself. If he receives help then he’ll never be able to do so on his own."

When Sol heard that, the worry in his heart calmed down a bit.

"I know you can do this Little Zeel. And I’ll be here to help you if you need it, I promise."

Abdu watched as Sol rub Little Zeel’s fur, and a bit of jealousy actually appeared in his heart.

But he only closed his eyes to go back to sleep. However, he suddenly reopened them to see that Sol’s hand was hovering over his head.

Abdu remained still.

When Sol saw this he lowered his hand and patted Abdu’s head.

"Thanks, Little Abdu."

Sol then retrieved his hand after a few pats, knowing Abdu didn’t like to be petted too much.

"When are you going back to the Inner Court?"

Abdu asked, and Yoon-Jae hearing this lifted his head.

"You’re going back?"

Sol nodded but then added.

"However, I’ll wait until the Teleportation Array is fixed."

Yoon-Jae didn’t hesitate to say.

"Then count me in, I want to explore this dimension too."

Sol smiled.

"Sure, and we’ll have Little Abdu protecting us if we stumble into Spiritual Realm existences."

Sol glanced up at Abdu, but the latter merely kept his eyes close and went back to sleep.

Suddenly, an alchemy disciple with a sword strapped to his waist came running into the courtyard.

"Brother Sol! Brother Yoon-Jae! You need to come outside now!"

Sol quickly stood up from his chair, and Yoon-Jae sprang up from the ground as well.

"What happened outside? Did a fight break out?"

"Yes, but it’s not between our alchemy disciples, someone from the Wudang Sect’s camp came to cause us trouble!"

For some reason, Little Abdu raised his head when he heard the mention of the Wudang Sect. It seemed like the name made him remember something.

Meanwhile, Sol frowned when he heard the Wudang Sect, but Yoon-Jae’s eyes narrowed as he asked.

"Weren’t there reports of Wudang Sect’s disciples snatching medicinal herbs from a few of our groups?"

Sol nodded.

"It looks like it wasn’t a coincidence, they’re trying to cause us trouble. Probably because of me."

Sol immediately stepped forward, followed by Yoon-Jae and the disciple who came running in.

When Sol stepped outside of the ruined Pavilion, he saw a group of disciples in red robes pushing and shoving the alchemy disciples as they approached the ruined Palace.

In truth, they were disciples from the Irregular Dharma Pavilion, but everyone knew the various Sects that were mixed within the Pavilions were acting on their own in this Dimension. That’s why the disciple who came to report to them used Wudang Sect instead of the Irregular Dharma Pavilion.

Sol glanced around at the red-robed disciples who looked like mostly second-year and third-years, a few of them probably open acupoints in more than two of their limbs, especially the third-years.

Sol’s gaze then stopped on the youth in the middle.

Despite looking around twelve or thirteen, this youth seemed like the leader. As the other disciples harassed the alchemy disciples, he was glancing into the hole that had the teleportation array inside.

Sol’s eyes immediately narrowed when he saw this youth.

It wasn’t Geon-Soo like he thought, he might not have entered this dimension like most of the Young Masters from the Sects and Clans. However, this person was extremely eye-catching since he wasn’t wearing the red robe of the Irregular Dharma Pavilion.

Instead, this youth was wearing black robes with golden embroidery.

The words ’Wudang Sect’ was proudly written on his chest for all to see as well.

When the youth saw Sol exit the ruined Pavilion, he immediately stepped forward and greeted him with a smile.

"Brother Sol, my name is Yun-Soo. I came here first to send my Older Brother’s regards to Brother Sol."

Sol walked down the steps of the ruined Pavilion with a frown.

"Who is your Brother?"

The youth’s smile turned into a grin as he said.

"Geon-Soo."

Sol stopped at the bottom of the steps and calmly asked.

"Anything else? If not then leave."

Yun-Soo suddenly took a wide step forward and said.

"Actually, there is one more thing I came here for..."

Yun-Soo stopped in front of Sol and without hesitation... BANG!

He slammed his forehead against Sol’s own.

As the scarily loud sound of Yun-Soo’s head slam echoed out, the disciples gasped not expecting Yun-Soo to do something like this.

Sol, and even Abdu laying on his head looking on casually, didn’t so much as flinch from the headbutt. Sol merely wore a placid expression like nothing had just occurred.

"Brother Sol, as you can see I’m very angry right now..."

Yun-Soo’s smiling expression never left his face, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes.

"...I came here for answers. You killed a disciple of my Wudang Sect and I want to know why."

Immediately shocked exclamations erupted from the crowd.

Both Sol, as well as Yoon-Jae who was behind him, were frowning.

They were smart youths that sensed something wasn’t right.

Yun-Soo wasn’t faking his anger, he truly was angry.
