The military General that came here was not as renowned in the world when compared to figures from Cynark or Yethel, where the Generals get the chance to show their will as well as their ability to lead due to the way Pulgasari has escaped all its fights through negotiations and diplomacy.

The greatest tool of the modern age, but rarely used in countries where the Head is chosen through strength instead of one’s ability to lead.

Of course, it doesn’t mean they were cowards. Diplomacy is only useful if the opponent is someone you can hold a conversation with in peace and with civilized people. "Red from CBI, you don’t know how long I have waited for you."

"Officer Red, I was informed you were the first to reach here. Though introductions are in order, I am General Kolkus Firebark" General Kolkus spoke while showing a bright smile, before his gaze turned to Remira who also got off the jeep, along with the woman she carried on her back.

"I must presume, you are the knight that caused all of this?" He asked, obviously showing some disdain towards her, after learning she was a human.

Humans, were not that beloved during the past few days. And as someone belonging to the conservative part of the military, he held some prejudiced views of these humans.

One shouldn’t forget, that the infamous company was built around the operations and research of a human Doctor Ivankov Letzer. The one who caused a heinous accident in the city not too long ago was also Human.

A couple of humans with one giant woman and a thin man.

’Hmm?’ His mind was sharp, although he doesn’t remember the sketches from the reports, he remembers the slightly identifiable details about them just in case.

And it would seem it turned out to be useful today.

"If you mean, crying for help, then you stand correct." Remira easily read into the mood of the General, who was also a Master Level, just like her. "Of course General, you should know who that is?" Red suddenly smiled, making Remira a bit curious over what he meant, before that curiosity soon turned into wonder as if some things clicked.

"The terrorist that was involved in the terror incident." He spoke after giving Red a long look.

He seemed to have understood what he had to do here.

"A terrorist?" Remira knew that something odd was going to happen the moment Red had someone backing him up. But she didn’t expect it to happen so fast.

Not to mention, what did these men mean by terrorist?

’That man.’

It was only now that Remira understood that keeping this woman safe would be harder than she thought initially.

Because at least before, she could have used her identity to ask for dual custody of this prisoner, which in a way would make it easier for Remira to ensure that this woman lives to see the end of the day.

But now, that seems hard, as this woman seemed to be some sort of terrorist.

’I didn’t get any update of such an incident before?’

Although most of the information inside Bothal had been blocked off for the past few months, with most being unaware of the reasons, it didn’t mean The Radiant Knights would be unaware of such details.

’It’s something higher-tiered and out of my reach.’ Remira knew that whatever this terrorist incident they were speaking of was not a normal one.

"General, from your words, it would seem you intend to take over her custody?" Remira asked and the General nodded in response. "Although a mortal, she is a capable sniper who has been involved in multiple assassination incidents in the city."

"A national level criminal." There was not much emotion to his voice, what he said was all done out of courtesy toward this woman who possessed the same strength as him, not to mention, someone from Radiant Knights.

Otherwise, with his current hatred for Humans that had been reignited by the recent incidents, he wouldn’t have bothered talking with Remira and just forcefully took Sheva out of Remira’s hand.

"You say a mortal is capable of all of that?" There were some questions that Remira wanted to ask, but she knew that nothing could be done for the moment. She lacked too much information to make a proper choice.

"There were her companions, the most famous of which was a man... " At this point, Red paused before turning to look at the General. "I think I saw his body... along with a few more points of interest." Then turning his hands toward a logistic soldier, who was conveying the details to others in the city. "Bring me the map of the area."

"No, I can assure you that the man you saw was not the one that might have been with her." Remira was first to point this out before she looked to the General and continued. "The one to die was her recruiter, and she was just an ignorant victim. Of course, this recruiter was just a pawn that died while making me a foolish request to keep this woman safe."

"And I intend to keep it that way..."

"Haha! Knight, I treated you as someone smart." Kolkus suddenly laughed while hearing such childish words. "You are going to save a terrorist that caused so much harm to us?"

"That’s the thing, General, I can’t confirm what you say until I can see the full picture. This doesn’t mean I am denying your words or the losses your people suffered. But let’s not add another innocent to that list."

"That woman is not innocent." Red on the side said while noting down the details. "Knight Remira, don’t destroy your reputation, along with that of the Radiant Knights for a single Criminal."

"I don’t intend to do such a foolish thing... Office Red." Remira was not going to be pushed back in this case. "She continued. "I can assure you, the things you learn from her won’t be as important as the things you can get from me. As I am someone who had been hunting the person behind this woman for a long time."

"So if you wish for cooperation and learn what this existence truly is, you need to fulfill some of my requests, otherwise, you can forget about ever learning who your enemy truly is."

"The one in Durum, you just mentioned," Red said again and Remira nodded. "What else can you learn about him?"

"From your words, unless you have gone rogue, the others in Radiant Knights must also know of this existence, and they didn’t act while he was wreaking havoc in the city?" The General was astounded, as he wondered if what Remira was saying was true or not.

But she knows that none of her words might seem believable for now.

"As I said, they might know it, or they might not. Until we agree on keeping the life of this woman intact, I am ready to give you the report we have on him."

At such words, the General’s eyes struggled for a bit.

Even he knows that a Mortal soldier might not be privy to the true details of her employer. And by taking her in, the most he would give was a chance of earning some bragging rights. Nothing more.
