Chapter 1321 - Chapter 1321 Chapter 1420 Do You Believe
Chapter 1321: Chapter 1420: Do You Believe? Chapter 1321: Chapter 1420: Do You Believe? Hearing Fang Lin’s words, a sinking feeling suddenly gripped Yin Wuyan’s heart. Could it be that the black-robed guardian had revealed her location to Fang Lin?
Upon further consideration, it seemed highly likely.
The black-robed guardian could know the location of anyone within the Second Array. Previously, she had disclosed Fang Lin’s position to both Yin Wuyan and the elder in red. It was entirely possible that she had now revealed Yin Wuyan’s location to Fang Lin as well.
As for the reason, Yin Wuyan could guess that the black-robed guardian probably deemed Fang Lin stronger and thus wanted to eliminate her using Fang Lin’s hand.
Yin Wuyan couldn’t help but sneer internally. That black-robed guardian truly had her ways–killing an outsider without lifting a finger, using another outsider’s hand.
“Even if you find me, what can you do? Can you kill me?” Yin Wuyan said, her expression calm and devoid of any panic.
Fang Lin looked at Yin Wuyan’s arm and smiled. “You’ve actually recovered, which is somewhat surprising.”
Yin Wuyan looked at Fang Lin and said lightly, “Your wounds seem to have healed quickly as well. But has it only been a few days since you’ve fully recovered?”
Fang Lin’s lips curved upward, his body enveloped in Kylin armor, holding the Mysterious Sea Dragon Spear in hand, its tip pointing directly at Yin Wuyan.
With a wave of his hand, four Ancient Lamps of Flame God whirled out, carrying deep flames that fluttered around Yin Wuyan, subtly encircling her and leaving no chance for escape.
Not only that, but beneath the ground, three Golden Scale Ant Kings had already been lying in ambush. Should Yin Wuyan make any sudden moves, they would strike unexpectedly, catching her off guard.
Originally, Fang Lin had obtained three eggs of Golden Scale Ants at Hundred Beast Mountain. Now, under his diligent nurturing, these three ants had grown into Demon Kings. Though still young Demon Kings, their noble lineage endowed them with robust strength.
Together, these three Golden Scale Ant Kings could battle an expert of the seventh or eighth level of Spirit Bone. Though they might not suffice to handle Yin Wuyan alone, Fang Lin didn’t expect the three Golden Scale Ant Kings to cause too much trouble for her; they would merely assist when necessary.
Yin Wuyan looked around at the Ancient Lamps of Flame God and then at the poised Fang Lin, appearing quite composed.
“If you kill me, that black-robed woman will also kill you,” Yin Wuyan said.
Fang Lin sneered, “What is she, really? I’ve already made her bow to me once.”
Yin Wuyan shook her head. “She might not be stronger than you, but she is the guardian here. That’s where she has an advantage over you. You will never outmatch her here.”
“So, what exactly are you trying to say? Are you buying yourself some time? I don’t mind telling you, that old man from Hidden Kill Hall is already dead, and now it’s your turn. No one can save you in this Second Array,” Fang Lin declared, his Mysterious Sea Dragon Spear suddenly trembling in his hand. The spear shot towards Yin Wuyan like a dragon emerging from water.
Yin Wuyan extended a finger, sketching an ancient character in the air in front of her.
As soon as the ancient character appeared, a strong aura surged, twisting the space around it as if it could not contain the character’s presence.
When the Mysterious Sea Dragon Spear struck the ancient character, Fang Lin immediately felt a resistance, his own force rebounding back at him.
Fang Lin’s attack was thwarted, and he stumbled back several steps, his face showing a hint of surprise. However, as his face was covered by a Kylin mask, Yin Wuyan could not see his expression.
“You can’t kill me, even at your peak, let alone now that you’re injured and barely holding yourself together. Did you think I wouldn’t notice?” Yin Wuyan said with a light smile.
Fang Lin sneered, “You think too highly of yourself. Have you so quickly forgotten the pain of losing your arm?”
Yin Wuyan didn’t care and continued, “Our fight will only benefit that black-robed guardian. I have a clue on how to leave this place. If you’re willing to listen, I’ll tell you. But if you insist on killing me, then there’s nothing I can do.”
Upon hearing this, Fang Lin’s brow furrowed, and he began to consider his options deeply.
Should he kill Yin Wuyan?
He definitely should. Regardless, Yin Wuyan was a member of the three sects, enemies to him. No matter how cunningly enticing or astonishingly beautiful her words might be, Fang Lin wouldn’t be swayed.
However, Fang Lin indeed cared about what Yin Wuyan said. Up to now, he didn’t know how to leave the Second Array, and the only way out seemed to be through the black-robed woman.
But now, the black-robed woman was hiding, not showing herself at all. Fang Lin couldn’t find her, floundering like a headless fly, unable to locate the Array Eye.
If Yin Wuyan really knew where the Array Eye was, maybe Fang Lin could refrain from killing her for now; however, he couldn’t tell whether her words were true or if she was just saying this to save her life.
“What clue do you know about?” Fang Lin asked, not rushing to act.
Yin Wuyan smiled faintly, “I know where the Array Eye is. By going there, you can leave this Second Array.”
Fang Lin remained silent. Yin Wuyan wasn’t in a hurry, waiting for his response, looking utterly unconcerned about him possibly attacking her.
“If you don’t believe me, you can come with me and see for yourself. Whether to leave or stay, or to keep attacking me, will be up to you to decide,” Yin Wuyan said.
“How do I feel like this is a trap? Trying to make me fall for it?” Fang Lin said, highly vigilant.
Yin Wuyan laughed, “You suspect this is a trap set by me and that black-robed woman? It’s possible, sure. But you were able to find me with that woman’s help, right? Since the black-robed woman has helped you, it’s unlikely she would set a trap with me; wouldn’t that be contradictory?”
Upon hearing this, Fang Lin couldn’t help but inwardly admire her. Yin Wuyan was indeed no ordinary woman; she analyzed the current situation between Fang Lin, the black-robed woman, and herself very clearly, leaving Fang Lin almost speechless.
However, Fang Lin did not let down his guard because he had found Yin Wuyan not by the black-robed woman’s help, but because he had left a mark on Yin Wuyan, which had enabled him to find her.
As to whether Yin Wuyan was setting a trap with the black-robed woman, Fang Lin was unsure.
Seeing that Fang Lin still seemed unconvinced, Yin Wuyan waved her hand, and a white chess piece flew out.
Fang Lin instantly became alert, thinking Yin Wuyan was going to attack.
Then he saw the white chess piece emit a burst of white light, and the figure of the black-robed woman appeared from within the light. It seemed the chess piece had been spying on the black-robed woman all along, recording these scenes.
“Her every move is within my grasp; the Array Eye was also found using this method,” Yin Wuyan said.
PS: Fourth update, just to explain the situation, I have a lot to deal with recently, including traveling back to Chongqing from Jiangsu. I’ve been so busy; my writing has been done at midnight and scheduled for daylight hours. Once I’m back in Chongqing, I should be able to resume five updates per day.
