The Emperor's Omega Is An Extra
Chapter 139: Prepare

Chapter 139: Prepare

Arren woke up the next day feeling refreshed, but his legs were a little sore. After all, he played around in the sea for a few hours and then swam back to the shore for almost an hour, so it wasn’t surprising that his muscles were in pain.

After blinking and being completely awake, he couldn’t help but grimace as reality came back to him. While he was sleeping peacefully here, Spade might have still been searching for him.

His guilt came back, as he knew everything that was happening was his fault. He sighed, somehow defeated. Arren, who was now having a short reflection on his misdeeds yesterday.

How could he still be here and not have returned right away? Uh... he was definitely not hiding on purpose from the alpha to avoid the punishment, not at all.

It was morning, so he could wander around and even ask Mr. Ivo where the private villa might be. Since he already knew that Arren was here, telling him that Spade was here as well wasn’t that surprising.

The problem was... Arren had to curl up as though cowering in fear; he didn’t know how to face the alpha after what he had done. He was aware that he had really messed up and that getting punished, even with how much Spade indulged him, was only reasonable.

Would he be imprisoned in the little black room from now on? Arren shook his head, there was no way, the alpha wasn’t like that. Right? Well, he was only being too imaginative so as to give his actions some justification.

In any case, no matter how afraid he was to face the alpha because of his guilt, Arren still had to come back. Sooner or later, someone would find him, unless he deliberately hid himself. Hah, there was no way Arren would do that! No way.

"Mr. Ivo, this place is quite secluded, right?" Arren asked, eating the breakfast that the elder omega had ordered for them.

Ivo didn’t know why he was asking this, but he still nodded.

"Yes, one of the reasons I stayed here." he simply answered.

For that, Arren wouldn’t admit how he sighed in relief. But afterward, his conscience still won over to his mischief, and he still couldn’t help asking about the whereabouts of the villa.

"Mr. Ivo, how many days have you been here?" He casually asked, scooping some soup, and letting it warm his stomach.

"I’ve been here for months," he nonchalantly replied, not concealing anything, much like how he didn’t care about it.

Arren was a bit stunned, but he soon shrugged it off. The reason that the elder omega had stayed in this place for months, he wasn’t here to ask. They only knew each other for almost a day, and it wasn’t enough to intrude on each other’s business.

"Then, do you know where the private part of the island is located?"

Arren honestly didn’t know what to call it. Since, it was a part where the Emperor’s villa was located, calling it a royal vacation house wasn’t wrong. However, he just couldn’t say it, right? Who knew what its name was for the locals?

Mr. Ivo’s brow gracefully moved, and he pondered for a moment what he was talking about before a light of enlightenment shone in his eyes.

"I think you are talking about the forbidden area of the island," he smiled and nodded. "It’s in the southernmost part of the island."

Calling it a forbidden area was a bit much, but it was true no one was allowed to go there. It was simply because that part of the island wasn’t developed, there was still forest, and they might encounter poisonous snakes along the way.

Some have explored there before and only seen scattered villas that looked abandoned all year round but were soon left since nothing could be seen aside from the peaceful experience of swimming in the sea.

The rumors even said some wild and dangerous animals lurked in that part of the island, so no one went in there again. As for whether the rumor was true, no one wanted to be sacrificed to confirm it.

Arren was a bit startled since how the fuck he wandered this far. Sure enough, was he that much of a direction idiot, or was it because the sea didn’t have a sense of direction in the first place? Who knew? He was here anyway. There was no use in thinking about it.

Fortunately, he didn’t try to find the villa on his own. Since they landed directly on that place, they had not seen the whole image of their area aside from the fact that it was really isolated from the rest of the island. So, the forest was like a natural barrier to that place. It made sense, and it wouldn’t evoke too much attention, unlike if it were tightly guarded instead.

Pursing his lips, he played with his spoon. While he was yapping about being a coward to see Spade, he was actually eager to see the alpha inside of him. He was worried, and he missed him as well. He never wanted to ruin their time on this vacation like this.

"How can I get there?" After some deliberation, he inquired. Arren only wanted to return alone; he was already grateful and had bothered Mr. Ivo enough. He wasn’t shameless enough to let him guide him there, as that wasn’t his responsibility.

Mr. Ivo looked at him, and Arren knew that the elder omega was aware of what he was thinking. At this point, he was helpless. Was he the one easy to read, or were the people around him too perceptive to tell? He was leaning more toward the latter reason.

Even if that were the case, the elder omega still told him what he knew and how Arren could find it. In fact, it was easy since it was a famous location as well; he could ask for directions along the way. Yet, the real challenge was how to bypass the forest.

Arren naively thought at first that he could just swim from here again or use the beach and tread from there. Since he had already done so before, that was much riskier, as he didn’t really know how he did it, He just swam blindly without any direction in mind other than the shore.

It made him wonder: how the hell had he even done it in the first place? There was no way he had only swum for over an hour since he reached this place, which was almost at the other part of the beach. It was to be noted that Hamayana Beach was not a small island that could be explored in a few minutes of walking.

If only he could use a boat, then everything would be settled. The sea route was much better than the land route, on which he had a lot of detours to make. The other part was a forbidden area in its truest sense; he knew that unfamiliar boats wouldn’t be able to dock there, much less now that the Emperor was staying there.

"You need a car, or do you want to walk by yourself?" Mr. Ivo asked.

That too. He could walk, but that would be a hassle; what if someone recognized him along the way? However, when worse came to worst, he didn’t mind flaunting his face so the one searching for him could see him.
