Arren composed himself and waited for Spade to open the door and get out of the car first. While he was inside, he could even hear the clamor of the media and the blinding lights from their flashes.

With Spade’s guidance and as they became the focus of everyone’s attention, Arren’s hold on the alpha’s arm tightened. He slightly closed his eyes, not directly looking at the flashes of light. Although they already had cameras that would not temporarily blind you, it was still unbearable for him, who wasn’t used to it.

Holding Spade’s arm and with the escorts of the royal guards, they reached the center, which the media was not allowed to step into, as they exhaled disappointingly before continuing to take pictures in the distance.

"Don’t be nervous, I’m here," Spade whispered to him.

Arren lifted his head and instantly locked gazes with the alpha. He was getting nervous because he was about to meet those world leaders and even the nobles as Spade’s lover. He didn’t want to give a bad impression that might lead to the alpha being criticized.

"Don’t think too much of it," he smiled, as they stopped and talked gently to each other as though not minding everyone’s eyes that were watching them. Spade then caressed his right cheek, not hiding his affection for his omega from the whole world. "Just be like you always are, Arren."

With this, his face was slightly flushed since he was still sensing everyone’s attention as being on them, but his confidence shot through the roof with Spade’s gentle touches. Since the alpha didn’t mind it, why should he?

He was there as Spade’s lover, and not to please everyone. Right, from the start, Arren never believed he was someone who needed to please others to be like him, and he didn’t care for it.

"Thank you," he gratefully said, as he finally gave his sweet and captivating smile after being relieved of his burden to have a good impression and image for the sake of Spade’s status.

This smile was clearly caught on camera and was the focus on everyone’s television or whatever devices they used to watch the broadcast or livestream. Everyone couldn’t help but marvel as their hearts skipped a beat; no one wouldn’t like looking at such an ethereal beauty like Arren.

Some of the younger generations even recognized him. Arren was crowned as the most beautiful omega of the Empire, so his popularity couldn’t be said to be low, but he kept a rather low profile and wasn’t active on social media that much. Since earlier, he was there only politely smiling or even shaking hands with the delegates. Arren was already letting himself get used to it; if he truly became the Empress, he would always stand beside Spade on formal occasions like these.
