Mingshen looked at his employee being pushed into the police car and he looked at Jia. "How can I bribe you for his bail?"

Jia threw him a glare. "He almost killed a man."

"That man almost killed his precious bed," he pouted.

"You cannot be serious right now."

"I am always extremely serious when I am with you Spicy~"

From the corner of her eye, she saw Meng Rin coming out. She walked to her side and asked, "Are you okay, Meng Rin?"

Meng Rin bit her lower lip, watching Bai Yingtai being hauled away. "I-I am fine..."

"I understand you are going to the hospital now. But we might need you to come to the bureau sometime for your testimony."

Jia smiled and assured her. From behind Meng Rin, she saw the man in the wheelchair accompanied by his bodyguard and another man. The bodyguard held the same stone cold expression like the day at the amusement park.

"You are also coming, right Zihan!" Fei Nanyou waved his hand. His gaze fell on Mingshen, and it darkened.

He frowned. "Do I have to?"

"How could you!? Tengqi is our good friend!"

"The Hou family would have already reached the hospital by now. And you are there too."

Zhuo Syaoran smiled. "You should go. He is right. As close families, you should definitely be there."

Zhuo Zihan wasn’t really so thrilled, but he agreed. "Okay."

As that party left for the hospital, Jia couldn’t help but ask, "Was that other person your friend?"

He smiled. "He is my younger brother, Zhuo Zihan. It reminds me. I haven’t really introduced myself."

Cui Shin only stared at Jia without much response. Jia was slightly taken aback.

She is quite young to retire from the military...

Mingshen yawned. "Yes, hi hello time is over so we will leave. Spicy and I are on a very important mission and we don’t need ad breaks for entertainment."

From afar, she caught Huojin’s sight and sighed in relief.

"Did you find her?"

Huojin asked, "Who did you all lose?"

Mingshen proudly said, "The ringmaster. But I will catch him soon enough~"

Her brow twitched. "You two should at least try to remember the main people involved in the cases we solved before."

Jia gave a second dose of Yong’s identity reminder, this time to Huojin.
