THE BILLIONAIRE'S VENGEFUL WIFE RETURNS
Chapter 95: NEW APARTMENT 1

Chapter 95: NEW APARTMENT 1

Harlow stood in the ruins of her shattered apartment, her chest tightening as she took one last look around. Broken glass crunched beneath her shoes, the remnants of a life that had been ripped apart. This was all she had left, and even that was now gone.

As she stepped outside, the crowd that had gathered stared at her and Andrew. Most people stared at her with pity, others with jealousy and contempt. They all saw the Blackwood family as evil, especially with the negative news surrounding the family.

Murmurs rippled through the onlookers, venomous whispers that sliced through her like knives.

"That’s her, isn’t it? The Blackwood girl."

"The used-up whore."

"The girl all the rich men visit."

Some openly sneered, others shook their heads as though her mere presence offended them. They stared at the eligible bachelor walking with her and wondered who he was.

If only he knew the kind of woman she was...

By the car, Andrew gently placed the last of her clothes into the trunk, his movements careful, almost reverent. His warm presence was a stark contrast to the cold stares around her.

He closed the trunk and turned toward her, his sharp features softening as he opened the passenger door. Harlow stepped in quietly. "Thank you." She muttered.

"Miss Harlow, I’m so sorry for what happened to you and Ava." An elderly man came next to her door. She recognized him immediately, he was the man who sells across the street. The same man Ava had gotten the drink from.

"I should have called the cops when those thugs came. But Ava..." He looked around. "Where is Ava?" He asked.

"I haven’t seen her sir Geo, did you buy a chance to see her?" Harlow asked this time.

Sir Geo tilted his head as if trying to remember what he had seen. "I... I did see two men in black leave with her last night." He finally said. Harlow nodded. The men in black could be Alanis’s men, she would have to ask him later.

Andrew stepped inside the car and started driving. The people there didn’t move till their car was out of sight.

"Why didn’t you call me, Harlow? I could have helped you." Andrew asked. He was mad that Alanis had been the one to help her, that man didn’t deserve Harlow one bit. He would never allow him to come near her ever again.

He’s had a crush on Harlow since their high school days and he’s not going to stop now. He would protect her with everything he has.

"I didn’t have a chance to call anyone." She said. She had no idea why at that moment, Alanis had been the only person she thought about. That man should be the last person she should think about.

"It’s alright. You’re safe now. I’ll help you get Ava myself." Mack promised.

The drive through the city was quiet, and after a while, both people arrived at an estate. Andrew waved at the security men, they smiled back while they let him pass through.

"Are you really remarrying Alanis Hamilton?" He turned to look at her as they drove in. Harlow had two reasons she had agreed to go back to Alanis, to destroy both him and his family from within. The only way she can achieve that is by being in the family.

She wanted revenge for her dead children. She would make each of them pay for the things they did to her.

"How did you know?"

"An invitation was sent to my family about your remarriage and welcome party. Charlotte had sent it." He glanced at her again before keeping his eyes on the road.

Harlow had no idea Grandma Hamilton was throwing a party. Is that the reason Claudia had planned to set her up? She gritted her teeth on thinking of her sister.

"Yes." She said calmly.

"I thought you didn’t like him anymore?" Andrew asked, his anger evident. He didn’t want to lose the only woman he loved for the second time again. He would not let that bastard come close to her again.

"I don’t," Harlow said.

"Why would you want to be with someone you don’t like." The gate to his huge Villa screamed open the moment he arrived and he drove in.

"It’s a long story, Andrew. Something I don’t want to share. You have nothing to worry about, I’m not willing to spend the rest of my life there." Harlow smiled confusing the man the more. She couldn’t speak more than she had, she would only sound like a fool the more she revealed.

Andrew frowned, he didn’t like the sound of this. He will not lose the one woman he loves more than life itself again. It had been a mistake that Alanis had married her before, but he would make sure their divorce was final. He would make Harlow fall in love with him. He’ll teach her what love really feels like.

He’s ready to do anything for her.

"Do whatever you want, but make sure you do what makes you happy." Harlow smiled at his words.

"Thank you, Andrew."

"It’s nothing, sweetheart. Come, let me take you to your room." Andrew stepped out of the car and opened the passenger seat for her.

"Sir Andrew." An elderly woman approached them. She had a towel in her arms and looked nothing below 49-50 in age. She stared at Harlow and smiled. She recognized Harlow with just a glance. The woman her sir Andrew always spoke about since a child. He has never spoken about any other woman except her before.

She had seen Harlow’s picture with Andrew before, that is how she knew her kind sir was in love. She had prayed for a miracle, for fate to bring them together, and was glad her prayers were being answered.

At least now, Andrew can finally inherit his father’s company.

"Matilda, bring Miss Blackwood’s things from the car, she’ll be living with us from now on." He commanded as he held Harlow’s hands with a smile and led her into his Villa.
