Chapter 93: THE MOST DESIRED WOMAN
MUSIC RECOMMENDATION: I FEEL OT COMING, THE WEEKND.

.
After a steamy night together in the past, Alanis had left the villa again before Harlow could wake up. And when she did wake up, she was greeted by an empty bed. All traces of him were gone.
Like the fool she was, she still smiled. She still had hope in them. She believed if Alanis returned home once in years, it was a sign he was somehow into her. She knew the truth yet she turned a blind eye to it all.
She turned on her cell phone that morning only to see the same man who had spent the night with her in a hotel with her stepsister. Claudia had posted a picture of both she and Alanis eating breakfast together on one of her social media pages, with a caption. ’what’s life without love’.
Harlow’s blood ran cold. Betrayal burned through her veins, sharp and all-consuming. For a moment, she couldn’t breathe. How could he? How could they?
Like the desperate, obsessed fool she hated herself for being, Harlow had rushed down to the hotel, not caring how irrational she might seem. She needed answers. Needed him to see her. Though she had no idea what his seeing her would change.
Even after playing with her body however he wished, he still preferred her sister over her.
There were already speculations of Alanis and Claudia being a couple at the time, without the public knowing she was the true bride of Alanis. She was his legal wife, not her sister.
Fueled by heartbreak and humiliation, Harlow had confronted them right there in the parking lot, her voice trembling with rage and desperation. But Alanis had only looked at her with cold disdain. Back then, he saw her as nothing but a lying scheming woman who would do anything for his attention.
He saw her as a monster and a devil that wanted to harm his precious Claudia.
Just then he did the unthinkable.
He made her kneel before them.
Right there, in front of Claudia, in front of everyone, Alanis humiliated her. The pain of that moment was seared into her memory, a scar she could never erase.
And today, as she stood there, watching him squirm under her own carefully crafted schemes, she remembered every second of it. The humiliation. The betrayal. The absolute agony of loving a man who seemed determined to destroy her.
She had vowed that day to make him pay. To make him suffer, not just physically but emotionally and mentally. She would strip him of the pride he wielded so arrogantly, the same way he had stripped her of her dignity.
Both he and Claudia would regret everything they had done to her.
This time, Harlow wouldn’t be the one kneeling.
"Do whatever you want Me Hamilton, but I’d rather die than be with a man like you." She stepped into Andrew’s car, the man got in too and drove off leaving Alanis on the floor like a mad person.
The news about the Blackwood’s youngest daughter and Alanis Hamilton spread around like wildfire. There were so many headlines and speculations about Alanis chasing the Blackwood’s youngest daughter even if she had humiliated him countless times before.
"What happened last night?" Andrew asked. He had been upset about the conversation between Harlow and Alanis, but he didn’t want to involve himself in it. But hearing that Harlow must have been hurt made him upset too.
"It’s a long story," Harlow said. It was a terrifying moment she wanted to forget. A moment she didn’t want to talk about anymore.
"You can make it short Harlow, I’m all ears." Andrew glanced at her, his eyes moving down to the shirt on her body and he frowned. He immediately stopped before a boutique.
"What’s going on, why did you stop?" Harlow asked.
"To get you new clothes, I don’t like seeing another man’s clothes on you." He said calmly and stepped out of the car. Before Harlow could process his words, her side of the door opened with Andrew stretching his hands towards her.
"Come." He said. Harlow didn’t hesitate to take his hand as he helped her out of the car and into the boutique.
"Welcome to Fashion High." The doorman greeted them as he ushered them in. Andrew held Harlow’s arms protectively as they stepped in. The boutique, though not as big as the ones Harlow has been to, was still very beautiful. The clothes in there were beautiful.
"Mr Phillipsburg." A woman’s voice came from behind and both people turned to look at her. A smile was hanging on her lips as she stared at them. With her were two girls in uniform. They looked like her sales girls.
"What a surprise visit." She stared at Harlow and recognized her immediately, then her smile expanded. Harlow Blackwood was all over the news. She has turned into the most desired woman in the country after rejecting and dumping Alanis Hamilton.
Everyone in the entire Halkhalls spoke of them. And Andrew just happened to be in today’s news. She was shocked to see them both here today.
"Miss Blackwood. It’s an honor to see you." She said sizing the young girl from head down to her toes. She saw nothing special in Harlow that was making all of the men in Halkhalls kill themselves over her.
"Thank you," Harlow said sweetly.
In her past life, she was a mere useless housewife, but in this life, she’s the most desirable woman alive.
"I need new clothes for her and shoes please," Andrew said calmly and the woman nodded.
Harlow smiled at how very respected Andrew was in this life. In her past life, he ended up being a drunk because she rejected him countless times again and again even if she knew Alanis never loved her.
She had hurt him, and she was genuinely sorry for it.
"Please come this way." The woman led them through another door and they were greeted by more beautiful clothes than the former. Harlow wanted something so casual and this place seems like the right place for it.
After shopping, Andrew had insisted on paying for everything she picked and they stepped out of the boutique after.
