Alanis stepped out of the car calmly, the heels of his shoes clicking against the brick floor as he approached the woman lying on the floor, blocking his entrance.

He has had a stressful day and didn’t need more stress added to his life, but here he is.

"What are you doing on the floor?" His deep voice sounded and Garth turned to look at him. She immediately started crying the moment she saw him.

"Alanis," Garth called dramatically, like a helpless cat. She has been waiting out here patiently for his return. She even tore her clothes more to make her acting look so real.

"Harlow. That stupid wife of yours did this to me. She chased Lia out of the Villa and tore my clothes." Garth cried out. Alanis had the final judgment, only he could chase Harlow out of the Villa.

"What are you saying?" Alanis asked staring at her.

"Look at your mother Lanis. Look what your wife did to me. Every day she keeps humiliating me before the servants and maids. She keeps disrespecting your mother." She said.

"And just today, she attacked Lia again and tore my clothes, Alanis. She beat me up before everyone, including Mother." She wiped her tears seeming so helpless.

"Alanis, I don’t want her here anymore. Your mother does not feel safe around her. If she doesn’t leave, then I’ll leave." She said.

The maids gathered around nodded. They have been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. Alanis is known to never let anyone mess with his family, especially Garth. He loves the woman like his own mother and would do anything for her.

"You’re not. My mother is dead." He said flatly. "Be a good mother to your children and stop worrying about my wife." He walked past her as he got into his Villa. Garth was too stunned to move from where she sat. Embarrassment washed over her as she saw her stepson’s figure retreat into his Villa.

The maids around the Villa were rather stunned. Even if this had happened before, they had expected something different. Maybe a different response from Alanis.

Garth frowned, standing from where she had laid since her daughter left. Once again, Harlow’s rudeness had been bypassed by Alanis. It was time she took matters into her hands.

"How long will you keep acting this way?" Charlotte appeared from a corner. She had been too shocked earlier to even speak or talk to anyone. But she tried to be logical about things this time. Maybe she was overthinking.

The Harlow is her last life cannot be here. This is her story, that Harlow cannot be in this story.

"Mark today Mother, I will get back at every one of you who humiliated me. I’ll make sure you all pay for everything you’ve done today." Garth said as she started walking back into her Villa. She knows the only reason she’s suffering this way is because her children are still serving their punishment.

She would make sure George deals with Harlow. She will never give Harlow peace from now on.

When Alanis got inside the Villa, "Welcome back master." Ava said with a bow as she took his bag and suit.

"Where’s my wife?" Alanis asked.

"She’s yet to return," Ava said to see the man nod. He had to give her a report of everything he did that day, just as she asked. At least he still gets to handle the affairs of the company when she’s not around.

Alanis rolled his sleeve revealing his well-muscled arms with thick veins popping out of it. He adjusted his tie as his long legs strode towards the kitchen. Ava, along with the other servants stared at the master with wide eyes. They couldn’t believe it.

"Master Alanis, w... we have already prepared dinner, would you like some?" A maid said gingerly. Never in their life have they seen their master cook before.

Their new madam, not only has she succeeded in taking over the company, but she has turned their master into a house husband and assistant. Alanis Hamilton, a ruthless business tycoon, had been reduced to her cook.

"I don’t need your food." Alanis cut them off as he picked the chef knife and started chopping some vegetables. He chopped the vegetables like a pro, ignoring the silent glanced and awe expressions from the maids watching.

Not only was their master a good business lord, but he was also so very handsome and a good cook. He is every woman’s dream.

Ava smiled watching him. She knew she had picked the right man for her Miss Harlow. He isn’t at all what Harlow portrayed him to be.

"Ava," Alanis called and she was out of her daydream.

"Yes, master," Ava responded.

"You can retire for the day, tell the other servants too. I’ll handle things from here."

"Yes, master." Ava nodded and ushered the maids over to their maid’s quarters.
