"Evan’s." He greeted with a smile. "This must be our smart scriptwriter." He said as he walked towards them. The older man stretched his hands out for a handshake and Harlow didn’t hesitate to shake him.

"Come let’s talk we have a lot to discuss." He said leading them back to the chair. Compared to the other room she had been to, this room was a little bit small and the table wasn’t as large.

"I am Ben Kalifa by the way. The production of the movie." He said finally steeling on a chair. "My pal, Mayor would have been here today, but he had other things to do. Maybe he’ll be here for the next meeting." He said.

Ben suddenly covered his mouth as if whispering for just Harlow to hear, "Let me give you a head start, Mayor isn’t really the friendly type, but I’m sure you would like him." Ben chuckled.

"Noted," Harlow said calmly. Everyone knows directors are usually not friendly because of their roles in movies, but not all are as bad as Robert and Paul.

"We have all of the crew members except of course the main people for the movie. The actors and actresses." Evans said calmly.

"Yes," Benson said. "But Shoot Pictures, are known for their good actors and actresses, finding one wouldn’t be an issue," Benson said.

"How about we call for an audition and then we pick the best from them?" Harlow suggested like before. She wanted to bring her imagination to life and was looking for the best for the play.

"That’s a wonderful idea, a one-week audition would do and then, we’ll pick the best." Benson agreed.

"I’ll discuss with Mayor about our decision. You should prepare for it and I would do. It’s going to be a very busy year." He smiled.

They discussed a few other things and the budget for it. For Evan’s, he was willing to invest a few million into the movie which Harlow was grateful for. He also said there were a few investors who believed in the success of the movie and were willing to invest a lot into the production of the movie.

She had thought she would invest a lot, but she was wrong. Just like in the past, investors were flocking in to invest in the movie. But that didn’t mean she wouldn’t make her investment too.

"So what do you say, Miss Harlow?" Benson asked.

"I say let’s go with that," Harlow said.

"Please let’s exchange contacts so that we keep in touch from time to time. And please, don’t hesitate to send your next screenplay to me directly. I know we’ll work together a lot in the future."

"Yes, thank you," Harlow said. She reached for her purse but couldn’t find it anywhere. She knew she didn’t drop it anywhere as it had been in her hands throughout the day. And then it dawned on her.

That annoying husband of hers... He had taken the purse the moment he kissed her to have an excuse to come pick her up.

Harlow gritted her teeth, why wouldn’t he just leave her alone? She felt frustrated at the moment. Alanis has never liked her so why was he doing this now?

"Um, Mr Kalifa, I don’t think I have my purse with me at the moment. I should give you my contact instead and when next I’m with my phone, we’ll talk."

"That’s not an issue," Benson said softly.

After the meeting, Harlow was escorted out of shoot pictures by Evans himself. She had no idea why the CEO of Shoot Pictures was this kind to her, but she was grateful for it. Evans wasn’t just a small name, the Collin Bergs run the entertainment industry. They control everything that happens in the industry.

"You’re a kind man Mr Berg," Harlow said as they stepped out. As she walked she could see the faces of known actresses staring weirdly at her as they walked by. Each greeted Evan respectfully as they walked past them.

"I’m not. I’m in fact a very bad person." Evans said calmly dipping both his hands in his pocket as they walked.

"But you’re kind to me." Harlow reminded him.

"Hmm. You’re special." He smiled. If Alanis hadn’t begged him to care for his wife because of the favor he owes him, he doubts he would have ever agreed to it. At first, he was angry, but right now, he realized the reason his friend wanted to protect his wife.

Maybe if he had met Harlow a little bit earlier...

"So what do you do in the office all day? Sit and wait for the screenplay?" Curious Harlow asked. She had never ventured into the imaginative aspect of life before and was glad she was doing this.

Evan’s chuckled at her question. She had no idea why something about the way this man acted reminded her so much of her demonic husband. Harlow shook her head, there’s no way this man and Alanis are friends. Their line of work is completely different.

"We get thousands of screenplays sent to our emails daily Miss Harlow. And no, I don’t come to work every day."

"I’m only here today because a good friend asked me to be here for you which he owes me a lot." He said calmly.

"A good friend," Harlow murmured wondering if it was Andrew. He was there the day Evan brought the letter to her, was he the one that asked him to come?

She smiled. Andrew has done more than she could ever imagine and she wondered how she would be able to pay him back.

"Who interrupted my gunshot?" The director in charge of the ongoing shoot at a corner outside screamed at them.

"Go again, and I want the shot fired accurately this time." He yelled.

"They have been shooting this scene since morning," Evan said calmly.

"Why’s that?" Harlow asked.

"It is what happens when you hire the wrong actors for the movie. Low budget leads to low results." He smiled.

Both people were still so lost in the ongoing shoot that they failed to see a familiar sleek black car parked at a corner.

Alanis honked twice drawing their attention and they both stared at him. Harlow frowned and Evan’s smiled.

Alanis stepped out of the car immediately, his legs making remarking long strides as he approached them. He looked nothing more than a sexy demi-god straight out of hell, ready to seduce every woman around.

Heads turned to his direction, his aura and charisma ready to sweep women off their feet, except the one standing before him. Everything he does is deliberate just to impress her, yet she seems so unfazed by him.

"Hello, brother." Evan’s greeted his best friend as they exchanged hugs. Their action only shocked the woman beside them...
