Harlow stared at the two men agape. She had no idea her mouth had been hanging open for long till Alanis rubbed her hair. "My little Villain." He said with a smile.

She slapped his hands and adjusted her hair. "He’s... You’re..."

"He’s my friend," Alanis said and turned to his friend. "I see you took good care of her. Thank you."

"It was nothing. Your wife isn’t too much pain in the ass like the others." Evan’s chuckled. "That is my payback. I should leave you two now, I’ll see you another time." He winked at Harlow and then tapped his friend’s shoulder as he started walking away.

"Let’s go," Alanis said turning towards his car.

"Stealing my purse so that you could have an excuse to come back is not as sweet as you think it is." The red-haired woman suddenly said and he paused. "I’m still going to go back on my own," Harlow said stubbornly. It was time she stayed a little away from this man, but he didn’t look like he was ready to give her breathing space at all. He wanted to be everywhere she was.

"I’m here already unless you want to leave without your purse again." Alanis smiled. Harlow didn’t respond and started walking away.

"Come on, you have no money to leave on your own how the hell are you supposed to get to your destination?" His voice was a bit raised.

"I’ll find a good man willing to give me a ride." Alanis rushed towards her.

"Alright, I’m sorry for playing tricks with you sweetheart, just come with me, you’re too precious to be out here alone." He said sweetly.

"I’m not your sweetheart Mr Hamilton. I hope you haven’t forgotten my kindness these past few days was not out of my will." She paused and turned to him, her eyes moving around as she noticed a few people looking at them.

"You’re creating a scene out here, why not get back into the car and I’ll find my way home." Her cold voice echoed in his ears, but Alanis didn’t respond to her. It would take more than he’s doing to win her over. She had been so kind to him that he almost forgot she was the same woman who had confessed to hating him more than the devil itself.

Alanis suddenly stopped walking and Harlow smiled victoriously. If he thinks he can match her, then he must be a joker.

"My body itches, especially the hickeys, because of the sun. I need to apply the cream the doctor gave me." He suddenly said and she paused. She frowned and turned to look at him.

Even if there was sun in the sky, the weather was barely hot for his body to itch. This evil man. She gritted her teeth as she watched him.

"What? Have you forgotten your duties all of a sudden?" He asked staring at her.

Oh, she will get him back. She will make him pay for everything he has done to her.

"You can apply the cream yourself, you know how to read and write," Harlow said.

"My brain is not functioning right now to read the instructions. Come hurry, you don’t want to break your part of the deal. You’re my good humble wife till the injury you caused is healed." Alanis smiled. He watched her glare so badly at him, for a while.

"I regret why I didn’t give you an easy death that day." Harlow started walking towards the car and the sly man followed suit. She got into the car and he stepped in too shortly after.

Both people have been so engrossed in each other that they weren’t aware of the people videoing them. Harlow was already trending for kissing a mysterious and right now, the people of Halkhalls have finally found the man she kissed.

Both she and the country’s prince charming, Alanis Hamilton, were the talk of the town. Every girl wanted to be loved like Alanis. A man who isn’t afraid of showing his affection in public. They were both the envy of every couple in town.

Their car accelerated out of the vicinity at maximum speed.

"Where to madam?" The chauffeur asked, amidst the chaos between his boss and madam.

"4th district street on Camp Avenue," Harlow said calmly. Richard has sent her the location earlier today when she called. He even told her they had been working on a project and couldn’t wait to show her.

Without warning, Harlow turned to Alanis and started unbuttoning his shirt. Alanis smiled at her action. "At this rate, I could sue you for rape." He smiled.

"I dare you." She opened his shirt and brought out the cream the doctor had given them. She had no idea why Alanis’s injury had refused to heal, but she hoped this cream would work so that she could be free from his bondage.

She started applying the cream gently and when he hissed she blew the spot that hurt him. Alanis froze under her touch. Once she was done she settled on the chair and stared out the window. At this point, her anger had simmered a bit and she felt a lot better.

"Don’t button your shirt until the cream dries." She instructed and Alanis followed suit. He also says quietly in the car, staring out the window.

"How long have you and Evan’s been friends?" Harlow suddenly asked. She had thought Andrew had been the one to help her all this while, but it had been Alanis. Was he also the one that made Paul and Robert apologize to her?

Harlow suddenly frowned. That still wouldn’t change the fact that he was the same monster that had hurt her in the past.

"Since childhood. He’s like a brother to me." Alanis said. Harlow never recalled Alanis having any best friend named Evan before. She didn’t even know anything about his life.

"Why do you ask?" Alanis asked this time. He was curious to know why she was suddenly interested in Evan’s. That man is not who she thinks he is. If Alanis is a monster, then Evan is the Devil himself. A man who brings his movies to life.

"He seems like a nice person." Alanis chuckled.
