Chapter 192: Showing Off

The woman who complained went inside the fitting room changed her dress and stormed out of the shop while ranting.

Aryana and Elaine looked at each other. "The issue was resolved without us doing anything." Then both of them giggled.

Cassie was freaking inside. She glanced at Marianne who looked at her guiltily.

"What a useless piece of trash." She cursed silently.

Aryana approached the woman with short hair and remembered her to be the one who won the logo design contest. Her social media name was Moon Goddess.

"Thank you for speaking up and upholding justice. Can I know your real name, Moon Goddess?"

"Of course, my name is Melissa Tan." She extended her hand and Aryana shook it. "I just hate schemers and those who slander other people. I think she has malicious intentions."

"I also think the same way. There are many people who are jealous of the success of CoChi. I think she was hired by someone to intentionally create trouble. But it is a good thing that Moon Goddess is here." Elaine said while looking at Melissa gratefully.

Cassie pursed her lips. She moved to the place where the mannequins were displayed and studied the clothes that were on them. The designs were indeed good.

"How many of each are available for sale?" She felt the material of the cloth and found it to be of good quality.

"For prestige, we only sell one for each size, color, and design." Elaine explained to her.

"I’d like to buy these two dresses." Cassie pointed to a champagne-colored cocktail dress and an off-shoulder maroon miniskirt dress that were on the mannequin. She did not bother to fit the dresses anymore.

"What a coincidence!" A shrill voice coming from the store’s entrance caused everyone to turn their heads to the entrance.

Katherine Lustre was walking like a queen when she came inside with two bodyguards following closely behind. She was looking around as if finding someone. Disappointment registered on her face when she did not find what she was looking for.

"Welcome to CoChi Maam." The store’s manager greeted Katherine warmly. Katherine ignored her and headed straight to the Prestige Section.

"Cassie you are also here." Katherine looked at the dress that was being taken off the mannequin. "Hey, why are you taking that off?"

"Miss Cassie is buying this style Maam." The sales attendant respectfully replied to her.

She liked the dress that Cassie picked. "I like a similar to hers."

Cassie was dumbfounded. "Don’t tell me, you want us to go twinning? Be sensible. I ordered the dress first. Can’t you select other styles? See, there are so many in front of you. If you want I can help you pick dresses that will suit you." Cassie sounded like a machine gun that could not stop.

It was Katherine’s turn to be speechless. What a big reaction. She just wanted to tease her a little bit.

Aryana stood beside Katherine. She opened the Kaleidoscope app and showed it to her. "If you like you can select from the gallery. You can input your skin color, height, and your measurements here, and the app will recommend a few designs for you but of course, you can select whatever you like."

"Why didn’t you say earlier that you have such an app?" Cassie glared at Aryana. "Are you selective in serving your customers?"

Katherine smiled. She filled in her information and started browsing the suggested list.

"It’s not like that Cassie. When you looked at the mannequins, you seem to have decided in your mind what to buy. I didn’t have the chance to introduce the app to you." Aryana handed her another tablet. "Here, you can check out the app."

Cassie grabbed the tablet from her. She launched the Kaleidoscope app and she was amazed at its capabilities of the application. It was very user-friendly and the recommended clothes suited her taste that she added all of them to the cart.

Katherine craned her neck to see which clothes Cassie selected. Cassie had added six dresses to her cart. She did not want to lose to Cassie so she accepted all the app’s recommendations and there were a total of ten of them.

Katherine also saw that the designs of the dresses on the mannequins were good. The fabric was of fine quality and the workmanship was comparable to her branded clothes. She instructed the attendant to wrap the other dresses on the mannequins and add the ones she selected via the app.

Cassie did not bother about Katherine at all. She was engrossed in the Kaleidoscope app. She now understood why CoChi was so popular. An idea came into her mind. She thought that her visit to the mall was not wasted after all. She confirmed her order on the app. The sales attendant told her to wait awhile while the items she purchased will be wrapped.

"Have a seat ladies." Elaine invited Katherine, Cassie, and her friends to sit down.

The lounge area in the Prestige section was big enough to accommodate all five people. However, only Cassie and Katherine sat down. Marianne, Rhia, and Karla went to the display rack in the corner to look at the casuals displayed there. They hated to admit it but they also found a lot of great finds in the store. Since Cassie already bought some dresses, it meant that it would be okay for them to buy as well.

Katherine faced Aryana who was seated across from her. "You invited Erik Lee, why did you not invite me?" She asked in an oppressive way.

Aryana was speechless.

Cassie snorted and glanced at Katherine disdainfully. "Why should she invite you? Are you close?"

"We only invited a few people." Elaine tried to speak respectfully as possible. "Even Cassie Lopez was not invited."

Katherine narrowed her eyes as she looked toward Elaine who was sitting beside Aryana. "And who are you?"

"I am the Marketing Director at CoChi." Elaine puffed her chest as she introduced herself.

"Cassie and I are of different levels. Why are you comparing me to her? Are you saying I cannot be invited if Cassie is not?" She barked angrily at Elaine.

Cassie clenched her fist. ’What is this woman up to? Why is she making things difficult for me? Shouldn’t she fight with Aryana?’

"To be fair, there are quite a few dresses that I like the design. Can I talk to the designer? I want her to design dresses for me."

Elaine looked at Aryana before replying to Katherine. "The chief designer brought his pregnant wife home. If you like, you can give me your contact details and we will get in touch with you." Elaine was very good at diplomacy. She knew how to handle a difficult situation.

The sales attendant approached Katherine and handed her the dresses that she ordered. She also handed the ones to Cassie. She passed the receipt to both ladies while she held the mobile card reader. Prestige clients do not need to queue at the cashier. They can complete their purchase while they were seated comfortably in the lounge.

"I purchased a lot of dresses but how come, my total bill is lesser than hers?’ Katherine blurted out angrily.

"Ma’am, a few pieces of Miss Cassie’s dresses are very expensive." The sales attendant explained.

"In that case, bring me your most expensive dress and add that to my bill!"

The sales attendant happily complied.

"How petty!" Cassie smirked.

"What did you say?" Katherine asked angrily.

Cassie moved close to Katherine. She whispered in her ear.

"You are so petty. Why are you attacking me? Aren’t you here to make it difficult for Aryana?"
